Inclusiveness of Transmigration Women

The purpose of this study was to analyze the activities of the Anggrek Dewata program as a form of inclusiveness for transmigrant women in Air Talas Village, Rambang Niru District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative by analyzing the impact of the program with social, economic and environmental dimensions. The results show that with the Orchid Dewata program, as a form of inclusiveness implemented in Air Talas Village, namely the formation of women farmer groups (KWT), training of citrus derivative products into pie, syrup and marmalade, construction of a production house as a container and management of kwt production, P-IRT and HALAL certification to increase consumer confidence in the product. So that the activities can increase the group's economic income by as much as IDR 2,000,000/month/member. In addition, from an environmental point of view, the activities have been able to reduce unused sour orange waste by 1 ton and reduce GHG emissions by 3,504 Tons of CO2eq.

Hydroponic Green House Business Development Strategy Using Business Model Canvas (BMC)

Tangerang City, located in the Banten Province of Indonesia, covers an area of approximately 164.55 km2 and holds significant potential in agribusiness, particularly in the production of vegetables and fruits using hydroponic urban farming methods. In 2022, the vegetable harvest reached 411 hectares with a yield of around 36,547 quintals. The results of the SWOT analysis indicate that product farmers in Tangerang City are currently experiencing strong growth, with opportunities and strengths supporting the expansion of their product businesses. The Women Farmers Group (WFG) in Tangerang City faces challenges in formulating effective business strategies, despite playing a crucial role in the local economy. The SWOT evaluation of the elements within WFG's Business Model Canvas in Tangerang City has generated eight alternative strategies, including market expansion, optimization of marketing partners, increased marketing and promotional efforts, enhanced production, human resource development, product innovation, and utilization of e-commerce. The highest-priority strategy is product innovation, which is a key factor in maintaining competitiveness and adapting to market changes. Innovation is a crucial element in strategic planning to sustain competitive advantages and meet evolving market demands.

Development of Diversification of Processed Aloe Vera Products in Pakem Sleman Sustainable Women’s Farmer Group

Aloe vera plants also known as Aloe Vera are an agricultural commodity that has the potential to be developed, ranging from foodstuffs, shampoo, soap, or hand sanitizers. The Lestari Women's Farmer Group (KWT) is one of the groups that developed aloe vera, but in general, it is still sold raw. Seeing its development potential, this service activity aimed to improve the welfare of KWT members through the development of processed aloe vera products in the form of soap. The methods used are counseling, training, and mentoring. This activity runs smoothly and can produce a soap with the brand "Lesta", both liquid and solid. The enthusiasm of KWT members and administrators is the benchmark for the success of this service activity. The follow-up plan is to market this soap product widely which can be started from the network owned by the group. As well as the medium term with content testing and product permits.

Kontribusi Pendapatan Pembuat VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) pada KWT Bina Amerta terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga di Kabupaten Jembrana Bali

Income Contribution of VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) Makers at KWT Bina Amerta to Household Income in Jembrana Regency, Bali 
 The role and position of women in society begins with their position in the household, namely as a wife and housewife. But now a woman has started to participate in economic activities. The economic activity of the community that cannot be separated from the involvement of women is in the agricultural sector. Various productive activities in the agricultural sector began to be carried out by individuals and organizations such as the Women Farmers Group (KWT). One form of productive activity that has been carried out by KWT Bina Amerta in Jembrana Regency as an effort to utilize agricultural products and at the same time provide additional income is processing coconut into VCO. The large number of coconut plantations around the Bina Amerta KWT location is one of the reasons for the development of VCO processing. The research objectives are: 1) to analyze the income of KWT members who produce VCO in KWT Bina Amerta and 2) analyze the income contribution of KWT members who produce VCO at KWT Bina Amerta to household income. This study uses quantitative analysis methods. The sample used is KWT Bina Amerta members who are involved in VCO processing activities, namely 5 people. The results showed that: 1) the amount of net income earned by KWT members from VCO processing activities was IDR 40,000/day where in one month they usually produce for 15 days and in one year only produce effectively for 6 months so that the income earned by members is large. KWT from VCO processing activities for one year is IDR 3,600,000, 2) the income contribution of KWT members who produce VCO in KWT Bina Amerta to household income is 9%, which means the contribution given is still very low.

Analisis Nilai Tambah Kelapa pada Agroindustri Virgin Coconut Oil (Studi Kasus Desa Dalang dan Desa Gadung Sari, Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan)

Analysis of Added Value Coconut of Agroindustri Virgin Coconut Oil (Case Study at Dalang Village and Gadung Sari Village, Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency)
 Coconut (Cocos nucifera) is an important agroindustry commodity for the people of Indonesia. Virgin Coconut Oil is one of the coconut-processed products with high added value. This research aims to (1) Know the added value of coconut into VCO in one production process, (2) Calculate profits received in one year of processing coconut into VCO, and (3) Knowing the obstacles faced by KWT members in VCO business. This research was conducted in Dalang Village and Gadung Sari Village of East Selemadeg Subdistrict, Tabanan Regency of Bali Province from January to February 2021. The types of data collected are qualitative and quantitative data sourced from primary data and secondary data. The collected data is analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The determination of respondents was done through random sampling of 15 KWT (Women's Farmer Group) members in both villages. The variables measured in this study are the added value of coconut into VCO, profits in one year of production and constraints faced. The results showed that KWT members of coconut processors into VCO received an added value of Rp 13,111/kg in one production process. The profit of processing coconut into VCO obtained in 2020 amounted to Rp 6,088,284. The obstacles faced by KWT VCO processors are the limited raw materials of coconut in the rainy season, not having a PIRT license and limited marketing. KWT should buy more coconuts in the dry season to store, create PIRT licenses and expand marketing through local markets and businesses to companies that use VCO.

Empowerment of Women Farmer Business Groups in Juriya Village, Bilato Sub-District, Gorontalo Regency

To increase the status and role of women economically, empowering women helps them become independent women and maximize their potential. Women's health, knowledge, and abilities will increase with the existence of women's empowerment programs. For women farmers, especially in rural areas, women farmer groups are a place to gather and respect women. However, there is a possibility that it is not ideal that the women of Juriya Village have a group of women farmers. They lack independence and are usually passive in society, as can be seen from their actions. The data needed for this study were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The goal is to make the problem clear. Based on the results of research conducted to empower women in agricultural business groups in Juriya Village, Bilato District, Gorontalo Regency. It was concluded that: First, community participation, especially women who are members of the empowerment program, is very good. It can be seen how enthusiastic they are in participating in the activities that have been given. Second, the participation and motivation of good members does not determine the success of an empowerment program activity. This is due to several inhibiting factors including: Internal problems between members and the treasurer, lack of training for women farming groups, and lack of business permits, this has an effect on product marketing.

The application of young coconut waste processing technology to the women farmer group in Kertasari, Ciamis Regency, West Java

Young coconut fruit is an agricultural commodity with high economic value. The utilization of young coconuts needs to be followed up with post-harvest handling, such as preservation, packaging, and storage because young coconuts are easily damaged. Currently, young coconut consumption is starting to increase because it is widely used as a toxin neutralizer or consumed to maintain body health and fitness. The problem that occurs among young coconut ice sellers is how to deal with young coconut shell waste. Therefore, there is a need for innovation that can help young coconut ice sellers to handle waste from young coconuts and turn the coconut waste into something useful. The solution for processing young coconut waste in this community service activity is carried out by processing young coconut waste into ready-to-use organic fertilizer and planting media. In addition to overcoming the problem of young coconut waste, this activity is aimed at enabling the Women Farmers Group to be able to utilize young coconut waste to be used as organic fertilizer and planting media by applying appropriate technology to reduce the impact of environmental pollution due to the abundance of this waste. As the results of these activities, the women farmer groups have been able to utilize young coconut waste to be used as material for making organic fertilizer and planting media which were initially not of economic value by using a chopping machine, so as to reduce the impact of environmental pollution caused by the abundance of this waste.

Effectiveness of Agricultural Extension of Making Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from Coconut Husk at KWT Pamelum, Hayaping Village, Awang District, East Barito Regency

The farmer women's group has a strategic role in improving the farming skills of its members. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the agriculture extension program carried out at KWT Pamelum, Hayaping Village, Awang District, East Barito Regency with material for making liquid organic fertilizer made from coconut husk. Counseling was conducted on 30 female farmers. Measurements are carried out before and after the activity. Using Wilcoxon analysis, a significant increase in results (p = 0.00) was obtained in the value before and after the extension program. With N gain score analysis, there is an effective improvement in both knowledge, attitudes, and skills. These results are then implemented in shared gardens at KWT. It is expected that extension workers will assist farmers to continue to apply the use of liquid organic fertilizer in their farming because the results are proven to be better and safer.

The Characteristics and Utilization of Pekarangan Pangan Lestari to Achieve Urban Food Security in Depok City, West Java

The main challenge for urban food security is a public policy perspective that considers food security only from a rural lens and agricultural activities in the cities are appraised to have no place. In dealing with that challenge, the local government of Depok City has developed a local urban food system program called Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L) in Bojongsari Sub-district. The existence of P2L influenced the increase of Depok City's food security score by 1.68 within 5 years and placed Depok City as the 10th city with the highest food security index in Indonesia. This study aims to document the characteristics and utilization of P2L in the Bojongsari Sub-district. The research was conducted using in- depth interviews with 30 people and field observation in 33 P2L. The area of Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L) in the Bojongsari Sub-district can be found in the villages of Duren Seribu, Duren Mekar, Pondok Petir, and Serua, is categorized as moderate and narrow, and managed by the Women Farmers group. P2L functions as living barns (lumbung hidup), living stalls (warung hidup), living pharmacies (apotek hidup), nurseries, livestock, and fisheries. A total of 92 species belonging to 86 genera and 47 families were identified in Bojongsari Sub-district. These plants have been used by the society in Bojongsari Sub-district as a source of medicine, vegetables, spices, herbs, vitamins, and carbohydrates as much as 55%, 17%, 10, 9, 8,17, respectively. Besides, there are several animals raised in P2L such as chickens, goats, and catfish.

PENGARUH PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KEBERLANJUTAN KONSERVASI LINGKUNGAN DI DESA TARUB TEGAL

The Women Farmers Group (KWT) is a forum for the community, especially women, to manage and express various ideas in agriculture, as well as a forum for group members to increase knowledge and insight. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of community participation on the sustainability of environmental conservation. This type of research is quantitative research the population used in this study was 210. sample selection used simple random sampling and the sample size was 67 respondents. The results of this study are that community participation affects the sustainability of environmental conservation. This can be seen in the results of the simple linear regression test with the results of the variable X regression coefficient value of 0.821 with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 with an R Square value of 0, 646 or as much as 64.6% of the contribution given by community participation to the sustainability of environmental conservation.

KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI ANGGOTA KELOMPOK WANITA TANI DALAM PEMANFAATAN TANAH PEKARANGAN DI KABUPATEN NGANJUK

ABSTRACTEmpowerment is one of the solutions to overcome social problems that hit, including poverty. Utilization of Yard Land is one way to empower members of the Women Farmer Group (KWT). The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic conditions of the members of the Women Farmer Group in the Utilization of Yard Land in Nganjuk Regency. This type of research uses qualitative methods. This research be carried out in Prambon, Tanjunganom and Ngronggot Districts, Nganjuk Regency. This research will be carried out for 2 (two) months, from November to December 2022. The data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is planned to be obtained by several methods, including direct interviews, observation methods or structured observations from Women Farmer Groups (KWT). The method of determining informants was purposive sampling, namely 15 people, 5 people were taken from each sub-district. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of the study were that the condition of socio-economic factors was related to the role of farmer members of women's farmer groups in the use of yard land. with a group of women farmers, they can develop their ability to create creative ideas and increase their household income/economy by utilizing the yard around the house.  This study aims to explain the role of women leaders in local government, in this case Dusun 001, in carrying out leadership roles and trying to advance the welfare of the community. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative, and research data were collected through interviews, observation, and literature study. There were three informants in the study: Yustina Sumini (head of Dusun 001), Sumadi (community leader), and Aseni (head of the women farmer group). From the results of the study, it was found that female leaders can make a lot of contributions and are more effective at mobilizing citizens, especially women. Yustina Sumini's leadership belongs to the category of transforming entrepreneurial leadership type. This can be found in the elements led by Yustina Sumini in mobilizing and inviting mothers to engage in the creative economy to improve family welfare.
 
 
 

Pemanfaatan Limbah Budidaya Ikan Lele Dengan Sistem Akuaponik Di Kelurahan Gedog

The Women Farmers Group (KWT) “Guyub Rukun” in Gedog Village has the potential to produce vegetables using an aquaponics system. This is supported by the large amount of waste from catfish farming. Utilization of catfish farming waste is still not optimal. The use of catfish farming waste from the Women Farmers Group (KWT) "Guyub Rukun" RW 13 has not resulted in vegetable production through the aquaponics system. The empowerment activities of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) "Guyub Rukun" RW 13 aim to provide information, training and assistance on how to use catfish farming waste through an aquaponic system to produce agricultural products in the form of vegetable crops and reduce pollution resulting from catfish farming waste. This activity received a positive response from the Women Farmers Group (KWT) "Guyub Rukun" RW 13. From the results of this empowerment activity, the Women Farmers Group (KWT) "Guyub Rukun" RW 13 understood and were able to utilize catfish farming waste.

Optimalisasi Pemberdayaan Kelompok Wanita Tani Mawar Bodas di Kelurahan Kahuripan Kecamatan Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya

This research began with the discrepancy between Tasikmalaya City government regulations and farmers' actual experiences with Women Farmer Groups, in terms of fostering and facilitating farmer institutional empowerment. The goal of this study was to find out how much the Women Farmer Group's skills and welfare were improved by farming community empowerment. The study employs a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation are the methods used in this study to collect data. The study's findings indicate that the empowerment measures for the Mawar Bodas Women Farmers Group (KWT) have not been fully implemented.

Study of eban local garlic yield potential using sustainable cultivation technology in the North Central Timor District

This study aims to determine the effect of the best types of mulch and organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of local Eban garlic. This research was conducted from May to October 2022 on the land of the Melati Women Farmer Group (WFG), Salu Village, West Miomaffo District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, and the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Timor. The experimental design used was a spit-plot design with three replications. The treatment consists of two factors: The first factor is the use of mulch, which consists of three levels, namely: TO = without mulch; T1 = organic mulch (rice straw mulch); and T2 = inorganic mulch (plastic mulch). The second factor was the use of cow manure, consisting of four levels, namely: P0 = no fertilizer (without treatment), P1 = cow manure (20 t/ha) + rice husk biochar, P2 = cow manure (20 t/ha) + biochar compost, and P3 = cow manure (20 t/ha) + biochar compost tea. The treatment combinations were T0P0, T0P1, T0P2, T0P3, T1P0, T1P1, T1P2, T1P3, T2P0, T2P1, T2P2, and T2P3 with 3 replications, so that 36 units were obtained. The results of the study showed that the combination treatment of straw mulch and cow manure (20 t/ha) plus rice husk biochar gave the best results on the local garlic yield index parameter eban (9.92).

Empowerment of Farmer Women’s Group (Case Study of Edelweis Farmer Women’s Group) in Payakumbuh City

This research is motivated by the empowerment of women farmer groups in the community. The aim is to improve skills and increase community knowledge through women farmer groups so that they can help with daily needs and increase people's income and improve the welfare of the people of Sawahpadang Aua Kuniang village. The purpose of this study is to see the process of empowering women's farmer groups in edelweiss women's farmer groups, and the impact of empowering women's farmer groups.This research is based on a qualitative approach with case study research. The sources of data in this study were the chairperson, secretary, treasurer, and members of the Edelweiss Women's Farmers Group. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validation technique uses triangulation.The results of the research show that (1) the process of empowering women farmer groups has 3 stages, starting from the awareness stage, the capacity stage, and the power-giving stage, (2) the impact of empowering women farmer groups is that the community has practiced in the yard of their homes to plant useful plants. for daily needs, can also be used by the community to increase income. It is recommended that all those involved in the edelweiss farmer women's group can further develop their skills so that they can enter the market area and can prosper family life.Keywords: Empowerment, Women Farmer Group

Pelatihan Teknik Pengawetan dan Pengemasan Jamur Merang Segar di Desa Bilabante Kebupaten Lombok Tengah Nusa Tenggara Barat

Mushrooms contain a high percentage of water, causing a shorter shelf life and the quality of the mushroom will decrease rapidly. This fresh mushroom preservation and packaging technique training aims to provide information on wet and dry preservation techniques and how to pack fresh straw mushrooms. The implementation of this activity was attended by members of the Harapan Jaya farmer women's group, Bilebante village, Pringgrata sub-district, Central Lombok district. The training method is to provide material followed by hands-on practice. The training process ran smoothly and was greeted enthusiastically by the participants. This training provides expertise on how to preserve and package fresh straw mushrooms so they can last longer. From the evaluation carried out by the members of the women farmer group, they easily absorbed the material provided and were able to follow well the practices in this training. this can be seen from the results of the discussion and question and answer at the end of the training indicating that the training participants understood what had been done during the training process

The role of women’s farmer groups as an alternative solution to food insecurity during the covid -19 pandemic

This research was conducted to determine the management effectiveness of the Azzahra farmer women's group program in the Buaran area, South Tangerang, Indonesia, which was carried out from March 2021 to August 2021. The data taken are primary and secondary; primary data is taken from observations, documentation, and interviews with the chairwomanman, advisor, and group members. Secondary data are taken from a literature review. The results of the research conducted found that this group of farmer women has carried out management effectively to prevent food insecurity while improving their welfare by farming in groups. This is shown by the expansion of the cultivated land, which was originally only three hundred meters, to ten thousand meters with the addition of plant varieties, the improvement of the welfare of its members obtained from the purchase of cheap foodstuffs, and also the earning of wages from the sale of these crops. The group was also able to repay operational loans within two years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to donate part of the harvest to orphans in the surrounding area. The conclusion of this study is that the farmer women's group program can be used as a solution to prevent food insecurity in times of crisis.
