This study was conducted on the premise that in the crisis of local universites it is urgent to improve the quality of local universities and to make a turning point in exporting our advanced education through a quantitative increase in the number of foreign students. Accordingly, in order to analyze the structural relationship between the subject, environment, and resources for the promotion of Korean Wave of exporting music education, variables of subject, environment, and resource perceived by members of local universities in Korea were designed. In addition, the structural causal relationship between these variables was empirically identified. This study looked at 144 members who teach music education, music, applied music at local universities in Korea. Looking at the main research results, it was found that there was a significant positive (+) effect among the variables of subject, environment, and resources for the promotion of Korean wave exports in music education. Based on the results of the study, specific proposals for revitalizing local universities were suggested from a practical point of view. In addition, the limitations and future tasks that appeared during the study are presented.
