Efforts to Develop Tourism Village Programs in an Effort to Improve Original Village Income in Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village, Mejono Village Plemahan District, Kediri Regency

Gronjong Wariti is a village tourism that has the characteristic of providing a tourist village as an entertainment object for tourists. The development of Gronjog Wariti Tourism Village has been attempted to develop to face a number of obstacles, including the many informal tourism managers. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subjects are the Head of Mejono Village, the Head of the Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village Management Board, community leaders and residents of Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village. Interviews and observations are used in data collection. In this study, data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data and presenting data to draw conclusions. The findings of this study explain that efforts to develop Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village can be seen from the aspects of tourist objects and attractions, tourism infrastructure, tourism facilities, and management/infrastructure management, the community. In terms of tourist objects and destinations, the village government has coordinated with the people to clean and rearrange tourist objects so that they can be visited by tourists. In terms of tourism infrastructure, the management of Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village works together with the community to provide places of worship, parking lots, toilets, food stalls, souvenir shops, and others. In terms of tourism facilities, the management of Gronjong Wariti Tourism Village has collaborated with the community to provide home accommodation and transportation services for tourists. In terms of management/infrastructure, the village government has developed a regulatory system to manage and develop tourism villages. In terms of the village community, the village government has made socialization to the community and tourism managers.

The Formaldehyde, TVOCs, PM2.5 and PM10 Concentrations at Outdoor Street Food in Kalasin, Thailand

Human health and well-being are directly impacted by air quality. Cardiovascular and respiratory problems have been linked to exposure to pollutants such as formaldehyde, total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), and particulate matter 2.5 and 10 micrometers (PM2.5 and PM10). This study aimed to quantify formaldehyde, TVOCs, PM2.5, and PM10 levels in the outdoor air at street food vendors in Kalasin, Thailand. The study was conducted at street food vendors in the province of Kalasin. Formaldehyde values at the top five food stalls in Kalasin ranged from 0.58 to 1.41 mg/m3. The PM2.5 values ranged from 2.29 to 9.43 ug/m3, and the TVOC values ranged from 2.91 to 7.02 ug/m3, with PM10 concentrations ranging from 2.86 to 7.29 ug/m3. Drawing on data about these pollutant concentrations across five distinct locations, the following recommendations can be put forth: Elevated levels of formaldehyde, TVOCs, PM2.5, and PM10 in certain areas can have detrimental effects on the environment and human well-being.

Strategy for The Development of Culinary Sector Entrepreneurs in The Cipondoh Lake Tourism Destination, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province

This study aims to determine the strategy for developing entrepreneurship in the culinary field in the tourist area of ​​Lake Cipondoh. This type of research uses a qualitative description with the SWOT analysis method with observations and interviews with entrepreneurs in the culinary field at Lake Cipondoh. The results showed that the primary strategy produced was the SO strategy, with the highest score of 3.44 in quadrant I. The culinary entrepreneur development strategy at Lake Cipondoh can be implemented with the SO strategy program, namely: (1) a varied food menu; (2) Doing promotions on social media; (3) Increasing the number of employees on weekends; (4) Providing promotions or discounts. It is hoped that food stalls in Lake Cipondoh will continue to innovate in improving the quality of their products and promoting them on social media. The Tangerang City Government is expected to train managers and entrepreneurs on the quality of human resources for creating websites and social media promotions and organizing certain events at Lake Cipondoh. Effectiveness of Financial Literacy in interest in using QRIS application regarding the challenges of entrepreneurship

This research aims to determine the influence of financial literacy on interest in using QRIS on entrepreneurial behavior. The Indonesian Standard QRIS Quick Response Code service supports payment processes from bank and non-bank providers used in the community, making transactions easier. This payment system via QRIS can not only be done in large shopping centers but can also be used in food stalls, tourist attractions, street vendors, even people's markets or traditional markets if they use the QRIS logo. The data source used is primary data with a total of 50 respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. From the test results, the results of this research analysis are in accordance with the proposed hypothesis and the direction of the coefficient is consistent, namely a positive effect of 3.058 with a significance of 0.004 which is supported by the data, so it can be concluded that the financial literacy variable has an influence on entrepreneurial behavior, so that an increase of 3.0% will resulting in an increase in the use of MSMEs in entrepreneurial behavior

COVID-19’S IMPACT ON FOOD STALL WORKERS: NIGHT MARKETS’ RESILIENCE IN PENANG, MALAYSIA

The COVID-19 pandemic has left an enduring mark on Southeast Asia, with lasting repercussions on financial markets, employment, and gender equality in the workplace. Various activities were halted in order to curb the virus’s spread, which dealt a severe blow to Malaysia’s thriving economy. The informal sector, a cornerstone of the Asia-Pacific service industry, felt these effects acutely, as it heavily relies on informal workers. Given that more than three quarters of Malaysia’s service sector comprises informal workers, the country’s economic recovery is now significantly reliant on this workforce. Considering the contribution of the informal sector to Malaysia’s food market, this study aims to explore the impact of social shocks and economic crises on the resilience of informal workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using a multistage probability sampling method, the study employed a questionnaire survey involving Penang’s food stalls in night markets. Findings reveal significant variations in workers’ lifestyles, attitudes, and family dynamics. Gender-related factors also exert a substantial influence on their behavior, attitudes, and engagement levels. While many studies have examined night markets as tourism spots in terms of how to increase sales or attract visitors, this study is among the first to focus on the vendors themselves, exploring the impact of COVID-19 on food stalls as an unseen vulnerable community.

Distribution Activities At The Sungai Lulut Traditional Market As A Source of Learning Social Studies

The Sungai Lulut traditional market is a market in the Banjar Regency area, specifically in the Sungai Lulut sub-district. In this market there are economic activities that can be used as a learning resource. The learning process cannot be separated from the learning resources used. One of several learning sources that can be used is the environment. With regard to the environment, there is economic activity from the distribution around students that can be used as a learning resource in social studies learning. Learning resources that utilize existing economic activities in the market are still not optimally used by teachers because there are obstacles such as limited time, remote locations and inadequate facilities, even though they are very effective if used as learning resources. This research aims to describe the economic activities of distribution activities in the Sungai Lulut traditional market as a social studies learning resource. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The data validity test used is triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The research results show that distribution activities in the Sungai Lulut traditional market are through direct and indirect distribution. Direct distribution, for example, risol traders and food stalls in the Sungai Lulut traditional market. This distribution activity is suitable for social studies learning as a learning resource for economic activity material, namely production, distribution and consumption at the even seventh semester grade junior high school level.

Pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai Upaya Pengelolaan Limbah Plastik dan Pelestarian Lingkungan di Desa Rejosari Kecamatan Kangkung Kabupaten Kendal

Plastic waste is a common problem in all regions of Indonesia. As one of the largest contributors to plastic waste in the world, Indonesia faces a major challenge in plastic waste management. One creative solution that is gaining popularity is ecobricking, an environmentally friendly plastic waste management technique that turns plastic waste into strong and durable “bricks”. This research uses a qualitative method in the process, where data is taken through direct observation in the Rejosari village environment, experiment, as well as literature studies from books, journal articles, and other archives. Through the KKN work program, 84 ecobricks were successfully made by collecting plastic waste from grocery stores, food stalls, and markets. Approximately 7 kg of plastic waste has been absorbed for the needs of ecobricking. Overall, ecobricks have great potential in reducing plastic waste, increasing community awareness of the importance of waste management, as an environmental conservation effort, while supporting local economic empowerment.

Addressing Environmental, Economic and Social Impact Mining Companies on Taliabu Island, North Maluku

The fundamental characteristic of the iron ore mining industry is clearing land and changing the natural landscape so that it has the potential to have an impact on the environment, social and economic aspects of society. This research was conducted to determine the environmental, social and economic impacts on the people of Taliabu Island Village. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study method. The conclusion of this research is that the environmental impact caused by mining in the Taliabu Island Village area can still be overcome by the company by replanting trees in places where mining has been completed and the company even provides signs along roads and dangerous areas so that the community is protected from these environmental impacts. . The company can also overcome the social impacts that arise by providing equal career development opportunities for local employees and migrant employees so that social jealousy does not occur and economic welfare increases for the people of Taliabu Island Village. The community's economy has improved with the opportunity to work as company employees and the emergence of many food stalls, daily necessities stalls and even entertainment venues where previously the community had a source of income from clove and head plantations. The company also establishes a family relationship between the village head and all members of the community so that the impact, no matter how small, can still be overcome because all levels of society have a sense of ownership of the company and the benefits of the company are greatly felt.

In a business, business success is something that needs to be considered because it is important for business people and is directly related to the economy of society as a whole. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of knowledge management and entrepreneurial orientation on the success of the Ramesan food stall MSME business in the city of Salatiga. The research is quantitative and uses descriptive research. The population is 80 SME business people in Ramesan food stalls around the city of Salatiga. The number of samples used in this research is the same as the population sampled through purposive sampling, and has been selected based on criteria. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The research results reveal that the variables knowledge management and entrepreneurial orientations partially have a positive effect on the success of the Ramesan Food Stall business in Salatiga City. Sustainable Biodiesel Production from Waste Cooking Oil and Crude Palm Oil Using a Custom Mini Pilot Plant

The widespread practice of reusing Waste Cooking Oil (WCO) in hawker food stalls, often for multiple frying cycles, presents a significant public health concern due to the degradation of the oil, which can lead to the formation of toxic compounds. These practices not only pose health risks, such as increasing the potential for cardiovascular diseases and cancer, but also contribute to environmental pollution when the oil is improperly disposed of. This study seeks to address these issues by converting WCO, along with crude palm oil (CPO), into biodiesel using a custom-designed mini pilot plant. The biodiesel production process involved a two-step reaction. The first step, esterification, was conducted using a 55:100 alcohol-to-oil volume ratio with 1% by volume sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) as the acid catalyst, at 60°C, with a reaction time of 30 minutes and a stirring speed of 800 rpm. The second step, transesterification, utilized a 6:1 alcohol-to-oil molar ratio, with 1 wt.% sodium hydroxide (NaOH) as the alkaline catalyst, carried out at 70°C over the course of one hour. These conditions were carefully selected to optimize the conversion efficiency and to minimize the free fatty acid content, which is crucial for achieving a high yield of biodiesel. The results demonstrated that the mini pilot plant is highly effective in producing biodiesel from both WCO and CPO. The study also led to the development of a standard operating procedure (SOP) for the biodiesel production process, ensuring reproducibility and efficiency.

Optimizing Coziness and Productivity: An All-Encompassing Ergonomic Investigation on Diners and Restaurant Operators in Dense Urban Living Environments

This research aims to determine and optimize the welfare of visitors and food stall owners in dense urban environments, especially in the context of dense residential areas in big cities. As ergonomics research, its main focus is to assess the physical and psychological conditions of visitors and food stall owners operating in dense urban environments. This research method involves a detailed analysis of ergonomic aspects, including room layout, furniture design, lighting and acoustics, taking into account the unique demands of dense housing. In addition, in-depth interviews with food stall owners and observations of visitor behavior were conducted to understand the non-physical aspects that influence their well-being. The research location is in the Paseban area, Central Jakarta. The results of this research provide an in-depth understanding of how environmental conditions can influence comfort and productivity in food stalls, both from the perspective of visitors and owners. The practical implications of these findings can serve as a guide for architects, designers and policy makers in improving the design of public spaces in dense urban environments, with the ultimate goal of improving the welfare of local communities. This study makes a significant contribution to our understanding of how ergonomics can be applied effectively to improve the quality of life amidst the challenges of dense housing in large cities.

ANALISIS SPASIAL BERBASIS PEMETAAN MENGGUNAKAN GEOGRAPHICALLY WEIGHTED REGRESSION (GWR) PADA SEBARAN JUMLAH WISMA DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT

This research aims to analyze the effect of population density, number of food stalls, and population on the number of homesteads using the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) model. GWR modeling is carried out based on spatial data using secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). First, multiple linear regression analysis was carried out to evaluate the relationship between variables. The results of multiple linear regression show that only the variable number of food stalls has a significant effect on the number of homesteads. Next, spatial aspects were tested, including spatial autocorrelation tests and spatial heterogeneity tests. Testing spatial aspects shows the existence of spatial autocorrelation and spatial heterogeneity in the data. Therefore, we continued with GWR modeling to obtain a more in-depth picture of the distribution of the number of homesteads in West Lombok Regency. The results of modeling with GWR show that the variables used have a spatially varying influence throughout the West Lombok Regency area. Mapping GWR results produces better modeling of the factors that influence the number of homesteads in each village. A comparison between the multiple linear regression model and the GWR shows that the GWR model is able to explain variations in the number of homesteads with a higher R-square and a smaller AIC value

The Impact of Industrial Activities of PT. JHONLIN Batu Mandiri on Socio-Economic Changes in the Community of Watu Watu Village, Lantari Jaya District, Bombana Regency

This study aims to describe and determine the social impact and economic impact of industrial activities of PT. Jhonlin Batu Mandiri to the community in Watu Watu Village, Lantasari Jaya District, Bombana Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach, the informants in the study amounted to 8 people who were selected by the purposive sampling technique, the data in the study was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation studies, the data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively with an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results in this study show that 1) Social Impact The presence of industrial companies has increased the level of public education due to the minimum work requirement of a high school diploma. However, the negative impact is environmental pollution that affects public health. Nevertheless, housing conditions have met welfare indicators. Conflicts between local communities and immigrants occur due to misunderstandings in communication. Social relations have also undergone changes, where people tend to focus more on personal efforts and only contribute financially to social activities; and 2) The economic impact of industry in Watu Watu Village is very significant. The presence of PT. Jhonlin Batu Mandiri opens new business opportunities such as boarding houses, food stalls, and restaurants. Many residents are switching from agriculture to the service sector to meet the needs of companies and their employees. Public awareness of the importance of saving is also increasing, especially for the future and children's education. The increase in consumption is evident compared to before the existence of PT. Jhonlin Batu Mandiri, with more food options tailored to income. Overall, the existence of industry has changed the economic pattern and lifestyle of the people of Watu Watu Village.

Survey on the Operation of Concessionaires and Satellite Food Stalls in Tomas Claudio Colleges

The study aimed to determine the perception of the respondents on the extent of operation of all canteens and satellite food stalls in TCC during the school year 2019-2020. The study considered two groups of respondents. These include teaching and non-teaching and students. They were chosen utilizing convenient sampling techniques. Descriptive survey research design was applied utilizing the researcher-made questionnaire checklist as a tool in gathering the needed data on the perception of the respondents on the extent of operation of concessionaires and food stalls in TCC with respect to food service management, human resource management, marketing management and safety and risk management. As evaluated by the teaching and non-teaching respondents, the overall weighted mean obtained is 3.85 interpreted as Often for food service management. Also, as evaluated by the student- respondents, the overall weighted mean obtained is 3.49 interpreted sometimes. The test for the significant difference on the extent of operation of all canteens and satellite food stalls in Tomas Claudio Colleges as perceived by the teaching and non-teaching respondents with regard to their sex, age, and educational attainment yielded a p-value higher than .05. This accepted the null hypothesis. The study concluded that the extent of operation of all canteens and satellite food stalls in Tomas Claudio Colleges has no bearing as perceived by the teaching and non-teaching respondents with regard to their sex, age, and educational attainment. It is concluded that sex, age, and educational attainment have nothing to do with the perceptions about the extent of operation of all canteens and satellite food stalls in Tomas Claudio Colleges. In addition, sex, age, and educational attainment are not factors on the perceptions of teaching and non -teaching respondents on the extent of operation of all canteens and satellite food stalls in Tomas Claudio Colleges.

Exploring Indonesian Cuisine Ethnographically: A Fusion of Heritage and Innovation Through the Lens of Local Wisdom

Background: Traditional cuisine as an ancestral cultural heritage is a marker and an inherent identity characteristic of the presence of an ethnic group in a city. The preservation and development of Indonesian culinary become the important choices to preserve the cultural heritage of foods. This research aims to find the types of preservation and development of Indonesian culinary as the cultural heritage in East Java. Methods: This research employed the ethnography approach, which was carried out in East Java, Indonesia, specifically in the cities of Surabaya, Gresik and Sidoarjo as the representation of community with the industrialist culture and coastal community using marine products as the distinctive food ingredients for the community. Result: The dynamics of culinary food stalls, such as rawon, soto, rujak cingur, penyetan and kupang lontong which produce traditional cuisine has become the attributed icons in East Java. Indonesian culinary preservation that is established in the traditional cuisine-based industry has given new hope to consolidate the populist economic sector or the small and medium enterprises, as well as providing job opportunities for the urban community. Through this preservation, Indonesian culinary can be the important part of cultural heritage as well as the distinctive identity of a city.

Infrastruktur Konektivitas, Peran Pemerintah, dan Perkembangan Sosial Ekonomi Regional: Bukti dari Kalimantan

The Island of Kalimantan, designated by the Indonesian government as the site for the new capital city, necessitates significant infrastructure improvements to support its economic development. This research evaluates the progress of the connectivity infrastructure in Kalimantan, reviews the role of the government in facilitating this development, and estimates the relationship between infrastructure and the community’s social and economic activities. The study applies descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, comparative studies, and interregional input-output methodology by utilizing various data sources including the central government budget, regional government budget, village potential data, Susenas, and Geographic Information System GIS) data. Our findings reveal increasing budgets from both central and local governments, yet limited improvements in road infrastructure. An increase in the availability of road infrastructure per km² is positively correlated with enhanced trading activities, the provision of shops, improved public transportation, and better access to education and health facilities. In addition, the establishment of airports and ports is linked to higher per capita income and increased service and manufacturing activities, as well as the growth of food stalls, shops, and banking services.

KEPUTUSAN MEMBELI KONSUMEN DI WARUNG MAKAN KAKI LIMA DI SURABAYA-INDONESIA

The tight competition between food stalls scattered in the corners of the city, on the roadside in Surabaya, requires marketers to know the factors that influence someone to buy food at street food stalls. Researchers use the factors of service quality, product, and price as determining factors for someone to make a purchase at a street food stall. The population in this study were all food buyers at street food stalls. Determination of a sample of 120 people was carried out purposively with quota sampling. The research was conducted from March 2023 to April 2023. The results of the research on service quality, products, and prices affect purchasing decisions at street food stalls.

Kehadiran Mahasiswa IAIN Kediri dalam Transformasi Nilai (Studi Kasus di Kelurahan Ngronggo dan Rejomulyo Kota Kediri)

This research aims to describe the form of presence of IAIN Kediri students in the transformation of religious, economic and cultural values ​​in Ngronggo and Rejomulyo Villages, Kediri City. Students who are considered to be the compass of transformation from the 'riotous' period of adolescence to adulthood, thinking critically-progressive-transformatively are able to impact social change, maintaining moral values ​​(guardian of values) especially in the surrounding community. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive research approach. This type of research is a case study. Namely, examining the case of the presence of IAIN Kediri students in the transformation of religious, economic and cultural values ​​in Ngronggo and Rejomulyo Villages, Kediri City objectively, critically and comprehensively. The results of this research are the transformation of values ​​provided by the presence of students in Ngronggo and Rejomulyo subdistricts, namely religion, economics and culture as follows: 1. Religion, this is proven by the large number of TPQ, Muezzin and Marbot mosques around the two villages. Economy, as evidenced by the proliferation of shops, food stalls, boarding houses, laundries, photocopiers and Islamic boarding schools. Social and Cultural, as evidenced by the activities carried out by residents, there is always involvement of students and female students. 2. The institution provides funds and activities entrusted to student organizations in order to learn about organization, community, talent, arts, etc.

Analisis Fenomena Warung Madura 24 Jam Dalam Perspektif Solidaritas dan Pembangunan Ekonomi Modern di Desa Tegalboto, Sumbersari, Jember.

24-hour Madura stalls have become part of the economic life of local communities in many cities in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the role of 24-hour Madura food stalls in strengthening local community solidarity while adapting to the dynamics of modern economic development. Warung Madura 24 hours plays an important role in strengthening local community solidarity by providing employment opportunities for local communities and being a vital place for social interaction. However, Madura stalls have their own challenges, namely competition between modern stalls and minimarkets that offer similar products on a larger scale. In our research we concluded that 24-hour Madura warungs have a significant role in strengthening local community solidarity while remaining relevant in modern economic development.
