分離低減剤を用いた高流動コンクリートのスランプフロー速度に及ぼす各種要因の影響に関する実験的研究

This paper presents the experimental result on various factors and prediction equation for slump flow velocity(Fv) of selfcompacting concrete using viscosity-agent. In this experiment, water-binder ratio, volume percentage of fine aggregate in mortar and absolute volume of coarse aggregate are changed in mix proportion of concrete, and the slump flow velocity of fresh concrete are measured. We found that the yield value(τ_m), the plastic viscosity(η_m) in wet screening mortar and the absolute volume of coarse aggregate (V_G) affect the slump flow velocity. The prediction equation is proposed the formula Fv (τ_m, η_m, V_G).

In this experiment, water-binder ratio, volume percentage of fine aggregate in mortar and absolute volume of coarse aggregate were changed in mix proportion of concrete and measured the slump-flow of fresh concrete. The factor which influence to slump-flow is sleeted based on the factor analysis and yield value (τ_m), plastic viscosity(η_m) in wet screening mortar, absolute volume (V_G) of coarse aggregate are presented by these formula. The prediction of equation was proposed formula Sf (τ_m, η_m, V_G).

Evaluation of internal resistance in hot-mix asphalt (HMA) concrete

Accurate quantification of aggregate properties is essential for understanding their influence on hot-mix asphalt (HMA) concrete and for selecting aggregates to produce high-quality paving mixture. The objectives of this study are to develop a method to measure internal resistance in HMA mixtures and to evaluate the effect of different gradations on the rutting of mixes. Analysis showed that a HMA mix could be made more resistant to rutting by specifying an adequate range of the fine aggregate passing through the 4.75-mm (No. 4) sieve. The lower the fine aggregate percentage, the greater the difference between the coarse aggregate void volume and the total volume of fines. This indicated that the aggregate interlocking greatly occurred in the coarse aggregate. The image evaluation of aggregate morphological characteristic demonstrated that a stable aggregate skeleton resulted in more internal resistance.
