Some ideas for multiple counter chambers are presented. Only the use of gas discharge detectors is discussed. The basic idea is to store or delay the discharge pulses, without previous amplification, until analysis can take place. The electronic circuitry is thus greatly simplified. Magnetic memory storage, dielectric memory storage, electrostatic storage and a delay line principle are discussed.
