The paper presents some extensions and further numerical results of finite elasto-plastic strain analysis of structures which was initiated in part I of this paper. Fundamental refinements of the proposed incremental method of analysis are given and demonstrated on actual numerical computations. The natural incremental formulation for the TRIAX 3 element under finite elasto-plastic strains is developed as also are the details of the elasto-viscoplastic analysis within the natural approach. A number of examples completes the paper.
