Composition of Growing Media and Concentration of Foliar Fertilizer Affected Yield and Quality of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)

The study aimed to obtain the best combination of growing media composition and the concentration of foliar fertilizer (Gandasil B) on the yield quality of eggplant. The research was conducted from December 2022 to February 2023 in Nganjuk Regency, using a completely randomized design of two factors. The first factor was composition of the growing media, which comprised of soil:husk charcoal:cow manure with ratios of (1:1:1), (1:1:2), (1:2:1), and (2:1:1), and the second factor was the concentration of foliar fertilizer (0, 2, 4, 6 g/L). The results exhibited that the combination of (1:2:1) medium growing composition and the 2 g/L concentration of foliar fertilizer produced the best fruit diameter with an increase of 22.35% compared to the combination of growing media (1:1:1) and concentration of foliar fertilizer of 2 g/L. The composition of the soil growing medium 1:2:1 gave the best results on fruit length and diameter, average fruit weight, and total fruit weight per plant. A quadratic regression analysis of the concentration of foliar fertilizer and the number of purple eggplant fruits showed that the highest concentration of foliar fertilizer was 5.78 g/L. Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik dan Konsentrasi Pupuk Daun Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Selada Merah (Lactuca sativa L.)

This research aimed to determine the effect of applying organic fertilizer and foliar fertilizer concentration on the growth and yield of red lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.). This research used a factorial randomized block design with 2 treatment factors using 2 levels and 4 levels in 3 replications. The first factor was organic fertilizer (coffee grounds and cow biourine) and the second factor was foliar fertilizer (Gandasil D). The result of the research showed that the application of organic fertilizer (coffee grounds and cow biourine) was able to have a real influence on the height of red lettuce plants at 1 – 4 WAP, the number of leaves of red lettuce plants at 2 and 3 WAP, the length of the roots of red lettuce plants, the wet weight of the roots of red lettuce plants, and wet weight of red lettuce plants canopy. Providing foliar fertilizer (Gandasil D) was able to have a real influence on the height of red lettuce plants 3 and 4 WAP, the number of leaves of red lettuce plants at 3 and 4 WAP, the length of the roots of red lettuce plants, and the wet weight of the crown of red lettuce plants. The interaction between organic fertilizer (coffee grounds and cow biourine) and foliar fertilizer (Gandasil D) was able to have a real influence on the height of red lettuce plants at 4 WAP, the number of leaves of red lettuce plants at 1 and 2 WAP, root length of red lettuce plants, and wet weight red lettuce plant header.

Growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) due to different concentration of AB Mix nutrient and foliar fertilizer in the floating hydroponic system

Nutrient solution is one of the most essential factors in influencing the production, yield and quality of plants hydroponically. This study aimed to obtain the best concentration of AB Mix nutrients and foliar fertilizer, as well as their combination on the growth and yield of pakcoy in the Floating Hydroponic System. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh from February to March 2023. This study used a 3 x 3 factorial RCBD with two factors. The first factor was the AB Mix concentration (800, 1000, and 1200 ppm), and the second factor was foliar fertilizer concentration (0, 250 and 500 ppm). The AB Mix concentration had a very significant effect on the total and consumption part wet weight, and also it had a significant effect on the number, length and width of leaf at 4 WAP. The foliar fertilizer concentration had a very significant effect on total and consumption part wet weight, had a significant effect on plant height at 4 WAP. The best growth and yield of pakcoy plants was obtained with the combination of 1200 ppm AB Mix nutrient concentrations and 250 ppm foliar fertilizer concentration.

Spraying Technology and Foliar Application Result in a Smooth Layer of the Spray: a Literature Review

Using of foliar fertilizer application is an important issue in many crops plantation in different countries. Various studies have been conducted on this method, especially with fruits and horticulture. Few studies were performed on essential crops such as maize compared to the orchards. Concerning crops, most of these studies were performed using foliar spraying with phosphorus, and potassium, and a few attempts were carried out with foliar fertilizer during the season at different concentrations starting from the first stage of the plant. The foliar application may be sprayed with a suitable concentrate depending on the type of crop planted, growth stage, leaves age, and physicochemical properties of the sprayed liquid. As reported in the current literature, there are previous studies on this application with insufficient knowledge of mechanisms and factors governing the nutrient uptake by leaves that still need to be improved. The insufficient information about the effect of foliar fertilizer at different application rates is one of the reasons that the study focused on it, which was probably the leading cause of sometimes controversial effects with foliar fertilizers being reported. Most previous studies revealed that is necessary to apply foliar fertilizer on the plant leaves at a proper concentration and application rate compatible with the age of the crop applied. The results also indicated that a suitable concentration of foliar fertilizer no doubt leads to improved fertilizer effectiveness and can even increase plant growth activity, especially when spraying with modern technology. For an optimum both of the crop vegetative growth and yield response to foliar fertilization, it is possible to diagnose the optimum growth stage of the plant and leaf age for the starting of foliar fertilizer application related to metrological conditions such as the air temperature, and relative humidity at the time of spraying. It is necessary to recommend the crop growth stage before foliar application at a known application rate and concentration to a crop to achieve maximum efficiency at low cost as possible.

Penggunaan Konsentrasi dan Interval Penyemprotan Pupuk Daun Terhadap Produksi Benih Kacang Hijau (Vigna radiata L.)

Mung bean has an economically competitive value, namely a selling price that is more stable orhigher than other bean crops. Demand for mung bean commodities increases from year to year in line withpopulation growth and increased public awareness for nutrition and health improvements. This study aims todetermine the interaction effect of foliar fertilizer concentration and spraying interval on mung bean seedproduction. This research was conducted from September to December 2022 at the Jember State Polytechnic.This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications. The first treatment of foliarfertilizer concentration (P) consisted of 3 levels namely P0 (6g/l), P1 (8g/l) and P2 (10 g/l). The secondtreatment was the interval of foliar spraying which consisted of 3 levels, namely I1 (once every 5 days), I2(once in 10 days) and I3 (once in 15 days). The data obtained were then analyzed using the F test (ANOVA),if the results showed a significantly different effect then it was continued with the 5% level DMRT test. Theresults showed that the interaction of concentration treatment and foliar spraying intervals had a verysignificant effect on the parameter of the amount of production per hectare with the best treatment P1I3(0.655 tons), then had a significantly different effect on the parameter number of pods per plant with thehighest average P1I3 (10.67 fruit) and pod weight parameter per plant P1I1 (8.42 gram)

Growth of Zamia Leaf Cuttings (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) with the Application of Auxin Hormone and Foliar Fertilizer on Water Media

Zamioculcas zamiifolia is an ornamental aroid plant that can be propagated vegetatively through leaf, stem, and petiole cuttings. Cultivation efforts are needed to increase the viability of cuttings as well as faster root and shoot induction, one of which is by using planting media and adding ZPT. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the hormone auxin and foliar fertilizer on the growth of zamia leaf cuttings in aqueous media. The research was carried out at the Stiper Agricultural Institute, Yogyakarta, from June 1 to August 10, 2021. The method used was a factorial experiment arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is the concentration of the auxin hormone which consists of 3 levels, namely 0; 2.5; and 5 ppm. The second factor is the concentration of foliar fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0; 0.25; 0.5; and 0.75 g/l. The results showed that the 0.25 ppm auxin treatment was able to induce root elongation. Foliar fertilizers have an important influence on root formation, keeping the cuttings green, tuber induction, shoot growth percentage, and the addition of fresh weight. The most optimal concentration of foliar fertilizer is 0.5 g/l.

Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Pakcoy (Brassica campestris var. chinensis) Pada Berbagai Jenis Nutrisi dan Konsentrasi Pupuk Daun dengan Sistem Hidroponik NFT

One of the keys to successful pakcoy hydroponic cultivation is nutrition. In addition to AB Mix nutrients, sources of nutrients from single fertilizers, compound fertilizers, and foliar fertilizers can also be used as hydroponic nutrition alternatives. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of nutrient treatment and foliar fertilizer concentration, to obtain the best type of nutrition, and to obtain the best concentration of foliar fertilizer on growth and yield of pakcoy with the NFT hydroponic system. This research was carried out in greenhouse of Polihidro Farm, Lampung State Polytechnic in June-August 2022. This research used Split Plot Randomized Block Design with the main plot, namely type of nutritions consist of AB Mix 10 ml.l-1 (N1) nutrients, NPK 16 - 16 – 16 2.5 g.l-1 (N2), and nutrients ZA : TSP : KCl (1 g.l-1 : 0.5 g.l-1 : 0.5 g.l-1 ) (N3). Subplots namely foliar fertilizer concentration consist of 0.5 g.l-1 (P1), 1 g.l-1 (P2), 1.5 g.l-1 (P3), 2 g.l-1 (P4), 2.5 g.l-1 (P5), and 3 g.l -1 (P6). The results showed that there was no interaction between type of nutrient and concentration of foliar fertilizer. AB Mix Nutrition 10 ml.l-1 provides the best growth and yield for pakcoy plants. The concentration of foliar fertilizer had no significant effect on growth and yield of pakcoy.

Variable rate inorganic foliar fertilization effect on paddy leaves chlorosis, plant growth and yield performance

Foliar feeding has been growing in popularity and has been used to supplement the soil-based fertilizer applications to enhance the growth and yield of crops. However, spraying a high concentration of foliar fertilizer can cause a leaf burn effect while a low concentration of fertilizer application can show symptoms of nutrient deficiencies on the leaf. This study was conducted to determine the effect of foliar fertilization on paddy leaf chlorosis and its impact on plant growth and yield performances between variable rate application (VRA) and uniform rates of supplying the fertilizer. The experiment was performed for two planting seasons and had four nitrogen (N) treatments (50% fixed rate, 100% fixed rate, 150% fixed-rate, and VRA) that arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications. Paddy leaf chlorosis counts, plant growth (plant heights, number of tillers, number of panicle and flower), and yield performances (grain yield, number of grains, 1000-grain weight, and number of spikelets) were collected and recorded. The results showed no sign of leaf burns, however, showed chlorosis condition on the paddy leaves for all the treatments. VRA had the lowest chlorosis counts and had the highest SPAD readings at every planting stage for both planting seasons. While for plant growth performance, VRA showed moderate plant heights however had a higher number of tillers, panicle, and flowers compared to uniform rate treatments. So, VRA significantly produced more yield compared to uniform rates in both planting seasons. Therefore, foliar fertilization of VRA performed better compared to the uniform rate treatments.

Studying Chrysan’s Growth and Outcome on Planting Media’s Variation and Leave Manure

Chrysanthemum is a strategic floriculture commodity to be developed. The growth and production of flowers is influenced by many factors including growing media and fertilization. This study aims to examine the effect of variations in planting media and concentrations of foliar fertilizer on the growth and yield of chrysanthemum. The study was conducted in a Completely Randomized Block Design with three replications. Treatment of planting media consisted of cow manure: husk charcoal: bamboo leaf humus (1:1:1), cow manure: husk charcoal: cocopeat (1:1:1), and cow manure: husk charcoal. : wood sawdust compost (1:1:1). Treatment of foliar fertilizer concentrations consisted of control (0 g/l); 2 g/l; 4 g/l; and 6 g/l. The data obtained were analyzed using the F test, if there was a significant variation, then proceed with the DMRT test at ? 5%. The results showed that the planting media treatment of cow manure: husk charcoal: bamboo leaf humus, had a better effect than other media, indicated by the variables of plant height, crown diameter, stem diameter, number of branches, number of flowers, flower diameter, flower initiation time, flower coloring time, and harvest time. The application of foliar fertilizer with doses of 6 g/l, 4 g/l, and 2 g/l gave higher yields of flowers than the control. A good combination treatment for flower yields was found in the combination of cow manure: husk charcoal: bamboo leaf humus planting media and leaf fertilizer concentration of 4 g/l which produced the highest number of flowers, while for growth was the combination of cow manure : husk charcoal: bamboo leaf humus planting media and leaf fertilizer concentration 2 g/l; cow manure: husk charcoal: cocopeat and leaf fertilizer concentration of 4 g/l; as well as cow manure: husk charcoal: cocopeat and the concentration of foliar fertilizer 6 g/l which gave the higher number of leaves.

Koja Banana Plantlet Acclimatization at Various Concentrations of Foliar Fertilizer and Length of Containment

Koja is a widely known variety of bananas but the availability of high-quality seeds has not been able to meet the market demand. This problem is overcome by using tissue culture, meanwhile, the success of the culture is largely determined by the acclimatization stage or adaptation of plants from heterotrophs to autotrophs. Therefore, this study aims to determine the interaction between the concentration of foliar fertilizer and the length of containment as well as the appropriate concentration for the growth of Koja banana plantlets. This is a field experiment carried out with a 2-factors split-plot design. The main plot was the foliar fertilizer concentration namely M1 = 2 ml/L; M2 = 4 ml/L; M3 = 6 ml/L, while the subplots were the length of containment namely E1 = 10 days; E2 = 20 days; E3 = 30 days. Based on the results, there was an interaction between the concentration of foliar fertilizer 4 mL/L and the length of containment of 20 days on the height, root volume, as well as fresh and plant dry weight.

APLIKASI PUPUK DAUN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAWANG DAYAK (Eleutherine palmifolia (L.) Merr)

[APPLICATION OF LEAF FERTILIZER TO INCREASE THE GROWTH AND YIELD OF BAWANG DAYAK (Eleutherine palmifolia (L.) Merr)]. Bawang Dayak (Eleutherine palmifolia (L.) Merr) is a potential medicinal plant and required improved growth and yield through the application of appropriate fertilizers. This study aimed to increase the growth and yield of bawang Dayak by determining the optimum concentration and time interval of foliar fertilizer application. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized block design factorial. The first factor was the concentration of foliar fertilizer, consisting of 0,1, 2, and 3 g/L. The second factor was interval application of foliar fertilizer, consisting of every day, every 3 days, every 6 days, and every 9 days. The results showed that bawang Dayak did not show a significant response to foliar fertilizers. However, there was an interaction between the concentration and interval of foliar fertilizer application which had a significantly different effect on plant height. The highest plant height occurred at intervals of 3-day foliar fertilizer application with a concentration of 3 g/L. The concentration of foliar fertilizer had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, bulb fresh weight, as well as the bulb numbers. All concentrations of foliar fertilizer (0-3 g/L), and time intervals of foliar fertilizer application (1-9 days) affected the same growth and yield response of Bawang Dayak.

The Effect of Giving Bio Fertilizer and Foliar Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Celery (Apium graviolens)

This study aims to determine the effect of bio fertilizers and foliar fertilizers on growth and yield of celery (Apium graviolens). This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Amir Hamzah University, Medan, Medan Estate Village, Percut Sei Tuan District with a height of ± 25 meters above sea level, which was conducted from May to July 2020. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors studied, namely the first factor was the concentration of bio fertilizer Impro Tanotec (H), which consisted of 4 levels, namely H0 (0 ml/l water), H1 (1,5 ml/l water), H2 (2,5 ml/l water), H3 (3,5 ml/l water), and the second factor is the concentration of foliar fertilizer Growmore (D) which consists of 4 levels, namely D0 (0 gr/lwater), D1 (1 gr/l water), D2 (2 gr/l water), and D3 (3 gr/l water). Parameters observed included plant height (cm), number of leaves, number of stalks, root length (cm), and fresh weight per plant. (gr). The results showed that the concentration of bio fertilizer had a very significant effect on plant height at the age of 20, 40, and 60 days after planting, the number of leaves at the age of 20, 40, and 60 days after planting, the number of stalks at the age of 40 and 60 days after planting, root length, and fresh weight per plant, but did not significantly affect the number of stalks at the age of 20 days after planting. The best bio-fertilizer concentration was obtained in the H3 treatment (3.5 ml/l water). The concentration of foliar fertilizer had a very significant effect on plant height at the age of 20, 40, and 60 days after planting, the number of leaves at the age of 20, 40, and 60 days after planting, the number of stalks at the age of 40 and 60 days after planting, and the fresh weight per plant, had a significant effect on root length, and had no significant effect on the number of stalks at the age of 20 days after planting. The best foliar fertilizer concentration was obtained in D3 treatment (3 gr/l water). The interaction between the concentration of bio fertilizer and foliar fertilizers had a significant effect on the number of leaves at the age of 40 and 60 days after planting, where the best treatment combination was obtained in the H3D3 treatment (bio fertilizer concentration 3.5 ml/l water and foliar fertilizer concentration 3 gr/l water).

Pembungaan Kembali Tanaman Mawar (Rosa SP.) Sebagai Tanaman Taman Melalui Pemangkasan dan Pemberian Pupuk

Roses is one of popular and widely cultivated commodities in Indonesia. Based on usefulness, roses can be classified into cut flowers, potted flowers and garden elements. Roses used as garden ornamental plants because it is able to improve aesthetics of garden and create comfortable atmosphere for visitors garden. The purposes of the research was to study the effect and obtain the level of pruning and appropriate concentration of foliar fertilizer for growth and flowering of roses. The hypothesis of the research were to get influence and get right level of pruning and foliar fertilizer concentration that can increase growth and flowering of roses. The research was conducted in March to June 2018 at Venus Orchid and Nursery, Malang. Split Plot Design with 3 repetition, foliar fertilizer as main plot and prunning as sub plot. Parameters observed included growth and flowering roses. Growth variables include number of shoots (shoots), length of branches (cm), time of budding (hsp), number of leaves (strands), and leaf area (cm 2 ). Flowering variables include the number of flowers (flower per plant), the length of the stalk flower (cm), the diameter of the flower (cm), time of flowering (hsp), time of blooming (hsp), and vase life (day). The results showed that 1500 ppm concentration of foliar fertilizer with hard pinch 1 pruning was able to increase 34.47% of the branch length, accelerate the emergence of branch buds 70 days, increase 3.66 flowers and accelerate 14.16 days when flowering on roses compared to treatments without pruning and foliar fertilizer

Growing Caisim (Brassica juncea L.) Using Elaeisponic Production System

Elaeisponic is new introducing growing technique to produce vegetables by planting it in the frond based of oil palm trees (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). However, there was no previous report on vegetable production by using elaeisponic production system, including the use of foliar fertilizers. This study aimed to determine the optimum consentrations and frequency of foliar fertilization for caisim grown in elaesisponic production system. An experiment was conducted in oil palm plantation area by using a factorial randomized complete block design with three replicates. The first factor of treatment consisted of three levels of foliar fertilizer concentration, 1 g l-1, 2 g l-1 and 3 g l-1, and the second factor was application frequency of foliar fertilizer, 7 days after transplanting (DAT), 7, 14 DAT and 7, 14, 21 DAT. Crop responses were determined on leaf greenness (SPAD index), shoot fresh weight (g), root fresh weight (g), leaf area (cm2) and plant dry weight. Results indicated that both concentration of foliar fertilizer and frequency of application as wells as its interaction did not significatly affect leaf greenness, leaf area, shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight and plant dry weight of caisim plants. Further research should be addressed on optimizing the use of palm oil frond bases as growing medium for vegetable production. Effect Times Number of Spray and Concentration of Foliar Fertilizer (PIO20) in Growth and Yield of Cucumber Variety Jamila Planted in Plastic Houses Conditions

The experiment was conducted during a season of 2016 in plastic houses at Azawia- Babylon to study effect times number of spray (two times، three times ) with four levels of spray by foliar nutrition PIO20 (0 ،1.5 ، 2 ،2.5 ml. liter-1) in cucumber plant c.v. jamila. The experiment was conducted of factorial in design using (C.R.D) with three replicates. Results showed the treatment spray of three times significantly on the treatment spray two times when imported plant length rate (291.4) cm ,the number of leaves (36.63) leaf and dry weight of the shoot (25.76) gm , fruit long (17.98) cm , fruit weight (109.27) gm and the number of fruits (11.80) fruit.plant-1 and the one plant yield (1.294)kg. the results also showed all the treatment of spray significantly in vegetative growth and fruiting characteristics as compared with control treatment. the results of the interaction the significant superiority of the treatment spray of three times on the level 2 ml. liter-1 plant length rate (311.3) cm ,the number of leaves (40.71) leaf and dry weight of the shoot (32.09) gm , fruit long (19.34) cm , fruit weight (116.06) gm and the number of fruits (12.97) fruit.plant-1 and the one plant yield (1.506)kg.

Evaluation of mother corm weights and foliar fertilizer levels on saffron (Crocus sativus L.) growth and yield components

This study evaluated the influence of three corm weight grades, <5g, 5–10g and >10g, and five levels (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20%) of Dalfard 15® foliar spraying (specific fertilizer for saffron farms in Iran containing 12% N as NO3−, 8% P, 4% K, 2000mgL−1 iron chelate, 1000mgL−1 Zn, 1000mgL−1 Mg and 500mgL−1 Cu) on growth and yield criteria of saffron (Crocus sativus L.). For this purpose, an experiment as a factorial layout based on randomized complete block design with four replications was conducted in Research Greenhouse Area of College of Agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran during 2008–2010. The result showed that the mother corm weight grades, different levels of foliar fertilizer and their interactions had significant effects on saffron yield components. The highest amount of fresh weight of flower (35.44gm−2) and dry weight of stigma (0.36gm−2) were obtained by mother corms 5–10g and 15% concentration of foliar fertilizer. Daughter corm number increased significantly (241%) by using 15% concentration of foliar fertilizer and mother corm 5–10g compared with using mother corm <5g with no fertilizer spraying. The fresh weight of flowers from mother corms <5g under 20% concentration of foliar fertilizer was statistically the same as the fresh weight of flowers from mother corms 5–10g and >10g with 10% concentration of foliar fertilizer. Totaling, 15% concentration of foliar fertilizer and 5–10g mother corms were the most favorable condition for the entire vegetative and reproductive traits of saffron in this study.

Respon Bibit Salak Terhadap Pemberian Pupuk Daun

The availability of high rate of transplanting succes is very important for early growth of snakefruit. An experiment aimed to identify both optimal concentration and frequency of foliar fertilizer application on growthof snakefruit during nursery. The experiment was conducted in Pondok Kelapa, Bengkulu Tengah, from August to October 2008. Concentration and frequency treatments were arranged in a Split Plot base on a Randomized Complete Block Design. Spraying frequency (weekly, two-weekly or three-weekly) were used as the main plot;whereas, concentration of liquid nutrient Hyponex Merah with composition of 25:5:20-N:P:K, consisted of 0, 2, 4 and 6 g L-1 water, was the sub-plot Results demonstrated that concentration of liquid nutrient significantlyaffected seedling growth with optimum concentration for plant height was 4.6 g L-1, the greatest leaf number was 39 g L-1, the largest leaf area was 4.1 g L-1, the greatest stomata number was 4.2 g L-1, the greatest chlorophyl content was 3.9 g L-1 and seedling dry weight was 4.6 g L-1. Both frequency and its combination with concentration of foliar fertilizer had no significant effects on the growth snake fruit seedlings

Herbage Production and Quality of Shrub Indigofera Treated by Different Concentration of Foliar Fertilizer

A field experiment on fodder legume Indigofera sp. was conducted to investigate the effects of foliar fertilizer concentration on forage yield and quality, and to identify optimum concentrations among the fertilizer treatments on herbage yield, chemical composition (CP, NDF, ADF, minerals), and in vitro dry matter (IVDMD) as wll as organic matter (IVOMD) digestibility in goat's rumen. Randomized block design was used for the six concentration of fertilizer treatments; control, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 g/10 l with 3 replicates. Leaves were sprayed with foliar fertilizer at 30, 34, 38, and 42 days after harvest. Samples were collected at 2 harvest times with 60 days cutting interval. Application of the foliar fertilizer up to 30 g/10 l significantly increased herbage DM yield, twig numbers, tannin, saponin, Ca and P content, as well as herbage digestibility (IVDMD and IVOMD). The lower and higher concentration of foliar fertilizer resulted in lower value of those parameters, but NDF and ADF contents had the opposite patterns. The optimum level of foliar fertilizer that resulted the highest herbage yield and quality was 30 g/10 l, and the highest in vitro digestibility and Ca concentration was 20 g/10 l.
