Lung 99Tcm-DTPA transfer: a method for background correction.

A method to correct for background in lung DTPA transfer has been developed for use with a large field of view gamma camera. The method gives comparable values of T50 to those obtained by Jones et al. The correction factors vary from apex to base; therefore to allow intersegmental T50 comparisons each segment should be corrected for background using its own correction factor.

Evaluation of Scanning Condition and Early Organ Accumulation with Large Field of View Gamma Camera in 201Tl Myocardial Scan

201Tl心筋スキャンにおける撮像条件および22例の臨床例における静注後早期の心筋, 肝, 脾, 腎, 肺での経時的変化を大視野ガンマカメラによる体外計測にて検討した。撮像条件は69～83keV Hg X線にて20%ウインドウが最良の結果であった。体外計測にて各臓器は3～5分以後ほぼ一定の集積を示し, 撮像開始は5分後と決定した。梗塞部対正常部心筋集積比は0.80～0.74と比較的高値を示した。201Tlの血中消失は速く急速相2.5分, 緩徐相54.7分の2相性であった。全身有効半減期は2.22±0.46日であり, 全身被曝量は約160mrad/mCiと推定された。臨床例における5分以後の心筋スキャンにて梗塞部は明瞭な欠損として描出され, 良好な心筋スキャンが得られた。
