In present era researchers and scientists are rapidly acknowledging the importance of environment friendly procedures, goods, and the recycling of agricultural waste. Therefore, the utilization of natural resources and production of natural fiber reinforced composites (NFRC‘s), is increasing considerable interest among scientists. Although NFRC‘s have promising application potential, certain issues relating to materials and processes must be resolved to attain long-term stability and performance. The current study serves as a first introduction to the many categories and advantages of NFRC‘s and additive manufacturing, accompanied by a concise explanation. Furthermore, the present article provided a concise overview of characteristics and types of NFRC‘s, processing and recent challenges of implementing NFRC‘s in the field of additive manufacturing (AM). Finally, recent challenges encountered in processing NFRCs using additive manufacturing are briefly introduced. The Future scope of AM for sustainable NFRC‘s is very promising, especially in terms of enhancing environmental sustainability, improving efficiency, and enabling novel applications.
