The formation of linguistic competence of the students lies among the most significant missions of modern primary school. Therefore, the importance of the subject UkrainianLanguage is unlikely to be overestimated, and a problem of mistakes in speech and searching for the ways of their prevention are among most topical in modern primary education. The analysis of the scientific literature on the issue allows us to draw the conclusion, that prevention and correction of mistakes must have systematic character and be inseparable from the work in language instruction in general. Its necessity results from the nature of the child’ thinking process conditioned by the laws of psychology and physiology. The aim of the article is to substantiate theoretically and describe the system of work that provides efficiency of mistake prevention in students’ writings in primary school. A special system of work is suggested at the seminal stage of the pedagogical experiment. The methodology is aimed at prevention of mistakes in the students’ coherent speech. The methodology contains the following components: the stack of selected texts and corresponding methodological support for the work at a lesson. The research allows us to make the following conclusions: the efficiency of mistake prevention will rise in written works of primary school students if the work is carefully planned and the age and individual features of the students are taken into account. The prevention of students’ mistakes improves their comprehension of various texts, assists in forming abilities to create texts, as well as the skillsto edit and analyze their own and others’ texts at the elementary level.

The authors consider the awareness of the new role of foreign language, change of purposes, contents, methods and forms that is all structure of the educational process organization that provides representations of substantial ideas of the phenomenon of "foreign language teaching". The authors esteem that the social and pedagogical technology of information culture formation is considered as actual and perspective technologies of linguistic competence formation of modern specialist model in development that is the student of nonlinguistic faculty of pedagogical higher education institution. Results suggest that the federal state educational standards of the higher education constitute a basis of the strategic social and pedagogical technologies of information culture forming in higher education institution. They act as the regulating document of a quality evaluation of specialists training and guarantee their social adaptation to the actual socio-cultural and professional conditions of activity. All disciplines included in the standard, aimed at the formation of information culture, which, of course, in varying degrees play a positive role in the linguistic competence formation, but there is the separate discipline directed to linguistic competence formation. Cross-linguistic Interactions in Bilingual Mental Lexicon and Professional Linguistic Competence Formation: An Experimental Research with Native Speakers of the Komi-Permyak and Russian Languages

The paper presents an experimental research of cross-linguistic interactions in the mental lexicon of Komi-Permyak-Russian bilingual native speakers. Cross-linguistic interactions were considered in the dynamic aspect: as depending on the participants’ professional linguistic competence formation in relation to both languages (connected with getting higher education as school teachers of the Komi-Permyak and Russian languages). The research included a sociolinguistic survey, and a free associative test with the separate Komi-Permyak and Russian stimuli lists. The test was carried out at the initial and final stages of university studies. The experimental results demonstrate that simultaneous progress in both languages’ proficiency leads to significant changes in the bilinguals’ speech behaviour, as well as in the nature of cross-linguistic interactions in their mental lexicon. The dynamics revealed concerns the 3 main factors: 1) usage frequency of both languages by bilingual speakers; 2) general frequency and direction of cross-linguistic interactions in their mental lexicon; 3) the ratio of translational and non-translational shares of cross-linguistic interactions.

Scientific terminology as a factor of linguistic competence formation

The analysis of the components of technique of linguistic competence formation (correct use of phonological components, knowledge of vocabulary, grammatical categories and paradigms, syntax rules) is given. Features of mental-linguistic essence of memorization, learning and perception as cognitive operation are examined. Scientific terminology is considered as an integral functional system, which helps to model the images of perception, decipher language codes and understand the content of professional discourse

CRITICAL THINKING TECHNOLOGY AS EFFECTIVE MEANS OF DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE MANAGERS’ LANGUAGE COMPETENCE

The aim of the study is to consider the problem of the improvement of the students-managers linguistic competence. Methods. The analysis of the features of the linguistic competence formation of the future managers with the help of critical thinking technology was used at the initial stage. The model of the organization of the effective foreign language practicals is developed by means of pedagogical simulation. The testing of the control and the experimental groups with the future statistical data processing is used to evaluate the developed model effectiveness. Results. Methods and teaching techniques are used in compliance with each stage of cognitive activity. The necessary requirements while the organization and the conducting of the foreign language practicals when critical thinking skills learning are stated. The role of the professionally-oriented foreign texts in the higher educational institutions for the critical thinking development and the improvement of the future managers’ linguistic competence is identified. Scientific novelty. A model of foreign language practicals for students of economics using the stages of cognitive activity and methods and techniques of critical thinking is developed. The dependence between the requirements for foreign language practicals and information mastery level is defined. Practical significance. The complex of foreign language practicals for students of economics increasing the level of language training is developed on the basis of theoretical survey and experimental data.
