The Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis System for Controllable Pitch Propeller Based on LabVIEW

The monitoring and fault diagnosis system for controllable pitch propeller is based on modern testing technology, fieldbus technology, monitoring and diagnosis technology, computer technology. The equipment consists of various types of sensors, CANopen bus devices, LabVIEW and computer, which can monitor the CPP’s operating parameters, including shaft system vibration, shaft speed, pitch angle, liquid level of gravity tank, pressure and temperature of hydraulic system, and the system can also alarm if three typical fault of shafting occurs.

Design of Sewage Treatment Automated Control System

Advanced fieldbus technology has solved the DCS system of communication caused by special network of the closed system defects, the closed, proprietary solutions into the open, standardized solution.Therefore, in this paper, according to the technological process in sewage treatment plant, combining with the distribution and characteristics of process equipment, the overall structure of the design of the sewage treatment plant automation system, and the overall structure of each component has carried on the detailed analysis and research.

Research on Networked Control System Development Based on Agent Visualization Technology

As computer control theory has developed for more than ten years, combined with the wide application of networked telecommunication technology, design of modern control system has embarked on a Internet control system.Due to uncertainty of outer environment, dispersion of space structure, multiplicity of controlling target as well as complexity of target system, modern industrial system requires more for contemporary controlling theory and the former design method never meets the satisfaction of industrial large-scale production. Based on the rapid development of field bus technology, Internet controlling system design takes advantage of the regional dispersion, information’s fullness and modules in hardware devices in terms of modern controlling system. By this means can more complex controlling algorithm and advanced coordination strategy be realized in an effective way. In view of Agent ideas, to utilize communication of information as well as coordination and cooperation, intelligence and flexibility are able to be realized in the process of designing a complicated and efficient system.

Research on the Electronic System Design of the Automobile Based on PLC and MPC

By comparing various field bus technology, considering automobile electrical control system its own situation, we establish the automobile electrical control system method based on PLC mixed network, discuss the system's design goals, function and main structure; Introduce PLC bus and LIN1.2 bus basic theory and protocol. Design the hardware circuit based on PLC bus and LIN1.2 bus protocol strictly including PLC node circuit design, LIN node circuit design and PLC/LIN gateway circuit design. The chips used in the circuit design and their performances are also detailed introduced. In the end, the system software is designed and the main flow chart is also given in this study.

Implementation of Experimental Platform of Shipboard Power System

This paper presents an integrated experimental platform of Shipboard Power System (SPS) control system. It was established with equipment of three 100KW diesel generator sets, electric power network, 270KW loads of resistance and inductance, 24KW AC motor drive control system and shipboard automatic power station. The power system and generator sets of experimental platform run under controllers of M340 PLC and PPU. The hardware environment of two layers network is formed for experiments and control programs developing. Field bus and Ethernet technologies are applied for the experimental platform. Combining with some relevant developing software of platform, programs of real time control and electric energy management can be developed and realized for generator sets and electric power network and shipboard power station. Data of SPS experiments can be sampled and recorded in Ethernet computer through sensors, PPU, PLC and Field bus facilities. Also, the functions of SPS characteristic analysis and faults alarming can be implemented by Ethernet computers. This physical experimental platform satisfies the requirements of analysis and research for SPS automatic control.

Research on the Performance Test of Wired/Wireless Heterogeneous Industrial Control Network

Industrial wireless technology is another hot technology direction after the field bus and industrial Ethernet technology. Therefore, it is particularly important to evaluate the performance of wireless networks. In this paper, based on IEEE802.15.4 standard wireless network as the research object, a wireless network performance test device is developed and the testing platform is set up. By testing for industrial wireless network control system, such the throughput, packet loss rate of the token cycle, control cycle, as performance indicators are obtained. It provides the powerful basis to improve the performance and evaluation industrial wireless network.

FOUNDATION FIELDBUS: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

This paper describes the main characteristics of the Foundation Fieldbus (FF) technology considering both communication levels, namely H1 and H2, which have bit rates of 31.25 K and 1 00 Mbit/s, respectively. Several details about the physical layer, communication stack and user layer will be highlighted. Topics related with the configuration of instruments, as well as the design and implementation of supervision software, based on a LabVIEW interface, will be presented. A pilot plant that includes temperature, pressure, level and flow variables will be used to test and validate the capabilities of FF systems. Experimental results will be analyzed, their meaning discussed and the overall performance evaluated.

Design of Automatic Control System for Intelligent Micro Drip Irrigation Based on PLC Technology

This paper analyzes the control requirements of drip irrigation system, designed automatic drip irrigation control system with IPC and PLC as control core, using WinCC as the man-machine communication window, combined with frequency, field bus and sensor technology. This paper focuses on the system hardware design, system control software and system monitoring software design. Through the field bus, the central management computer decide reasonable irrigation decision according to the soil moisture information, crop water requirement characteristics and predetermined irrigation scheme, and then issued a directive to the solenoid valve scattered, automatic carry out proper, required precision irrigation control. The practical application shows that: the system has stable working performance, friendly interface, improve labor productivity. The system can be expanded easily in terms of structure and function, can satisfy the application of different scale, demand, cost, have certain application prospect.

IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF WEIGHER USING PLC CONTROLLER

Static and dynamic weighing systems are now the most prominent measurement and control instruments of raw materials flow rate. Considering the development of technology in industries, fabrication of special progressive systems of weighing in which the used state of art modern control methods of mechatronics has changed the process of classical control principles based on fieldbus technology development and use of the various types of data exchange protocols have led to the creation of flexible ways of interconnections between DCS system and main controllers with related modular boards. In industrial sectors, the raw material that is entering to the system must be in an equal ratio for the production and it should be weighed properly for further use. In this project the main focus is on the raw material handling system that is to know the amount of raw material entering to the system by using load cell and controllers. Weigh feeders are used to weigh and to handle the raw material. It weighs accurately the raw material for maintain proper blend for sinter. This blend is called as basemix material. Programmable Logical Controller controls the weigh feeders by using speed sensors, load cell, VFD and by using the control input. By designing the certain parameters whole system is controlled by using Programmable Logic Controllers. In this paper PLC is used to control overall system because it is capable of controlling weigh feeder system. Main focus is given to weigher to weigh accurate amount of material entering to the system.

Research and Design of Embedded CNC System Based on CAN Bus Technology

This paper is based on the expansion of the CAN bus interface on ARM so that the embedded CNC system to achieve network, and display their respective advantages of field bus technology and embedded technology, so that to set up local area network embedded NC system model. The CNC system designed in this paper has characteristic as follows: high integration, flexible structure, good expansibility and the high performance-to-price ratio and so on.

Research of the Architecture of the Flexible Assembly Line Based on the Extension Method and Multi-Agent

With the combination of the extension method and multi-agent, the assemble process of the motor and its subassembly was analyzed to build the corresponding Agent and multi-Agent System model; The architecture of the flexible assembly line was established based on the established model. Finally, with the technology of fieldbus and industrial control, a flexible assembly line control system was developed based on the Profibus-DP and it provided the effective solution for the combination of theory and practical application and the applicable model for the establishment of the architecture of the flexible assembly line.

Intrinsically Safe for Continuous Automated Production Safety Technology of Unitary Detonating Powder

Production of unitary detonating powder is great danger, to protect the operation of the safety of workers, reducing labor intensity, no one is reaching a dangerous place to operate, this paper used IPC, PLC, field bus technology, industrial television monitoring, fault diagnosis techniques for successful implementation of unitary detonating powder continuous automated production safety. This paper discussed the key technological breakthrough situation such as continuous automated production safety technology of unitary detonating powder, security technology, precise control of many parameters of the batching technology, compounded many-parameter control technology, on-line automatic screening, weighing, cartoning technology, explosion-proof robot automatic transmission technology, the following explosion and explosion-proof technology, and intrinsically safe technology. This paper realized production process of unitary detonating powder automation total volume of feed, multi-parameter control compound, pressure washing, online drying, automatic cartoning screening measurement and liquid, automatic transmission solid logistics. This paper developed the production line applied to unitary detonating powder production as a basic intrinsically safe for continuous automated production safety technology, implemented human isolation, hazardous processes unmanned operation, minimized the accident rate, greatly and improved production consistency and product quality. The Design of Flexible Manufacturing System Design Based on Fieldbus

Control system is a very important part of flexible manufacturing system, But the disadvantages of traditional FMS communication network is getting more and more can't meet the need of the high-speed development of flexible manufacturing system technology, the real-time and the high efficiency of the communication system, this paper puts forward the fieldbus network used in flexible manufacturing system. By means of field bus communication technology to realize flexible manufacturing system, set up the master station and slave station in the system, multi-level real-time management, the reliability of the system has been greatly improved.

Intelligent Aquaculture Monitoring System Based on Fieldbus

This paper analyses the status of aquiculture in China and gives out some of its potential problems. In order to over these problems, Industrial fieldbus and Intranet technology are used in this paper to achieve the hardware and software design, as well as control strategies for factory aquaculture. It applies WEB server, database server and browser to establish the management platform for environment control and production process. The whole system was successfully verified at Zhenjiang production base. Through a real-time control of dissolved oxygen, temperature and PH in pond, this system stabilizes these parameters at each own optimum values, and dramatically improves the overall productivity. The test results show that this system is easy-operated and user friendly, it provides a direct and practical measure for aquiculture, and saves energy as well.

The Pressure Loss Alarm System of Circulating Water in Calcium Carbide Furnace

In order to improve the manual monitoring methods of the circulating water in calcium carbide furnace, this paper designs a pressure loss alarm system about circulating water of calcium carbide furnace. The system completes real-time automation and control of circulating water system by combining PLC technology, field bus communication technology and configuration technology, which uses PROFIBUS field bus to communicate between upper computer and lower computer. The practical application shows that this system can effectively achieve real-time monitoring of the circulating water, fault diagnosis and maintenance management.

Fire Supervisory System Design Based on Embedded System

This paper introduces fire supervisory system design based on embedded system using by ARM9. Embedded technology and field bus technology are used for the system design. The system can realize detecting on-line. Showing uninterruptedly the information for fire monitory point of the building, the working current for electricity lines, the leakage current, as well as environmental temperature parameters e.g., through the LCD panel. Through this system The fire information of the building and the electrical wiring or the change, fault and abnormal condition for fire danger parameters of the equipment can be mastered at any time, and the hidden fire danger can be found in time, eliminating the hidden fire danger through the alarm and terminal linkage device.

Research of Control Scheme of the New Automation System Based on Fieldbus

These application were chosen because they are robust, flexible, reconfigurable, preserve the quality of the food, and efficient.

Design of a Total Monitoring System for Air Drilling Process

To ensure the normal drilling and well site safety, a monitoring system is necessary in air drilling to monitor the real-time information in total drilling. By using the LMS algorithm and adaptive delayed transversal filter, a mathematical model of underground blasting monitoring is established, and an information monitoring system is also developed based on wireless communication and field bus technologies. The system is characterized by miniaturization, lower cost, convenient operation and transportation, powerful function. The experiment results show that this system can not only provide accurate air drilling parameters and stratum information, but also can monitor the real-time contents of flammable, explosive and toxic gas, which provides a guide for the identify of water-oil-gas layer, supervising drilling and preventing the occurrence of safety accidents in well site.

Application of Field Bus Technology in Hydropower Station Gate Control System

In order to effectively use of water resources and improve control problem of hydropower station gate, we can use the field bus technology, Ethernet technology, PLC technology, etc. In this paper, we studies a kind of new distributed network structure hydropower station gate control system. The gate can realize insect control and remote monitoring, effectively improve the monitoring and real-time ability and work efficiency. The system is of high reliability and high transmission speed, low cost, convenient use and maintenance etc.
