Objective To explore the clinical features of upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)in young and middle-aged patients.Methods The clinical data of 81 young and middle-aged patients with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage caused by NSAIDs were retrospectively analyzed.Results All patients,taking NSAIDs within two weeks,diagnosed by fecal occult blood and fiber gastroscope.18 cases(22.2%)complicated with abdominal pain.53 cases (65.4%)addicted to coffee or sour-spicy food.48 cases(59.3%)smoked.Conclusions Upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage caused by NSAIDs in young and middle-aged people is occult onset and has mild clinical symptoms and unobvious signs.Clinicians and pharmacists should pay attention to it.
