The article scrutinizes the forms of socialization of the subject in the conditions of digital reality. The relevance of the study is determined by the rapid development of computer technologies, the movement of part of com-municative, educational and social processes to the Internet space and the complication of the socialization process in the conditions of digitalization of life. It is argued that the fluid, transitive nature of modern society gives the features of non-pronounced or mixed forms of digital socialization of the subject. The authors investi-gate the transformations occurring in the process of socialization in the context of mixing forms of social reality: the “first reality” and its technogenic digital forms. In addition, the research methodology is based on the dialec-tical approach to understanding the process of development of modern society; philosophical reflection of sub-jectivity as a property of personality activity in the conditions of digital reality; the principle of mediality in under-standing the system-structural quality of digital reality as a new environment of everyday life. The originality of the article is substantiated by the problematization of digital media convergence as a new factor transforming subjectivity in the mechanisms of socialization, generated by the conditions of modern digital society, and by putting forward the concept of “hidden subjects of socialization” in the conditions of digital reality.
