DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA ON THE MATERIAL OF PRACTICING PANCASILA VALUES IN THE FORM OF A SCRAPBOOK FOR FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS AT SD NEGERI 101961 TIMBANG DELI FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

This research aims to: (1) Determine the development of learning media on the material of practicing Pancasila values in the form of a scrapbook for fourth-grade students, and (2) Assess the feasibility of the learning media developed on the same material. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The subjects of the research are 25 fourth-grade students from SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli, consisting of 11 boys and 14 girls. According to the material experts' assessment, the feasibility percentage is 94%, categorized as "Highly Feasible." The media experts' assessment shows a feasibility percentage of 96%, also categorized as "Highly Feasible." Student responses from the trials indicate a feasibility percentage of 91.04%, classified as "Highly Feasible." Similarly, based on teacher feedback, the feasibility percentage is 90.7%, with the same classification of "Highly Feasible." The media has been validated by both media and material experts, and it is deemed highly suitable for use as a learning tool for the material on practicing Pancasila values in the form of a scrapbook for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli.

Use of parkour in primary school physical education to develop motor creativity, divergent thinking, movement competence, and perceived motor competence

ABSTRACT Purpose As an extension of adventure education in school physical education, parkour has the potential to develop problem-solving and creative thinking along with the development of curriculum linked motor competencies and self-competence in a fun and risk-taking environment. This study aimed to investigate whether an adventure education model-based parkour intervention is more effective than the regular physical education in development of divergent thinking, motor creativity, movement competence and perceived motor competence of fourth-grade students. Methods A quasi-experimental, between group design was used. The participants were 55 fourth-grade students (Intervention: 28 from 1 school, Comparison: 27 from 2 schools) in rural regions. An eight-week parkour intervention (16 sessions) was designed and conducted for the intervention group, while the comparison group continued the regular physical education curriculum. One-way ANCOVA was used for the data analysis (p < .01). Measurement tools included Play Creativity, Divergent Thinking: Realistic Presented Problems, Körperkoordinationstest für Kinder: KTK and Perceived Motor Competence Questionnaire in Childhood (PMC-C). Findings Significant differences in motor creativity [F(1,52) = 9.76, p = .003, partial η2 = .158], divergent thinking skills [fluency F(1,52) = 33.14, p < .001, partial η2 = .389; originality F(1,52) = 7.39, p = .009, partial η2 = .124], movement competence [F(1,52) = 34.45, p < .001, partial η2 = .398], and perceived motor competence [F(1,52) = 7.44, p = .009, partial η2 = .125] were observed when compared to the comparison group. The intervention integrity was assessed to be 90%, and the attendance rate of the participants in the intervention was 87.2%. Conclusions This adventure education model-based parkour unit was effective in developing general and movement related creativity, as well as movement competence and perceived motor competence of primary school students. This study has implications for deploying movement exploratory approaches such as parkour as a means to achieve quality physical education characteristics which could involve professional development on the adventure education framework, parkour specific training, as well as non-linear and physical literacy enriched pedagogical practices.

Media Pembelajaran Kongkrit Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD YPK Sarawandori

This study aims to determine the increase in science learning motivation through concrete learning media in fourth grade students of YPK Sarawandori Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students with a total of 12 students. While the object of this research is students' science learning motivation after participating in learning by implementing concrete learning media. The data collection method used to collect data on students' science learning motivation is the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used in this classroom action research is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study are evidenced by an increase in science learning motivation from the results of the questionnaire analysis in cycle I showing an average value of 67.5 with a percentage of completeness of 58%, increasing in cycle II with an average value of 88 and a percentage of completeness of 100%. Thus, these results indicate that concrete learning media can increase science learning motivation in fourth grade students of YPK Sarawandori Elementary School.

Penerapan Model PBL Melalui Pendekatan Deferensiasi untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Pancasila Materi Gotong Royong pada Kelas IV di SDN Dukuh Kupang II Surabaya

This study is motivated by the low academic performance of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education, specifically in the topic of mutual cooperation. The aim of this research is to assess the improvement in learning outcomes for fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with a Differentiation approach. This research falls under the category of classroom action research and was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 28 fourth-grade students from SDN Dukuh Kupang II Surabaya. Data were collected through observations and tests, and then analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods. The results indicate that the implementation of the PBL model with a Differentiation approach successfully improved student learning outcomes in the topic of mutual cooperation. The average student performance was 57.14 during the pre-cycle. After implementing the PBL model in cycle I, the average score increased to 71.42, and in cycle II, it rose further to 84.72. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PBL model with a Differentiation approach is effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the topic of mutual cooperation at SDN Dukuh Kupang II Surabaya.

PENINGKATAN MINAT BACA SISWA MELALUI METODE MEMBACA NYARING DI DESA PANTAI MEKAR

Low interest in reading can lead to low cognitive and intellectual abilities. The school literacy movement is present with the aim of developing good attitudes and noble character through multiliteracy learning, increasing students' interest in reading, and having a strong impact on student development. This community service activity is carried out by combining several methods such as lectures, discussions, and games, through reading aloud activities. The activity was carried out in July 2024. The implementation team created a reading corner and practiced reading aloud techniques for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Pantai Mekar 03, Muaragembong. Students were asked to repeat the content of the story that was read and answer some questions related to the content of the reading. This reading aloud activity was followed by the students with enthusiasm. In addition, students are also given an understanding of the utilization of the reading corner that has been provided. Students were very enthusiastic about seeing the collection of reading books and practicing how to read aloud again. The implementation team hopes that this activity can increase students' interest in reading and make students more happy to read and understand the contents of the reading presented as an effort to improve school literacy.

PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA BERBANTUAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS IV SDN 003/IX SENAUNG

The research describes implementing the cooperative learning model of make a match type, aided by pop-up book media, to boost fourth-grade students' motivation in elementary school mathematics. Conducted as Classroom Action Research, data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentary studies at SD Negeri 003/IX Senaung. Results showed improvement across cycles: in the first cycle, meeting I, 58.3% was categorized as "low," while meeting II was 61.8% "medium"; in the second cycle, meeting I, it rose to 69.8% "high," and meeting II reached 72.1% "high." The study concludes that implementing the Make A Match model with Pop Up Book media aids in enhancing students' motivation in mathematics, aligning with research outcomes.

DESAIN DIDAKTIS UNTUK MENGATASI HAMBATAN BELAJAR SISWA SD PADA PEMAHAMAN KONSEP LUAS BANGUN DATAR

This research focused on students who faced challenges in understanding concepts of two-dimensional area. The primary cause of these learning obstacles was the lack of mastery and comprehension in mathematics. To address this, a didactical design was developed based on the principles of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model, aimed at helping students overcome these difficulties. This design was initially tested with fourth-grade students to observe their responses during the learning process. Despite some unforeseen reactions, the analysis of these initial implementations informed a revised design, which was subsequently tested again. The didactical design was divided into three sessions, each with anticipated student responses in mind. The research employed Didactical Design Research (DDR) using qualitative methods, including learning barrier tests, short fill-in lists, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and field notes for data collection. The study resulted in a didactical design that could be effectively used to improve students' understanding of two-dimensional area concepts in mathematics.

Problem-Based Learning Model Assisted by Graphic Media in Poetry Text Learning for Fourth Grade Elementary School Students

This research aims to explain the problem-based learning model assisted by graphic media in learning poetry texts for fourth-grade elementary school students, as well as the process of implementing it in learning. The research was conducted in the 2022/2023 Academic Year, Even Semester, at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Zaytun, Sandrem Village, Gantar District, Indramayu Regency, with fourth-grade students in West Java Province. This research uses the Research and Development (R&amp;D) method. The research design used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model. The steps/phases of development include: Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluation. Data collection methods include interviews, questionnaires, observations, written tests, and performance assessments. The results of the research show that the design of a problem-based learning model assisted by graphic media in learning poetry texts for fourth-grade elementary school students is a new learning model developed from a problem-based learning model associated with graphic media, making learning more meaningful. The assessment results of the learning model design and media use were 70.5%, categorized as suitable for use. The learning media expert assessment results of 80% indicate that the learning media is suitable for use. Meanwhile, based on the results of the implementation of the problem-based learning model assisted by graphic media in learning poetry texts, the assessment results were 38 out of 44, or 86.4%, indicating that the implementation of the learning model was very suitable for use. Based on the data above, it is evident that a problem-based learning model assisted by graphic media in learning poetry texts for fourth-grade elementary school students is highly needed.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Melalui Media Power Point Pada Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

The focus of the research is to advance Pancasila and Citizenship (PKN) learning on the topic of Getting to Know the Environment in grade IV of Elementary School through Power Point media. The research approach uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study involved grade IV students in the first semester at Bulakrejo 03 Elementary School, Sukoharjo District, in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, data collection and testing. The data analysis method uses comparative descriptive, namely differentiating PKN learning outcomes between cycles before using Power Point software and learning outcomes after using Power Point for two cycles. The research results can be explained that the initial value of PKN learning outcomes on the topic of Getting to Know the Environment was an average class score of 67.67 with a classical completion level of 53.33%. In cycle I, the average class score increased to 73.00 with classical completion reaching 73.33%. While in cycle II, the average class score increased to 77.00 with classical completion reaching 90.90%. The results of the study show that the use of Power Point media can improve learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship Education on the topic of Getting to Know the Surrounding Environment for fourth grade students of Bulakrejo 03 Elementary School, Sukoharjo District in the 2024/2025 academic year.

THE APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' LEARNING OUTCOMES ON SOCIAL STUDIES SUBJECTS IN GRADE IV OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL II TANJUNGSARI

This research was conducted using the classroom action research (CAR) method. The progress in learning and storytelling skills is still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria and success indicators. The study included 142 students from SDN 2 Tanjungsari, ranging from grade I to grade VI. 36 sixth-grade students were part of the sample, with an equal number of males and females. The researcher collected data using tests and observations. The research instruments were observation sheets and test sheets. The analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study showed that the students' learning outcomes in cycle I had a mastery level of 27.78%. In cycle II, there was an improvement in student learning outcomes with a mastery level of 52.78%. In cycle III, the mastery level reached 83.33%. This indicates that the students' learning outcomes had met the applied mastery criteria of 80%. The study also observed students' learning activities. In cycle I, the students' activities scored 19 with a percentage of 1.58%, which was still categorized as poor. In cycle II, there was an improvement in students' learning activities with a score of 27 and a percentage of 2.25%, categorized as moderate. In cycle III, students' learning activities had a score of 41 with a percentage of 3.42%, which was categorized as good. Research using Problem-Based Learning can enhance learning outcomes and student engagement in Social Studies for fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Tanjungsari in Indramayu District.

Peningkatan Minat Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Matematika Media Cube Net di Kelas IV SDN Dukuh Kupang II-489 Surabaya

This study was motivated by the low interest in learning of fourth grade students of SDN Dukuh Kupang II Surabaya. The objectives of this study are to: (1) describe the steps to increase students' interest in learning by using cube net learning media; (2) increase the interest in learning of grade IV students in the 2023/2024 academic year through the use of cube net learning media. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects totalling 28 fourth grade students of SDN Dukuh Kupang II Surabaya in the 2023/2024 academic year. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets, while the data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) The steps to increase interest in learning by using cube net learning media have been successfully implemented through various activities such as material delivery, group learning, data collection, working on student worksheets, and group presentations; (2) The application of cube net learning media is effective in increasing student interest in learning, seen from the increase in the average value of student interest in learning from the initial condition of 65.53 (less) to 75.37 in cycle I and 81.8 (high) in cycle II.

Spatial Variability in Relationships between Early Childhood Lead Exposure and Standardized Test Scores in Fourth Grade North Carolina Public School Students (2013-2016).

Exposure to lead during childhood is detrimental to children's health. The extent to which the association between lead exposure and elementary school academic outcomes varies across geography is not known. Estimate associations between blood lead levels (BLLs) and fourth grade standardized test scores in reading and mathematics in North Carolina using models that allow associations between BLL and test scores to vary spatially across communities. We link geocoded, individual-level, standardized test score data for North Carolina public school students in fourth grade (2013-2016) with detailed birth records and blood lead testing data retrieved from the North Carolina childhood blood lead state registry on samples typically collected at 1-6 y of age. BLLs were categorized as: (reference), , and . We then fit spatially varying coefficient models that incorporate information sharing (smoothness), across neighboring communities via a Gaussian Markov random field to provide a global estimate of the association between BLL and test scores, as well as census tract-specific estimates (i.e., spatial coefficients). Models adjusted for maternal- and child-level covariates and were fit separately for reading and math. The average BLL across the 91,706 individuals in the analysis dataset was . Individuals were distributed across 2,002 (out of 2,195) census tracts in North Carolina. In models adjusting for child sex, birth weight percentile for gestational age, and Medicaid participation as well as maternal race/ethnicity, educational attainment, marital status, and tobacco use, BLLs of , and were associated with overall lower reading test scores of [95% confidence interval (CI): , ], (, ), and (, ), respectively. For BLLs of , , and , spatial coefficients-that is, tract-specific adjustments in reading test score relative to the "global" coefficient-ranged from to 2.52, to 3.90, to 7.85, and to 4.33, respectively. Results for mathematics were similar to those for reading. The association between lead exposure and reading and mathematics test scores exhibits considerable heterogeneity across North Carolina communities. These results emphasize the need for prevention and mitigation efforts with respect to lead exposures everywhere, with special attention to locations where the cognitive impact is elevated. https://doi.org/10.1289/EHP13898.

Efektivitas Penggunaan Metode Pembelajaran LSQ Terhadap Hasil Belajar Materi Kalimat Efektif Siswa Kelas IV

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the Learning Start with a Question method on effective sentences in class IV SDN Widorokandang. This quantitative research was conducted using experimental method. This research was designed using One-group Pretest Posttest quantitative design. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The samples in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Widorokandang consisting of 14 students, consisting of 9 boys and 5 girls. Data were collected through pre-research observations, pre-research teacher and student interviews, pretest and posttest questions to measure students' writing skills and research documentation.This study used the Paired Sample T-Test test to determine whether there was an influence before and after being given treatment using the Learning Start with a Question method. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test analysis show that the significance level with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 &lt;0.05 means that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest. It can be concluded that students are able to show effective sentences, complete words, complete punctuation, compose words and write stories well after the application of the Learning Start with a Question learning method on effective sentence material for grade IV students of SDN Widorokandang.

Improving Sharaf Memorization Through Al-Bidayah Method Book

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Al-Bidayah method book in improving sharf learning for students of Madrasah Diniyah Darut Taqwa. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The sample of this study amounted to 20 fourth grade students of Madrasah Diniyah Darut Taqwa in Pasuruan. The results showed that the Al-Bidayah method book was effective in increasing the memorization of sharaf, with an increase in the average post-test score by 18.15 points compared to the pre-test score. This study successfully proved that the use of learning theory from the Al-Bidayah method book is effective in improving students' understanding of sharf science, with consistent and statistically significant results.

Effect of Learning Management Using the Orff Approach on Violin Playing Ability of Fourth-Grade Students

Background and Aims: In the past, Chinese music education exhibited characteristics of traditional transmission and indoctrination. Students were often in passive roles during their learning process, with teachers predominantly imparting knowledge and methods, neglecting student involvement in practical activities. This experimental research aimed to 1) compare violin playing ability before and after learning through learning management using the Orff approach and 2) compare violin playing ability after learning management using the Orff approach with the criteria at 70%. Methodology: This study used a cluster sampling method with 30 students as the sample. The research instruments were as follows: 1) Six lesson plans using the Orff approach 2) violin playing ability test, with a reliability of 0.78 3) a violin playing ability assessment form, with a reliability of 0.75. Data were analyzed using the statistical software program. The statistics used for data analysis are the mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent samples, and t-test for one sample. Result: After using the learning management using the Orff approach: (1) Students' academic achievements were significantly higher than before use, with a statistically significant difference of 0.05; (2) The student's academic achievements are above the 70% standard, and the difference is statistically significant at 0.05. Conclusion: Through learning management using the Orff approach, learning efficiency has been improved and the personalized learning needs of students have been met. To help students improve their performance ability and enhance their learning interest.

Print Rich Classroom: An Exposure to Learn English Language Reading Proficiency

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of print rich classroom on English language reading proficiency of fourth grade. The study utilized a randomized pretest-posttest control group design, drawn from true experimental research methods, was employed. A sample of forty fourth-grade students was randomly selected from a private school in Aroop, Gujranwala. Forty students were chosen and divided into two groups: twenty were randomly assigned to the control group and twenty to the experimental group. The control group was taught using traditional teaching methods, while the experimental group received instruction through a print-rich method. Lesson plans incorporating the print-rich method were specifically designed by the researcher for the experimental group. The control group continued with the traditional teaching method for one month. An English Language Reading Proficiency (ELRP) test was developed by the researcher to assess reading skills. The test's validity was confirmed using quantitative methods and expert opinion. Data were collected from both groups, with pre-tests and post-tests administered. The results showed that students taught using the print-rich method confirmed greater improvement in reading proficiency compared to those taught using traditional methods. The study's review clearly indicated, in light of other researchers' earlier research investigations, that this study is beneficial for English language learners that print rich classroom offers a variety of chances for students to advance their English language reading abilities both within and outside of the classroom.

The participants of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 1 Botomulyo which consisted of 28 students. Quantitative research designs were applied with test and questionnaire as the instruments to obtaining the data. Pre-test and post-test data were analysed statistically using SPSS while the questionnaire results were analysed descriptively. The result of the post-test showed that students’ scores were getting higher after learning about listening skill using material from www.123listening.com. It means that the use of material from www.123listening.com is effective in teaching listening. Whereas based on the questionnaire, most students felt very enjoyable on the learning. It implies that technology platforms can be alternative learning strategy for teachers to enhance students’ language skills and enthusiasm in learning.

Studi korelasional: Meninjau kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar berdasarkan resiliensi matematis

This study employs a quantitative correlational design using a survey method to collect data on students' critical thinking skills and mathematical resilience. The purpose of the research is to analyze and describe the relationship between mathematical resilience and the critical thinking abilities of fourth-grade students at a public elementary school in Gebang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province, involving a sample of 24 students. The study was conducted during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instruments used include a critical thinking skills test and a mathematical resilience questionnaire. Data analysis techniques employed in this study consist of descriptive and inferential statistics to examine the relationship between mathematical resilience and students' critical thinking abilities. The hypothesis tests utilized include correlation analysis, regression analysis, and regression coefficients. The findings indicate that mathematical resilience contributes to students' critical thinking skills, showing a positive relationship of moderate strength. Specifically, the regression analysis reveals that mathematical resilience accounts for 22.5% of the variance in the critical thinking abilities of the fourth-grade students.

The Effect of Using Powerpoint Media on The Ability to Solve Mathematical Problems of Flat Shapes

This study aims to determine the effect of using Powerpoint media on the ability of fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Singocandi to solve mathematical problems based on Polya's theory. Based on the results of tests and interviews, it appears that student's ability to solve mathematical problems is still lacking. This research uses quantitative methods with a survey research type. The population in this study were fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Singocandi. The sample taken in this study was all students totaling 20 students. The sampling technique was carried out using a saturated sampling technique which was. Data collection techniques included written tests, interviews, and documentation. This research design is pre-test and post-test. The analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test analysis technique. The results showed that the use of PowerPoint learning media affected the skills of solving mathematical problems on flat material, which was categorized as (1) Students in the high category who can solve problems understand, plan, implement, and check answers by Polya's steps. (2) Students in the medium category can understand the problem, make a solution plan, and implement the plan, but do not check the answer. (3) Students in the low category were unable to solve the problem according to the steps of Polya's theory.

Pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas IV SD N Randusari Yogyakarta

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS fourth grade students of SD N Randusari Yogyakarta. This research is a Pre-Experimental Design research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design design. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD N Randusari Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques in this study using tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing uses non-parametric tests, namely the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed a very significant effect with the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS fourth grade students of SD N Randusari Yogyakarta. The effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can be seen from the increase in student pretest and posttest results. The average pretest score is 66.14 while the average posttest is 83.86. The results of the hypothesis test calculation using the Mann-whitney test found Asymp. Sig of 0.000. In accordance with the decision-making rules in the Mann-whitney test that the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) &lt;0.05 or 0.000 &lt;0.05, this shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Learning outcomes increased through the average results of the pretest posttest obtained by students and the results of hypothesis testing, it was concluded that there was a very significant effect with the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on IPAS learning outcomes in fourth grade students of Randusari Yogyakarta State Elementary School.
