The purpose of this study was to preventing and managing the factors of injuries suffered by golfers and to help improve their performance in golf activities. The data have been collected through questionnaires submitted by 400 golfers in Seoul and Gyunggi-do area. The results are as follows; First, As for the frequency of the content of the exercise, the following was the highest: warm-up·cool-down, yes (58.1%); number of hours exercised daily, 1-2 /hours (65.7%); number of times exercised per week, 4 times (36.5%). Second, As for the frequency of the factor for injury, for the time frame of the fir2.0st-time injury, was less than 3 months (48.3%), and having been injured at the place of exercise was yes (90.8%). As for the area of injury, came in the following order: the arms (32.3%), the lumbar vertebra (21.3%), the ribs (16.2%), the legs (7.8%), neck·thoracic vertebrae (5.1%), and head (2.9%). And as for the type of injury, came in the order of: muscle·tendon (43.2%), skin tissue (22.5%), joint (18.1%), bone (5.4%), and sensory nerve (1.6%). Having been injured at a golf course was yes (90.8%), and the area of injury came in the following order: the arms (20.3%), the lumbar vertebra (17.1%), the legs (11.7%), the ribs (4.8%), neck·the thoracic vertebrae (2.9%), head (2.2%). And the type of injury came in the following order: muscle·tendon (39.4%), skin tissue (9.8%), joint (9.5%), bone (2.2%), sensory nerve (1.0%). Third, As for the frequency of treatment when injured, no first-aid treatment was at 63.2%, followed by physical therapy at 33.7%. For the treatment period, one to two weeks was at the highest at 41.9%, and as the for result of the treatment, improvement was the highest, at 45.7%. Fourth, Prevention method. For the view on education on prevention methods against injury, necessary was at 74.3%, and the reason injury prevention is not done is because it doesn`t hurt much (42.0%), and because they don`t realize the importance (4.07%). The people interviewed that does take prevention measures against injury did by themselves (37.4%), and through a golf coach (28.9%). For the prevention method, came in the following order: warm-up·cool-down exercise (31.4%), not overexercising (21.6%).
