Research on the construction of campus football teaching content hierarchical system and flexible management

In response to the national requirements for the development of campus football and addressing the current imbalance in the development of campus football teaching in China, this study discusses the construction of a football teaching content hierarchical system and flexible management that aligns with China's national conditions. It also elaborates on management strategies for the implementation of categorized guidance, flexible management, and enhanced inspection and evaluation in football teaching. Based on the systematic principles of constructing a campus football teaching content hierarchical system, as well as the basic rules of football tactics and teaching practice, campus football teaching content is divided into three levels: primary, intermediate, and advanced, with ten proficiency levels. The content at each level includes corresponding basic theoretical knowledge of football, football techniques and tactics, mental health education, and physical development. When arranging the teaching content at each level, it is essential to fully consider the matching of football knowledge and tactics, and to organically integrate football knowledge, skills with physical training, and comprehensive quality education. The implementation of flexible management should be practical, proposing different requirements for football teaching in schools of different types and regions, implementing categorized guidance and management; it is necessary to strengthen institutional construction, and use inspection and evaluation as a driving force to promote the sustainable development of football teaching.

Sustainable growth, financial flexibility and working capital management in family firms: An empirical study in Indonesia

Family firms play an important role in the economies of developing countries such as Indonesia. Proper working capital management is necessary to support the sustainable growth of family firms. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of sustainable growth and working capital management of family firms. The study analyzes family firms by comparing them with non-family firms listed in the LQ45 index of the Indonesian capital market. Using quantitative methods, logistic regression is used to test the hypotheses. The survey sample covers 280 companies from 2015 to 2022. The results of the study show that the elements of sustainable growth of family firms differ from non-family firms only in the leverage element. Family firms tend to have lower leverage than non-family firms. Family firms tend to have more conservative working capital management policies for investment and financing than non-family firms. Family firms also have longer days of accounts payable outstanding than non-family firms, while days of inventory outstanding and days of sales outstanding are not significantly different. This study suggests that family firms should implement a moderate working capital policy to strengthen sustainable growth rates. Principle-based decision-making: realising benefits in a scaled agile environment

PurposeThis paper examines the conflict between rule-based and principle-based approaches to benefits realisation in agile projects. It proposes a principle-based framework as a more effective alternative, aligned with the iterative and adaptive nature of agile methodologies.Design/methodology/approachThe research utilises semi-structured interviews to gather qualitative data from professionals experienced in agile projects. Causal loop diagrams are employed to illustrate the relationships between identified principles. The study identifies 12 key principles essential for agile benefits realisation, with a particular focus on visibility and consequence management.FindingsThe study finds that a principle-based approach to benefits realisation is more compatible with agile methodologies compared to a rule-based approach. The flexibility of principle-based decision-making allows for continuous adaptation and improvement, aligning with the dynamic and iterative nature of agile projects. The principles of visibility and consequence management emerge as critical factors in successfully realising benefits in an agile environment.Research limitations/implicationsThe findings are based on qualitative data from a limited number of interviews, which may not be generalisable across all agile projects. Further research with a larger sample size and diverse project types is recommended to validate and refine the proposed principles.Practical implicationsAgile teams and project managers can leverage the identified principles to enhance their decision-making processes and improve benefits realisation outcomes. Adopting a principle-based approach can lead to more flexible, responsive and effective project management practices.Social implicationsBy promoting more adaptive and responsive project management practices, the adoption of a principle-based approach can contribute to greater satisfaction and collaboration among project stakeholders, leading to more successful project outcomes.Originality/valueThis research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by highlighting the limitations of rule-based approaches in agile contexts and proposing a principle-based framework for benefits realisation. The identification of specific principles and their interrelationships provides a novel perspective and practical guidance for agile practitioners.

Advancing sustainable EV charging infrastructure: A hybrid solar-wind fast charging station with demand response

This study aims to design an efficient hybrid solar-wind fast charging station with an energy storage system (ESS) to maximize station efficiency and reduce grid dependence. The research employs Monte Carlo simulation to capture renewable energy source (RES) uncertainties, models stochastic electric vehicles (EVs) driver behavior and fleet diversity, and utilizes an Erlang B queuing model for EV load demand estimation. A hybrid optimization approach combining the Binary-Gravitational Search Optimization Algorithm (B-GOA) and the Non-dominated Crowding Sort Optimization Algorithm (NCSOA) is implemented for efficient optimization in a combined binary-continuous solution space. Results demonstrate superior performance of the proposed approach compared to existing methods, with high-RES penetration significantly reducing grid reliance. This study contributes to advancing sustainable EV charging infrastructure development and enhancing overall grid stability through improved load flexibility and demand response management. The analysis reveals Scenario IV as the most economically viable, with the highest Net Present Value of 1,025,895.32€. Most scenarios favor 5 chargers (44–46 kW) and 4 Type 3 wind generators. Battery capacity varies widely (108–372 kWh), as does grid connection (0–292 kW). Despite varying initial investments, Scenarios II-VII show a consistent 4-year Internal Rate of Return, indicating good economic potential across different configurations.

Supply Chain Management for the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Model: A Review and Bibliometric Analysis

China’s “Going Out” strategy and the “Belt and Road” initiative have significantly propelled the expansion of overseas contractual engagements, with a pronounced impact in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector. EPC contracting is increasingly recognized for its superior resource allocation and integration efficiency. Within the EPC framework, procurement is pivotal, exerting a direct influence on project cost, schedule, and quality parameters. The biblio-metric analysis of this paper reveals the research trend of EPC projects in the past decade, especially in supply chain integration, procurement management, and stakeholder management. This indicates an increasing interest in efficient project management and supply chain optimization in international engineering EPC projects. Although the application of supply chain integration in the manufacturing industry has been a successful experience, its practical application in construction and EPC projects is still insufficient. Integration strategies mentioned in the literature, such as achieving supply chain transparency through digital platforms, reducing operating costs, and optimizing delivery time, are directions that need to be further explored in this field. Effective supply chain integration and increased maturity of procurement management in EPC projects are still less involved areas. In addition, there is also a lack of research on how to manage high-risk and unpredictable risks in large international engineering projects. This article suggests that future research should focus on developing flexible supply chain management tools and practices to adapt to a project-oriented supply chain environment.

Relationship Between Age and Condensed Tannin Content in the Bark of Two Forest Species Grown in Northeast Brazil

Objective: This research aimed to evaluate the influence of tree age on the condensed tannins content in the bark of two forest species. Theoretical Framework: Tannins are phenolic compounds present in various parts of plants and have consolidated applications in the market. This way, silvicultural studies of different species with the potential to produce are relevant. Method: Barks of Azadirachta indica at 5, 6, and 7 years and Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia at 6, 7, and 9 years were collected from an experimental plantation located in a forest area in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The barks were then air-dried and ground to obtain a material subjected to extraction. Total solids content, Stiasny index, and condensed tannin content were determined from the hot-water extracts. Results and Discussion: The condensed tannins content in A. indica bark did not vary as tree age increased, while for M. caesalpiniaefolia, the most productive age was determined to be six years old. Research Implications: The experimental approach showed that A. indica presented stable tannin content in the bark regardless of age, allowing continuous and flexible management to produce these extractives. In contrast, M. caesalpiniifolia presented condensed tannins, with their reactivity decreasing with age, indicating that younger trees are more suitable for high-quality extractions and commercial production. Originality/Value: Tannins content in Azadirachta indica bark remains stable over time, facilitating continuous management and Mimosa caesalpiniifolia bark, the concentration of tannins is higher in younger trees.

Deep-Learning-Based Automated Building Construction Progress Monitoring for Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction.

Prefabricated prefinished volumetric construction (PPVC) is a relatively new technique that has recently gained popularity for its ability to improve flexibility in scheduling and resource management. Given the modular nature of PPVC assembly and the large amounts of visual data amassed throughout a construction project today, PPVC building construction progress monitoring can be conducted by quantifying assembled PPVC modules within images or videos. As manually processing high volumes of visual data can be extremely time consuming and tedious, building construction progress monitoring can be automated to be more efficient and reliable. However, the complex nature of construction sites and the presence of nearby infrastructure could occlude or distort visual data. Furthermore, imaging constraints can also result in incomplete visual data. Therefore, it is hard to apply existing purely data-driven object detectors to automate building progress monitoring at construction sites. In this paper, we propose a novel 2D window-based automated visual building construction progress monitoring (WAVBCPM) system to overcome these issues by mimicking human decision making during manual progress monitoring with a primary focus on PPVC building construction. WAVBCPM is segregated into three modules. A detection module first conducts detection of windows on the target building. This is achieved by detecting windows within the input image at two scales by using YOLOv5 as a backbone network for object detection before using a window detection filtering process to omit irrelevant detections from the surrounding areas. Next, a rectification module is developed to account for missing windows in the mid-section and near-ground regions of the constructed building that may be caused by occlusion and poor detection. Lastly, a progress estimation module checks the processed detections for missing or excess information before performing building construction progress estimation. The proposed method is tested on images from actual construction sites, and the experimental results demonstrate that WAVBCPM effectively addresses real-world challenges. By mimicking human inference, it overcomes imperfections in visual data, achieving higher accuracy in progress monitoring compared to purely data-driven object detectors.

Multi-type energy conversion for managing the consumption by enhancing the resiliency of electrical distribution networks

The climatic circumstances of the world have altered due to the world warming up, and this issue has increased high-impact and low-probability (HILP) events more than before. Supplying energy requirements has turned into one of the main challenges of utilities especially electrical distribution companies considering the frequency and intensity of HILP events. On the other hand, developments in storing electricity have varied expectations and will change the solutions leading to resilient electrical distribution networks (EDNs). Some researchers have studied and analyzed numerous aspects of resilient EDNs but hybridization of different types of energy storage systems (ESSs) has not evaluated before. This paper considers energy management of emergency-operated EDNs equipped with two different types of energy storage systems which are batteries and flywheels. Convex equations in all parts of the problem, including different types of energy storage systems are proposed and modeled as an MIQCP to optimize the resilient networks considering all limitations. The proposed framework is developed in GAMS software and the results are provided in the form of Pareto optimal solutions. Applicability of the conducted model is evaluated by the IEEE 33-bus test system aiming at outstanding the effects of flywheels in improving the resiliency of electrical distribution networks. The proposed model analyzed by various energy storing scenarios based on technical and economical limitations. Results showed that among the considered case studies, the 50 % of the cases included with flywheel while batteries participated in 30 % that were the most expensive ones. On the other hand, the lowest amount of objective function belongs to the case that is only included with flywheels. Accordingly, by considering flywheels as a newly born energy storage system in the emergency-operated EDNs, the flexibility of energy management is facilitated and can be developed economically.

A Survey Management System: Design and Implementation Using Java Swing and MySQL

Abstract: This paper presents the design and development of a survey management system using Java Swing and MySQL, aimed at simplifying the process of creating, managing, and participating in surveys. The system allows registered users to create surveys, generate unique access codes, and manage their surveys through an intuitive interface. Users can log in to view, delete, or manage their surveys, while guests can participate in surveys using the unique codes provided. The system provides an offline solution, making it particularly useful in environments with limited internet connectivity. Key features include user authentication, survey management, and guest access to surveys. The system's architecture is built using Java for the front-end and MySQL for the back-end, ensuring efficient data handling and storage. This project addresses the growing need for flexible and user-friendly survey management tools, especially in academic and research settings. The paper also discusses the challenges encountered during development, potential future enhancements, and the broader applications of this system

Roles of Psychological Flexibility, Parenting Competence, and Asthma Management Self-Efficacy in the Functioning Outcomes of Parents of Children with Asthma Co-Occurring with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Asthma and ADHD represent prevalent pediatric conditions, with the former being a physical disorder and the latter being a neurodevelopmental disorder. This study examined the influence of parental psychological flexibility (PF)—the ability to adapt to evolving situational demands, shift perspectives, and balance competing priorities—alongside parenting competence and asthma management self-efficacy on family functioning and parental psychological adjustment in families with children exhibiting concurrent asthma and ADHD symptoms. Baseline data were analyzed from 130 parents (mean age = 40.3 years, SD = 5.5; 88.9% mothers) of children diagnosed with both asthma and ADHD (mean age = 8.0 years, SD = 2.2; 74.6% boys), who were participating in a randomized controlled trial evaluating an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-based parenting intervention. An adjusted structural equation model revealed that greater parental psychological inflexibility was significantly associated with poorer family functioning (β = −0.61, 95% CI [−0.74, −0.33], p < 0.001) and increased psychological maladjustment (β = 0.48, 95% CI [0.32, 0.63], p < 0.001), accounting for intercorrelations with parenting competence and parental asthma management self-efficacy. Additionally, parental psychological flexibility was found to mediate the relationship between parenting competence and both family functioning and psychological adjustment. These findings underscore the importance of targeting parental psychological inflexibility and enhancing parenting competence in interventions to improve family dynamics and parental mental health and thereby suggest a shift from the traditional focus on self-efficacy in symptom management for pediatric asthma and ADHD.

GESTÃO EDUCACIONAL PÓS-PANDEMIA: DESAFIOS E SOLUÇÕES PARA O ENSINO- APRENDIZAGEM

This paper analyzes the challenges and strategies of educational management in the post-COVID-19 pandemic context, focusing on the teaching-learning process. The pandemic has had a profound impact on the educational sector, requiring a restructuring of pedagogical and administrative practices. The objective of the research is to investigate how school management can help students overcome the learning gaps generated during remote and hybrid teaching, adopting innovative and inclusive practices. The methodology employed consists of a literature review and a qualitative survey with school managers, where data were collected on the strategies implemented. The results indicate that flexible, collaborative, and technology-oriented management is essential for educational success in the post-pandemic period. It is concluded that educational management must adapt to new realities, promoting the integral development of students and the recovery of learning gaps.

Simulation of PSDF (Photovoltaic, Storage, Direct Current and Flexibility) Energy System for Rural Buildings

The PSDF (photovoltaic, storage, direct current, and flexibility) energy system represents an innovative approach aimed at achieving carbon neutrality. This study focused on rural buildings and utilized Modelica to develop a dynamic simulation model of the PSDF system. The research introduced a framework for direct current distribution microgrid systems with flexible regulatory mechanisms, employing a virtual inertia control strategy to provide stable adjustments for flexible operations and support integration with local grids. Case simulation results indicated that the system equipped with a water tank saved 3.15 kWh compared to the system without a water tank, resulting in an energy savings rate of 22.14%. Compared to traditional photovoltaic systems, the PSDF system significantly enhanced energy management flexibility and system reliability through the integration of thermal storage and battery management. This research made significant contributions to the fields of renewable energy and building energy systems by offering a scalable and practical solution suitable for rural contexts.

DFRDRL: a dynamic fuzzy routing algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning with guaranteed latency and bandwidth for software-defined networks

Traditional routing algorithms have several limitations that become increasingly significant in the context of Software-Defined Networking (SDN). Firstly, these algorithms often have limited support for Quality of Service (QoS) requirements, making them less suitable for handling diverse traffic types efficiently. Moreover, current SDN controllers leverage a default shortest-path routing approach, which does not allow for more dynamic and flexible traffic management based on real-time network policies. To address these issues, this paper introduces a Dynamic Fuzzy Routing algorithm based on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) for SDN that provides guaranteed latency and bandwidth (DFRDRL). DFRDRL provides intelligent and efficient routing that adapts to dynamic traffic by considering path-state criteria and using DRL. Fuzzy logic mainly performs online routing between an ingress-egress pair. To adapt to dynamic traffic changes, DFRDRL can predict the traffic matrix in real time. Meanwhile, DFRDRL reduces the routing reliance on network topology by weighting the network based on critical nodes. Additionally, when the network experiences congestion based on the traffic matrix, a deferral mechanism is applied to prioritize requests with lower resource demands. This mechanism helps ensure efficient resource allocation by temporarily postponing or queuing higher-demand requests, thereby optimizing overall network performance during periods of congestion. The simulation results show that the performance of DFRDRL is better than the equivalent algorithms in terms of latency and throughput. Also, DFRDRL is about 2.5% more efficient than the best existing algorithm in terms of admission rate of routing requests.

SustentAÇÃO: E-learning training on food sustainability for teachers in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area

Abstract Background It is essential to address food sustainability (FS) within the school community to enhance both public and environmental health. In Portugal, in the scope of AML Alimenta, teachers’ training on FS was identified as a priority. Therefore, local partners along with academia developed, implemented, monitored, and evaluated the SustentAÇÃO. Objectives SustentAÇÃO aimed to empower school teachers in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area to teach students between 6 and 14 years old on FS. The program consisted of 10 hours of asynchronous online learning (MoodleTM), structured in 4 modules, and 10 hours of autonomous learning (5 students’ educational sessions), offering autonomy and flexible time management. The contents were adapted for different age groups. The teacher’s performance was monitored and evaluated continuously. A process evaluation was conducted for both teachers and students. Results Of the 79 teachers enrolled, 47% completed the program. Teachers’ performance (0-20) on the 4 evaluation questionnaires was on average 17,9±3,13. Most teachers found the program benefited their work (94%) and considered it essential for enhancing student’s knowledge (98%). Considering overall satisfaction, 85% of teachers were satisfied or very satisfied with the training and 91% would recommend it to their colleagues. Additionally, 86% of students enjoyed the activities delivered, 76% considered that they were wasting less food, and 78% believed they had improved their ability to make healthier and more sustainable food choices. Conclusions Through a collaborative work between local partners and academia, an innovative e-learning training programme on FS was developed, implemented, monitored, and evaluated, responding to the local needs identified. SustentAÇÃO complies with national education guidelines and contributes to the sustainable development goals agenda. Key messages • SustentAÇÃO E-learning training highlights the importance of collaborative work, based on an initial assessment to target local needs. • SustentAÇÃO E-learning training improve teachers’ knowledge on FS and benefit their students.

Web Server Based Electrical Control System Analysis for Smart Buildings

Energy management in smart buildings still faces challenges in optimizing energy use, particularly for high-load devices, such as HVAC systems and lighting. Conventional control systems are often inadequate for optimizing energy usage based on the operational needs of the building. This study aims to develop and analyze a web server-based electrical energy control system that can be accessed in real time to improve the energy efficiency of smart buildings. This study employed a quasi-experimental method by implementing a web server-based control system in a smart building and comparing the energy consumption before and after the application of the system. The results show that the system reduces the energy consumption by up to 25%, particularly for HVAC systems and lighting. The most significant energy savings occurred during off-peak hours, when the system automatically reduced power for unnecessary devices. The implications of this research suggest that a web server-based control system not only enhances energy efficiency and reduces operational costs, but also provides greater flexibility in energy management through more adaptive and responsive remote control. This research contributes to the development of more sustainable energy management technologies for smart buildings, with wide potential applications in commercial and institutional building scenarios

Apparel Supply Chain Management and Practice under the Perspective of Sustainable Development

Abstract: This study explores the challenges faced by the apparel industry and the means of attaining sustainable development via effective supply chain management amidst the backdrop of global economic integration and the evolving information technology landscape.Firstly, the current situation of the apparel industry is analyzed, including factors such as the increase in consumers' personalized demands, the increasingly fierce competition, the rising costs of labor and raw materials, and the growing consciousness of environmental preservation. The development status and problems of apparel supply chain management are then analyzed, including the excessively long supply chain, the lack of flexibility and adaptability in management, the opacity of information, the lack of a supplier evaluation system, and the neglect of sustainable development by enterprises. It further discusses achieving sustainable development in the apparel industry, including reducing water consumption and pollution, addressing the adverse consequences arising from the rapid turnover of fashion trends, promoting the construction of a circular supply chain, etc. Corresponding solutions are proposed. Finally, this study concludes how supply chain management and sustainable development practices can inject new vitality into apparel enterprises and achieve the industry's sustainable development goals.

Using kanban board for forming social time management skills of future IT specialists

For the professional development of students studying in information technology areas, it is important to develop social time management skills, i.e. skills in organizing well-coordinated teamwork and optimal distribution of responsibilities between team members with minimal time to achieve a common goal. The article aims to substantiate and elaborate methodological recommendations for developing social time management skills using kanban technology in organizing team activities of future IT specialists. Criteria for assessing the development of social time management skills are proposed. The article points out the necessity of including kanban project management technology not only as training content but also as a way to optimize time resources when performing team training projects.The article describes an experiment on teamwork organization of Nizhny Tagil State Socio-Pedagogical Institute (branch) of Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University students. At the initial stage, the determination of the level of formation of social time management skills among 2nd year students in the process of completing a project assignment on software product development was carried out within the discipline “High-level methods of informatics and programming” without the use of time management technologies. The results of this stage showed the need to develop time management skills of future IT specialists in the process of teamwork. Recommendations for organizing student teamwork when using project time management technologies using a kanban board were formulated, which will allow students to develop social time management skills.The next stage of the experiment was the organization of students’ teamwork using flexible project management methodology (kanban technology): taking into account the proposed recommendations in the experimental group, without the use of time management technologies in the control group. The results of the pedagogical experiment showed the expediency of following the proposed methodological recommendations.

Research and Case Application of Zero-Carbon Buildings Based on Multi-System Integration Function

This study focuses on developing and implementing zero-carbon buildings through the integration of multiple systems to meet China’s carbon neutrality goals. It emphasizes the significant role of the building sector in carbon emissions and highlights the challenge of increasing energy consumption conflicting with China’s “dual carbon” targets. To address this, the research proposes a comprehensive framework that combines multifunctional envelope structure (MES) systems, photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, direct current (DC) systems, flexible energy management (PEDF), and regional energy stations. This framework integrates different technologies such as phase change materials, radiation cooling, and carbon mineralized cement, aiming to reduce carbon emissions throughout the building’s lifecycle. The method has been successfully applied in the Yazhou Bay Zero Carbon Post Station project in Sanya, Hainan, with precise calculations of carbon emission reductions. The carbon emission calculations revealed a reduction of 44.13 tons of CO2 annually, totaling 1103.31 tons over 25 years, primarily due to the rooftop photovoltaic systems. It demonstrates that the multi-system integration can reduce carbon emissions and contribute to China’s broader carbon neutrality goals. This approach, if widely adopted, could accelerate the transition to carbon-neutral buildings in China.

Leveraging recommendations using a multiplex graph database

PurposeBy applying targeted graph algorithms, the method used by the authors enables effective prediction of user interactions and thus fulfils the complex requirements of modern recommender systems. This study sets a new benchmark for multidimensional recommendation strategies and offers a path towards more advanced and user-centric models.Design/methodology/approachTo improve multidimensional data recommendation systems, multiplex graph structures are useful to capture various types of user interactions. This paper presents a novel framework that uses a graph database to compute and manipulate multiplex graphs. The approach enables flexible dimension management and increases expressive power through a specialised algebra designed for multiplex graph manipulation.FindingsThe authors compare the multiplex graph approach with traditional matrix methods, in particular random walk with restart, and show that the method not only provides deeper insights into user preferences by integrating scores from different layers of the multiplex graph, but also outperforming matrix-based approaches in most configurations. The results highlight the potential of multiplex graphs for developing sophisticated and customised recommender systems that significantly improve both performance and explainability.Originality/valueThe study provides a formal specification of a multiplex graph construction based on interaction and content-based information; and the study also developed an algebra dedicated to multiplex graphs, enabling robust and precise graph manipulations necessary for effective recommendation queries. The authors implement these algebraic operations within the Neo4j graph database system with a thorough analysis and experimentation with three different data sets, benchmarked against traditional matrix-based methods.

Integrating the ideas of mindful meditation into physical activities to improve executive function skills of kindergarten children

This study aimed to examine whether physical activities based on mindful meditation can significantly enhance executive function (EF) skills in kindergarten children. A pre-experimental design was used, and purposive sampling was conducted to recruit the participants. A total of 87 kindergarten children were recruited, including 66 regular children and 21 who were screened as having a risk of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) based on a t-score of ≥ 1.5 on the Swanson, Nolan, and Pelham Rating Scale-IV (SNAP-IV). The participants received one hour of training every day, four days per week, for eight weeks. The modified Thai version of the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function-Preschool (BRIEF-P) was administered before and after the intervention. Paired t-tests were conducted to determine if there were any significant differences between the pre- and post-tests for children with and without a risk of ADHD. Independent t-tests were also conducted to determine if there were any significant differences between children with and without a risk of ADHD. The intervention significantly enhanced the participants' performance on the full BRIEF scale and all subscales (inhibition, cognitive flexibility, emotion control, working memory, and planning). Additionally, significant differences in cognitive flexibility, inhibition, and emotion management were found between children with and without a risk of ADHD in the pre- and post-tests. Overall, the intervention effectively enhanced the executive function of kindergarten students at risk of ADHD. However, interpretation of the study’s results should be done with caution due to the lack of a control group and random sampling. A true experimental design is suggested to overcome these limitations.
