This research aims to implement a financial and inventory management information system for the Serikat Tolong Menolong (STM) Desa Kota Pari, a community organization engaged in social activities. The organization currently relies on manual systems for financial and inventory management, resulting in difficulties in data management, inaccurate decision-making, and a lack of structured and integrated financial reports. To address these issues, the researcher developed a web-based application consisting of several modules, including member management, inventory management, transaction management, and report management. The application was implemented and tested at STM Desa Kota Pari. The testing results indicated that the application could help STM Desa Kota Pari manage financial and inventory data more effectively and efficiently. The application enables faster and more accurate access to information, structured and integrated financial and inventory reporting, and improved decision-making. Additionally, the application can minimize human errors and increase productivity. Thus, this research offers benefits for STM Desa Kota Pari in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of financial and inventory management, as well as for other researchers interested in conducting similar studies. The study concludes that the implementation of an information system can help STM Desa Kota Pari overcome challenges faced by traditional manual systems.

GAP Analysis of E-Government Implementation In Indonesia

This research aims to measure the gap between the design and actual implementation of an e-Government project using the ITPOSMO method. By knowing this gap, stakeholders involved in the project can find a suitable approach to prevent the project from falling on its implementation. Information about the application, required by conducting observation and interviews with various parties involved in the use of SIPKD (Regional Financial Management Information System) in Kampa district, Riau Province. From this research, it was found that the Kampa district has a gap between the design and implementation of an e-Government project, especially in the SIPKD application of 22 points. The distribution of the gap is 5 points in information dimension, 3 points in technology dimension, 3 points in process dimension, 3 points in objective and value dimension, 4 points in staffing and skills dimension, 3 points in management system and structure, and 1 point in other resources dimension. Based on the total gaps that have been occurred, the implementation of the SIPKD application has the risk of partial failure from its initial design unless action is taken to reduce the gap between design and reality. The biggest gap is in the information dimension and staffing and skill dimension.

Application of Wireless Sensor Network Computer Technology in Financial Management System

In the current enterprise competition, the core of the management information system is the financial management information system. Building a more comprehensive and efficient financial management information system can effectively establish a more efficient innovative enterprise and promote the transformation and development of the enterprise. This paper first designs a set of financial management system templates, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Second, according to the characteristics of wireless sensor network technology, this paper proposes a financial management system based on the wireless sensor network and designs a load balancing topology control algorithm (LHTCA algorithm), which balances the energy consumption of network nodes and helps to improve the network life cycle. Finally, the management system is tested and validated. The test results show that the financial management system can realize the electronicization of financial data and paperless vouchers, improve the efficiency of financial work, and promote the sharing and integration of resources.

An Examination of the Effectiveness of the Implementation of Government Accounting Systems in Namibia: A Case of the Office of the Auditor General in Windhoek

This study examines the effectiveness of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) in implementing government accounting systems in Namibia. The study was motivated by concerns over alleged corruption in Namibia’s government accounting systems. The research design used for this study was a descriptive cross-sectional survey, with the analysis unit consisting of OAG workers from several departments. A total of 227 OAG workers were randomly selected from a pool of 527 through stratified random selection. The study used SPSS to conduct tests, including Cronbach’s Alpha to determine internal consistency and descriptive statistics using the mean and standard deviation. The study’s findings indicate that capital resources, management support, and adequate training are crucial for the successful implementation of the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS). Furthermore, the study suggests that deploying IFMS can lead to transparency and efficiency, and that implementing advanced IT, financial controls, and expense management can improve IFMS deployment across government entities without sacrificing transparency or efficiency.

Islamic Financial Management Student Skill Development Training in Developing a Profit and Loss Information System

Students of the Sharia Financial Management Study Program still use the manual calculation method in financial management, such as bookkeeping. This model is less effective when used in financial management because students have to think about entering several formulas to produce output in each calculation operation. This will be done repeatedly by students. This method will make students bored and even reduce the level of concentration in the learning process. The use of the internet as a means of supporting learning on campus is still not optimal because once again learning in this course uses conventional methods. The purpose of the service is to provide education about the importance of financial management by utilizing internet-connected technology and providing additional skills to students through training in developing a website-based financial management information system. The service implementation method used is by briefing on the importance of information systems for financial management as well as practices in developing simple information systems. The result of this activity is students are able to develop a simple information system such as for profit and loss calculation system.

The study is aimed at recognizing the impact of implementation of non-cash transactions, accountability and legal policies of regional financial management information systems on regional financial management in the district of barito. It is a quantitative study, that is, by the presentation of research with Numbers that are then explained and interpreted in a description to test hypotheses. The data used in this study is the primary data gleaned from the responders filling out questionnaires. Tools used in the study use descriptive and linear regression statistics. Based on analysis, it is known that :1) implementation of non-cash transactions has a positive and significant impact on financial management in the opd in south Barito county's environment 2) accountability has a positive and significant impact on the regional finance management of the opd in the south Barito government's environment. 3) the legal policies of the region's financial management system affect the management of blood money on the opd in the south of Barito county's administration.4) simultaneously implementation of non-cash transactions, accountability and legal policies of the region's financial management systems are both positive and significant to the management of regional finances in the area of Barito Selatan

Assessing RFMIS Implementation Using DeLone and McLean Model: En-hancing Regional Financial Management

This research study focuses on assessing the implementation and effectiveness of Regional Financial Management Information Systems (RFMIS) within the context of regional governance. Employing the DeLone and McLean Model dimensions, the research aims to comprehensively analyze the system's impact on financial management practices and its significance within regional governance structures. By examining user perceptions and system performance, the study evaluates the strengths, weaknesses, and the implications of RFMIS implementation. Key findings reveal the importance of system quality, information accuracy, user satisfaction, and service quality as pivotal determinants of the system's success. The study emphasizes the RFMIS's role in improving decision-making, transparency, and operational efficiency in regional financial management. Furthermore, the research highlights identified weaknesses in user interface, support services, system maintenance, and adaptability, signifying areas necessitating immediate attention for improvement. This technical assistance (TA) mission on Government Finance Statistics (GFS) was conducted during December 5-19, 2021. The main purpose of the mission was to support the Budget, Public Accounting and Debt Departments in enhancing budget preparation and reporting in line with the Government Finance Statistics Manual 2014 (GFSM 2014) framework and its integration in the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS).

Evaluation Of Cash Withdrawal Procedures Based On PP No. 12 In North Sulawesi

Cash Disbursement Accounting Systems and Procedures will help expedite the management of company activities if all its components run according to proper procedures. The aim of the study is to find out that the accounting system for cash disbursements at the National Unity and Regional Politics Agency of North Sulawesi Province has been in accordance with PP No. 12 of 2019. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative data, namely data presented in the form of a clear and detailed explanation in nature with data collection methods through interviews, observation, documentation. The results of the study show that the Regional Political and National Unity Agency of North Sulawesi Province in the Cash Disbursement Accounting System and procedure managed by the Accounting Section uses the Local Government Information System Application (SIPD) and the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) Application. In implementing this application there are obstacles experienced, while these obstacles are the internet network which is still not good and errors often occur due to viruses in the application which result in problems in inputting application data resulting in delays in issuing Payment Request Letters (SPP) which slows down the disbursement process funds, as well as a lack of human resources (HR) in using this application.

The Village Financial Management Information System is needed as a solution for the village government in carrying out its functions. Especially in village financial management. This is based on village needs, where village financial management still uses the conventional model, namely planning a budget by writing it on a book and continuing with recording on the Ms. office application. Excel and the difficulty of data search processes, reporting systems. The arrangement of information that is carried out regularly, clearly, precisely and quickly and can be presented in applications and reports certainly greatly supports the smooth running of village government operations. By utilizing information technology the village government can interact and exchange information with residents and with other village governments so as to facilitate the running of the village government in providing services and information to the community.

Examining the factors influencing Indonesia's local government’ intentions to use financial management information systems: the case for an extended TAM

This paper examines the factors that influence the intention to use FMIS in Indonesia’s local governments, especially in East Java region. The study model used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) that focuses on two specific salient beliefs-perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. However, this has not discouraged researchers from incorporating additional constructs to the original model in their quest for increased predictive power. Here, an attempt is made to explain local governments' intention to use FMIS. Besides perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, compatibility, external technical support, and management support are included in an extended TAM. The research data was obtained through questionnaires to 180 respondents of planning and financial managers at 9 local governments of the East Java region. The data analysis method used SEM-PLS with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results of this study showed that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are influenced by compatibility, external technical support, and management support. Compatibility also influenced intentions to use FMIS, and perceived ease of use influenced perceived usefulness. Intention to use FMIS was also affected by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Lastly, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use did not create a mediating effect between external variables and intention to use FMIS. This study concludes that TAM and external variables affect interest in using FMIS.

Using the Technology Acceptance Model to Analyze Information System Performance

This article analyzes user perceptions of information systems. The DIY provincial government agency conducted the research. The analysis is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Information system performance is associated with perceived usefulness (POU) and perceived ease of use (PEU). Based on the technology acceptance model, the user will be able to accept the information system if the user's information system has a perception that the information system is helpful for the user and easy to use. This article analyzes whether user perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of information systems affect user perceptions of information system performance. The study was conducted on SIPKD users in the DIY provincial government. The regional financial management information system is one of the systems used by the DIY provincial government. SIPKD is a system that all local government work units must use. SIPKD operators are appointed with a regional head decree. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 SIPKD operators. Data were analyzed by moderating regression analysis. Data processing results show that POU and PEU affect user perceptions of information system performance. The proven task complexity variable serves as a moderating variable between POU and PEU with information system performance.

Design and Implementation of E-Lazisnu in Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah Mangement With Android Based

The amil zakat agency is a zakat management institution whose job is to receive and distribute zakat, infaq, and alms to people in need. In several sub-districts in Blitar Regency, the zakat, infaq, and alms management systems, in this case financial recording, financial reporting, and all matters relating to the entry and exit of money are still carried out using a paper-based recording system. Storing data in the form of reports printed on paper is considered insecure, because it could be that the accumulation of reports from year to year will cause the data to become obsolete and even disappear. This study proposes a financial management information system as a financial management medium. The purpose of this research is to develop an Android-based financial management information system as an alternative financial management medium for LAZISNU managers and to determine product feasibility. The research and development methodology used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). This methodology covers all matters related to development to produce quality software. Based on the trials, the results obtained were 82.5% from software experts, 90.5% from material experts, and 86.5% from user field tests. Based on these results, an Android-based financial management information system is feasible to use as a financial management medium with an average validation value of 86.5%.

The financial information system is part of the MIS which is used to solve corporate financial problems. In general, the financial information system has an income system consisting of a data processing subsystem supported by an internal audit subsystem that provides internal data and information. For large companies it usually has staff internal auditors. Like other subsystems, this system is also equipped with the financial intelligence subsystem, which collects information from the environment.
