Heat, mass transfer, and non-Newtonian fluid flow processes have gained significant interest in various industrial applications due to their substantial significance in the fields of technology, engineering, and science. The aforementioned processes hold significance in the context of polymer solutions, porous industrial materials, ceramic processing, oil recovery, and fluid beds. This study aims to investigate the impact of temperature-dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity on the cilia-driven flow of tangent hyperbolic fluid with mass and heat transfer. The objectives include analyzing how these variable properties affect the velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles within the fluid flow, thereby providing insights into potential applications in bioenergy systems and enhancing the understanding of non-Newtonian fluid dynamics. Viscous dissipation has been taken into consideration. Firstly, governing nonlinear coupled equations are solved in a fixed frame, and then the results are tracked in the wave frame. MATHEMATICA's NDSolve command is utilized to graphically discuss the findings for several different flow parameters. Analytically stated, solving a problem with such a coupled and nonlinear system is tough. The effect of new parameters is discussed on velocity and temperature profile and graphically shown. It has been observed that the thermal conductivity is improved at moderately low temperatures, whereas the opposite pattern is seen at comparatively high temperatures. On the other hand, the temperature distribution demonstrates a behaviour consistent with lowering as the number of heat Bolus increases. The findings that were provided offer beneficial insight into bioenergy systems and serve as a helpful benchmark for both experimental and extra-progressive computational Multiphysics models.

Efficient numerical modeling of time-fractal tangent hyperbolic fluid flow with heat and mass transfer

This paper introduces a precise method for solving time-fractal parabolic equations specifically designed to represent complex physical phenomena using fractal calculus. The suggested technique attains third-order accuracy by utilizing the fractal Taylor series and implements a concise scheme for spatial discretization. Stability and convergence analyses are offered for scalar and system fractal parabolic equations. The mathematical model analyzes fluid flow over both flat and oscillatory surfaces, considering the effects of heat and mass transfer. This involves transforming the governing equations into dimensionless partial differential equations, which are then solved using the suggested method. From the calculated results, it can be verified that the proposed scheme produces less error than the existing two schemes. This study enhances computational techniques for fractal calculus and introduces novel opportunities for comprehending non-Newtonian fluids in diverse physical contexts.

In this paper, we showed the computer solutions for the Flow of Poiseuille of (MHD) hyperbolic tangent impossible-to-compress fluid Amid a pair of parallel slabs that are sloped at an angle utilizing a uniformly porous medium. Heat transfer attempts and slip boundary conditions are taken into account. In the energy equation, radiation, joule heating, and viscous dissipation are also accounted for. It is presented in a cartesian coordinate system that supplies the model of the governing equations of the hyperbolic tangent fluid flow. The equations of velocity and Temperature are solved numerically by using "ND solver built". The effects of different factors such that Hartmann number, Darcy number, slip parameter, Grashof number, Brinkman number, radiation parameter and others on velocity and temperature profiles are explored and presented in the Mathematica program. It is noticed that the profiles of velocity and Temperature are an increasing function of Darcy number, slip parameter, Grashof number, inclination angle, pressure gradient, Brinkman number, radiation parameter, and index-power parameter while they are a decreasing function of Hartmann and Weissenberg numbers. The research intends to improve our understanding of the thermal behavior of hyperbolic tangent fluids in practical applications by studying the combined effects of viscous dissipation and Joule heating on the Poiseuille flow. The potential ramifications of this phenomenon extend to multiple domains, encompassing engineering, materials science, and fluid dynamics.

Numerical simulation of the flow of a tangent hyperbolic fluid over a stretching sheet within a porous medium, accounting for slip conditions

This study aims to explore the characteristics of tangent hyperbolic fluid flow along a stretching sheet. The sheet has suction or injection influences and is located inside a porous medium. The research inspects the flow and heat transfer (FHT) properties, taking into account the presence of a velocity slip condition. The flow of non-Newtonian magnetohydrodynamic fluid caused by a porous stretching sheet, taking into account thermal radiation and heat generation, has a wide range of engineering applications. These applications involve chemical reactors, energy distribution, storage of solar energy, and filtration processes. Mathematically, the flow problem is expressed as a collection of nonlinear partial differential equations. To numerically solve the resulting ODEs, the finite difference approach (FDM) is successfully used. Tables and graphs are used to display the various output values related to the hyperbolic tangent fluid. Among the different output values that appear are velocity and temperature. Significant observations from the study indicate that an increase in the power-law index, slip velocity parameter, porosity parameter, and magnetic number results in a decrease in the fluid's velocity and an increase in temperature. The completed comparison analysis shows a sizable degree of agreement with the earlier investigation.

Lie group and stability analysis of tangent hyperbolic fluid flow driven by a shrinking sheet

This study elaborates on the mathematical modeling of tangent hyperbolic fluid flow driven by a shrinking sheet in a porous medium. The roles of Soret-Dufour and thermal radiation are considered to model the energy and concentration equations. The primary objective is to find an appropriate similarity transformation through Lie group analysis, which helps to produce the self-similar equations from the governing nonlinear partial systems. The similarity solutions are calculated numerically using the “bvp4c” solver in Matlab. Additionally, adequate suction is required to obtain the similarity solutions. As expected, dual solutions are found within a certain range of the suction parameter. The skin friction coefficient, heat, and mass transfer rates at the sheet are observed for pertinent flow constraints of physical interest. It reveals that the dual solutions bifurcate from a critical point, and beyond this point, no solution exists. Furthermore, the branches of dual solutions on the nondimensional velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles depict different characteristics. Thus, a linear temporal stability analysis has been employed to test the flow stability, revealing that the upper branch is physically reliable. The heat transfer rate increases by 7.69% and 9.55% in the upper and lower branches, respectively, for Soret parameter changes from 0.6 to 0.9. Meanwhile, the mass transfer rate decreases by 85.30% and 324.60% in the upper and lower branches, respectively. The consequences of Weissenberg and suction parameters show an opposite character on the velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles in the upper branch.

INSIGHT INTO THE IMPACT OF MELTING HEAT TRANSFER AND MHD ON STAGNATION POINT FLOW OF TANGENT HYPERBOLIC FLUID OVER A POROUS ROTATING DISK

Melting heat transfer plays a crucial role in many industrial devices, including heat exchangers, air conditioning, and metal casting. Considering these uses the heat transmission in three-dimensional tangent hyperbolic fluid flow is evaluated. The effects of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), Ohmic heating, porous medium and melting heat transfer at the boundary are applied to the stretching rotating disk. The governing equations are transformed into a nondimensional form after applying a similarity transformation. The simplified ordinary differential equations contain various dimensionless terms, and the results of these variables are obtained by the bvp4c method. The graphical and tabular results for existing parameters are displayed. For the validation of our results, a comparison is done. From the outcomes, it is noticed that velocity and temperature profiles are enhanced with melting heat transfer at the boundary. The porosity parameter reduces the velocity of the tangent hyperbolic fluid. Moreover, the Eckert number demonstrates the dual nature of temperature profiles.

Artificial intelligence (AI) based neural networks for a magnetized surface subject to tangent hyperbolic fluid flow with multiple slip boundary conditions

<abstract> <p>In this paper, the Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation scheme is used to develop a neural network model for the examination of the fluid flow on a magnetized flat surface with slip boundaries. The tangent hyperbolic fluid is considered along with heat generation, velocity, and thermal slip effects at the surface. The problem is modelled in terms of a non-linear differential system and Lie symmetry is used to get the scaling group of transformation. The order reduction of differential equations is done by using Lie transformation. The reduced system is solved by the shooting method. The surface quantity, namely skin friction, is evaluated at the surface for the absence and presence of an externally applied magnetic field. A total of 88 sample values are estimated for developing an artificial neural network model to predict skin friction coefficient (SFC). Weissenberg number, magnetic field parameter, and power law index are considered three inputs in the first layer, while 10 neurons are taken in the hidden layer. 62 (70%), 13 (15%), and 13 (15%) samples are used for training, validation, and testing, respectively. The Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation is used to train the network by entertaining the random 62 sample values. Both mean square error and regression analysis are used to check the performance of the developed neural networking model. The SFC is noticed to be high at a magnetized surface for power law index and Weissenberg number.</p> </abstract>

Exploring the features of Von-Karman flow of tangent hyperbolic fluid over a radially stretching disk subject to heating due to porous media and viscous heating

The fluid flow over rotating disk has various applications in the field of medical sciences, science and engineering i.e. medical equipment, gas turbine rotors, rheometers, oceanic circulation, and computer storage devices. Keeping this in mind, the task of this study is to observe the tangent hyperbolic fluid flow behaviors through a rotating disk in the presence of Ohmic heating, thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and heating due to porous media. The bvp4c numerical method is applied to solve the transformed governing equations. The impact of acting parameters i.e. magnetic field, porosity parameter, radiation, Weissenberg number and Eckert number on the velocities (radial, azimuthal and axial) and temperature distributions are revealed through graphs for the case of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids by considering no rotation ([Formula: see text]) and rotation parameter ([Formula: see text]). From the results, it is noticed that the resistivity offered by the increasing porosity increases the rate of heat transfer in magnitude for the case of no rotation while in case of rotation, it retards significantly. For the validation of this study, a comparison of our results with previous published work is conducted.

Numerical simulation for thermal radiative flow of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid due to Riga plate in the presence of joule heating

In this paper, numerical simulation for the two-dimensional flow of tangent hyperbolic fluid in the manifestation of nanoparticles, heat source and joule heating is considered. For motivation of problem, the role of Riga plate is investigated. Chemical reaction and Brownian motion are the parts of the analysis. The set of PDEs of Tangent hyperbolic nanofluids with swimming germs is converted in to couple of ODEs by employing well-known approach namely shooting scheme. The resulting highly nonlinear and coupled ODEs are solved by using ND solve tool of Wolfram Mathematica 11. Numerical outcome of involving parameters of interest like Lewis number Le, Prandtl number Pr, Chemical diffusion k, Peclet number Pe, Weissenberg number We, Bioconvection Lewis number Lb, nonlinear radiation, Biot number Bi, modified Hartmann number Q and magnetic parameter M on tangent hyperbolic nanofluids velocity f″, temperature θ, concentration φ and density of germs distribution are discussed in the form of graphical trend and tables. We professed that the speed of fluid degenerated for the increasing value of power-law index n and magnetic parameter M. The Nusselt number growths for growing values of the thermophoresis parameter Nt, Biot number Bi and radiation parameter Nr.

Concentration and Thermal Analysis of immiscible Tangent hyperbolic fluid with distinct viscosity through horizontal asymmetric channel: Theoretical and Observational study

This study examines cilia induced Tangent hyperbolic fluid flow with distinct viscosity, density in addition to thermal conductivity through horizontal asymmetric channel in two adjacent layers. The impact of mass and heat transfer in two adjacent layers with continuity at the interface is considered. The governing equations for double-layer fluid flow was modelled and simplified via well-known approximation long wavelength and small Reynolds number. The subsequent equations with boundary conditions provide exact solution for the velocity profile, temperature field and concentration distribution in both layers. The outcomes of occurring parameters on temperature, velocity and concentration field are explained graphically. The major findings show that velocity field and temperature field are extreme in internal fluid layer and concentration distribution is highest at external fluid layers. In both the layers by rising viscosities, thermal conductivities, fluid parameters and temperature profile increases. Potential applications for the current work include mucus clearance from respiratory tract, microfluidics, oesophageal transport, bio fluid mechanism and other fields of physiology.

The study explores to analyze the problem of peristaltic mechanism of tangent hyperbolic fluid through porous medium in an asymmetric channel. The two-dimensional peristaltic flow of hyperbolic tangent fluid in an asymmetric channel through porous medium is analyzed under the long wavelength and low Reynolds number assumptions. The flow is investigated in a wave frame of reference moving with velocity of the wave. The perturbation series is used to obtain the solution for stream function, pressure gradient and pressure rise. The results were studied for different values of the physical parameters of the problem and illustrated graphically. It is observed that pressure rise diminishes for the larger values of Darcy number. Pressure gradient decreases for increment in Darcy number. Hyperbolic tangent fluid model anticipates the shear thinning phenomenon very accurately and are being used mostly in laboratory experiments and industries.

MHD Thermal and Solutal Stratified Stagnation Flow of Tangent Hyperbolic Fluid Induced by Stretching Cylinder with Dual Convection

The magneto-hydrodynamic dual convection stagnation flow pattern behavior of a Tangent Hyperbolic (TH) fluid has been reported in this study. The radiation, Joule heating, and heat generation/absorption impacts have also been analyzed. The flow-narrating differential equations, which are constrained by a thermal and solutal stratified porous medium, are transmuted into a system of nonlinear differential equations. To provide a numerical solution to the flow problem, a computational model is created. Numerical solutions are obtained using the fifth-order exactness program (Bvp5c), and for validation of the results, a comparison is also made with the methodology of the Runge–Kutta fourth order. The physical implications are appraised and depicted using diagrams or tables against flow-controlling parameters, such as Hartmann number, porosity parameter, solutal stratification, the parameter of curvature, temperature stratification, local Weissenberg number, Schmidt number, etc. It has been observed that in the appearance of Joule heating phenomena, the fluid temperature is a lowering function of thermal stratification. The findings are compared to the existing literature and found to be consistent with earlier research.

Tangent Hyperbolic Fluid Flow under Condition of Divergent Channel in the Presence of Porous Medium with Suction/Blowing and Heat Source: Emergence of the Boundary Layer

A boundary layer’s appearance in a diverging permeable channel for a non‐Newtonian hyperbolic tangent fluid with heat transfer in the availability of a heat source and suction or injection is investigated. It is obtained that mass suction is an expression of the Hartmann number, porosity parameter, and power law index parameter, and when it surpasses a specific quantity, flow within a boundary layer is conceivable. “Bvp4c,” a MATLAB solver, is used to obtain numerical solutions of flow problem, and for validation of results obtained via Bvp4c, a comparison is made with the methodology of the Runge–Kutta fourth order. As the Weissenberg number enhances, flow in a boundary layer decreases. Furthermore, radiation and heat source parameters have a significant influence on the overall temperature pattern, and as the findings, the thermal boundary layer enhances.

Effect of Coriolis and buoyancy forces on three-dimensional flow of chemically reactive tangent hyperbolic fluid subject to variable viscosity

Thermophoresis effect has wide range of applications in electro-static precipitators and in biology for calculating single biological macro molecules, such as genomic-length DNA and HIV virus in the micro channels. Current study deal with effects of Coriolis and buoyancy forces on the three-dimensional boundary layer flow of tangent hyperbolic fluid with thermo-migration and haphazard motion of nano-sized particles. Arrhenius kind of chemical reaction is taken along an exponentially stretchable surface. The main focus of current exploration is to execute shear thinning nano-liquid flow past an exponentially rotating stretchable surface under the influence of variable viscosity, mixed convection and activation energy. We are motivated to explore the features of three-dimensional shear thinning model combined under the features of mixed convention, variable viscosity, and activation energy. The mathematical model is designed to generate PDEs and converted them into ODEs by employing fractious transformation. The numerical outcomes are exhibited via graphs by employing Bvp4c numerical technique whereas the values of skin friction coefficient are calculated by monopolizing shooting method. Characteristics of the parameters appearing in modeling like the viscosity parameter, power-law index, local Weissenberg number, mix convection parameter, rotation parameter, Prandtl number and chemical reaction parameter are comprehensively analyzed through graphical behavior. The impact of governing parameters on skin friction, heat and mass transfer rates is illustrated through tables. The detail analysis anticipates that the elevation in Weissenberg number and porosity caused decline in velocity. Further, the temperature behaves doppositely analogous to development Prandtl besides the thermophoresis parameter.

Statistical Analysis of MHD Flow of an Electrically Conducting Tangent Hyperbolic Fluid over a Stretching Cylinder with Convective Boundary Condition

The dynamics of MHD non-Newtonian fluid flow past a cylinder with slip boundary condition and magnetic field is addressed in this study. The non-Newtonian fluid (tangent hyperbolic) considered in this study are nail polish and whipped cream. This article investigates the statistical analysis of two-dimensional MHD tangent hyperbolic fluid flow over a cylinder with slip condition. The partial differential equations describing the problem are later transformed into the ordinary differential equation by similarity variables. The derived model is solved by the spectral homotopy analysis method (SHAM). The characteristics of the parameters of the flow are demonstrated by the velocity of the flow. The skin friction coefficient is computed and presented with the aid of a tables. The slope of the linear regression is obtained through the data points while bar charts for engineering quantities of interest are presented. The findings indicated that an increase in magnetic parameters builds a resistance to the flow. Also, it was discovered that the radius of curvature decreases when the curvature parameter increases.
