Peran Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Desa Balesono Kecamatan Ngunut Kabupaten Tulungagung

The Family Hope Program (PKH) experiences a phenomenon, such as the status of the beneficiary community is more due to the encouragement of consumerism. Thus, the beneficiary community must really utilize the assistance of the Family Hope Program (PKH) as well as possible, to improve their quality of life and welfare so that the beneficiary community does not lose assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH). Research Location, in Balesono Village, Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the utilization of PKH funds by PKH participants in improving welfare including the participation of PKH participants in participating in the PKH work program. The research approach used in this research uses descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using in-depth interview techniques, observation and documentation studies. Infromants were selected purposively based on criteria relevant to the research objectives. The results of this study show that PKH has a significant role in improving the welfare of the Balesono Village community, this role includes improving the quality of education, PKH helps beneficiaries to send their children to school with tuition assistance, increased access to health services The Family Hope Program (PKH) helps beneficiaries to get health services by providing health fee assistance, improving the quality of life, the Family Hope Program (PKH) helps improve the quality of life of the community through routine socialization once a month, the community has carried out their rights and obligations as beneficiaries of assistance, and assistants and related parties also provide guidance to beneficiaries to utilize assistance to improve their welfare. It is hoped that related parties for the next year will upgrade data collection so that PKH assistance funds are properly utilized. Researchers also recommend that future researchers need to examine more deeply the increasing synergy between institutions, namely village officials and assistants in the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Balesono village.

The effect of multisector integration communication on empowerment in rural areas

Background: Empowering impoverished communities has been a long-standing endeavor. However, the persistent prevalence of poverty still affects approximately 25 million individuals (BPS, 2023). Nevertheless, the government continues its relentless efforts to minimize the presence of impoverished families. One of the strategies employed is the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH). PKH stands as a program that has effectively fulfilled its mission. Various research studies have been conducted to comprehend the processes, mechanisms, impacts, and societal implications. However, research exploring the cross-sectoral communication aspects, elaborating on the involvement of stakeholders and PKH implementers spanning multiple institutions, remains lacking. Purpose: This research aims to measure the level of influence of multi-sectoral integration communication on the performance of individual PKH implementers. Methods: The employed methodology is an explanatory survey. The surveyed population comprises civil servants engaged in PKH. The population size consists of 80 individuals. Probability sampling is utilized as the sampling technique, with a sample size of 44 respondents, determined using the Slovin method. Hypothesis testing employs Path Analysis. Results: The research findings indicate a significant influence of cross-sectoral communication factors, encompassing organizational member perceptions, organizational strategies, communication climate, media quality, information accessibility, information dissemination, information accuracy, and organizational culture, on the performance of individual PKH implementers. Conclusion: Organizational member performance emerges as a critical aspect for the success of PKH implementation. The research results demonstrate that this performance is influenced by several factors, including information accessibility, media quality, information accuracy, organizational communication climate, organizational culture, information dissemination, and organizational strategies in the execution of the PKH program. Implications: The success of PKH is contingent upon the performance of individual members from collaborating institutions. Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of individual performance factors can be achieved by synergizing with cross-sectoral communication components.

VALUE BASED MANAGEMENT AT KELOMPOK USAHA BERSAMA (KUBE)

Joint Business Group/Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) is a business scheme launched in 2010 by the Ministry of Social Affairs for underprivileged families who received social assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH), with the idea that they will no longer depend on social assistance. KUBE has not yet achieved its goals due to low business management capabilities, weak entrepreneurial culture which has resulted low economic empowerment and performance level. This reason as an urgent need for research and development to analyze phenomena and find solutions for better KUBE performance. The aim of the research is to describe and analyze the value based management at KUBE in Bandung City. This research resulted a new findings related to the stages of determining the assumptions and legal basis used, formulating concepts and proving them into the analytical implementation of KUBE. This implementation was supported by the West Java Provincial Social Service Board in the form of providing data, information on the implementation of KUBE and facilitating the presentation of research reports. The method used is a qualitative approach with TKT at level 3. The main research output is publication on Sinta 1 or Sinta 4 and the additional outputs is a book chapter.

THE EFFECTS OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS ON STUNTING PREVALENCE RATES IN INDONESIA

Background: Social assistance, such as Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and the Family Hope Program (PKH), is among the instruments used to eradicate stunting in the short and long term. Therefore, it is important to ensure that individuals effectively use it. Aims: This study aimed to review the effect of social assistance on stunting prevalence rates in Indonesia. Methods: This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing numerical measurements and statistical analysis. The data is secondary and sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Finance. The specific method applied is the generalized method of moments (GMM) dynamic panel regression. The research sample encompasses panel data from 34 provinces from 2015 to 2021. This study utilizes the indicator of very short height for children less than five years of age as a proxy for stunting. Furthermore, low height in children is adopted as a measure of stunting. Furthermore, this study adopted a measure of low height in children to indicate stunting. Results: The results showed that social assistance negatively affected stunting, supported by various other indicators such as the proportion of proper sanitation, the average length of schooling, protein consumption, and drinking water sources. Meanwhile, excessive calorie consumption increases stunting in a certain period. Conclusion: In this condition, government social assistance was urgently needed since access to the lowest decile households increased stunting rates. The practical implications for policy derived from these findings involve optimizing the efficiency of social assistance initiatives, emphasizing the significance of addressing environmental factors in programs aimed at preventing stunting, integrating health and nutrition initiatives, and implementing educational campaigns within communities to raise awareness about calorie consumption. Pelaksanaan Mekanisme Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kota Medan

The PKH mechanism is also regulated based on Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. Minister of Social Affairs Regulation no. 1 of 2018 concerning the Family Hope Program, which includes planning, determining prospective PKH participants, validating data on potential PKH beneficiary recipients, determining PKH beneficiary families, distributing PKH social assistance, PKH assistance, increasing family capacity, verifying PKH KPM commitments, updating data KPM PKH, transformation of PKH participation. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data. The research informants were the Head of the Medan City Social Service, Secretary of the Social Service, Coordinator of the Family Hope Program Implementation Unit, beneficiary family recipients, and Head of the KPM Group. Data collection techniques can be done in several ways, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques: data collection stage, data reduction stage, data presentation stage and conclusion drawing stage. Research results: In general, the PKH implementation mechanism is based on Article 32 of the Ministry of Social Affairs Regulation No. 1 of 2018, there are 10 stages in the PKH implementation mechanism, all the main processes in implementing PKH activities always involve the Social Services and PKH Facilitators and are in accordance with the PKH implementation guidelines, but have not been implemented optimally as per the stage mechanism that has been regulated. This can be seen starting from the planning process which is hampered by data proposing additional PKH beneficiary members being far from what was planned, so that it does not cover all the poor people in Medan City who receive social assistance from the Family Hope Program, the time for validating data on potential recipients is relatively short, resulting in the determination of PKH beneficiary families that are not on target.

Parental Migration and the Social and Mental Well-Being Challenges among Indonesian Left-Behind Children: A Qualitative Study.

Parental labour migration, of either one or both parents, has been associated with various challenges among left-behind children (LBC). However, there is a limited understanding of the LBC's own views and experiences of social and mental well-being and how the new daily life circumstances they encounter following their parents' migration impact them. This study aimed to understand the influence of parental migration and its aftermath on the social and mental well-being of adolescents (referred to as LBC) in two rural districts in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative design, data were collected through individual in-depth interviews with LBC (n = 24) aged 14 to 18 years, recruited using the snowball sampling technique. Data were thematically analysed, guided by a qualitative data analysis framework. The findings showed that parental migration negatively impacted the social well-being of LBC. This impact was reflected in negative labelling from friends and changes in familial roles which influenced their social interactions and activities with peers. Parental migration was also associated with challenges to the mental well-being of LBC. These manifested in the LBC experiencing fractured emotional bonds, leading to negative emotions, including stress, anxiety, sadness, depression, frustration, loss of motivation, and self-imposed isolation, which were associated with their parents' migration and abrupt disruptions in parent-child communication. The transition to new life situations with caregivers after parental migration and the dynamics within the caregivers' households were additional factors that detrimentally affected their mental well-being. Unmet basic needs and educational needs due to financial hardships faced by mothers and caregivers further exacerbated mental health challenges for the children. The findings indicate the importance and improvement of policies and interventions in Indonesia (e.g., counselling services, non-cash food assistance, family hope program, direct cash assistance) that cover and address the diverse needs of mothers or caregivers and the LBC.

Implementasi Algoritma C4.5 dalam Klasifikasi Calon Penerima Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kelurahan Bah Sorma

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a program that provides attention to the community, especially the health category, education category and social welfare category for poor families. The Family Hope Program (PKH) aims to reduce poverty and improve the welfare of the Indonesian population. Due to the large number of residents who want to register themselves as PKH recipients, there are residents who manipulate data or claim to be poor people in order to get PKH. If this continues to happen, and there is no preventive action, it is not impossible that many residents are not right in receiving PKH provided by the Government. One of the efforts that can be made is to test the classification of prospective PKH recipients in Bah Sorma Village. This study aims to classify prospective recipients of the Family Hope Program in Bah Sorma Village. The dataset used is data on prospective PKH recipients in Bah Sorma Village, Pematang Siantar City. This research is a comparative study of previous research using the Naïve Bayes method. The method used in this research is Data Mining with the C4.5 method which is used to see the accuracy of the best method than previous research. The accuracy result obtained by this research is 98.18%. Based on the results obtained, research with the case of classification of prospective PKH recipients in Bah Sorma Village using the C4.5 Algorithm gets better accuracy than previous research using Naïve Bayes obtaining an accuracy of 80%.

POLITICS AND SOCIAL WELFARE: DYNAMICS OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS ON ELECTABILITY IN INDONESIA

This research aims to analyze the relationship between political policy and social welfare, with a focus on the dynamics of the Social Assistance Program (Bansos) and its impact on electability in Indonesia. In a dynamic political context, social assistance programs have a significant role in shaping public perceptions of government performance. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research found that the main focus of social assistance is on the poor as the group most in need. Unfortunately, the practice of politicizing social assistance often occurs before general elections, obscuring its true purpose. Research notes cases of politicization, such as the use of the Family Hope Program as a campaign tool, detrimental to the essence of the welfare program. Regulatory reform, application of the concept of graduation, and policy focus on economic empowerment are crucial steps to maintain the effectiveness of social assistance, avoid the risk of politicization, and address the root causes of poverty in a sustainable manner. The decision of the Government and DPR to shorten the campaign period further increases the risk of politicization, especially with the existence of a socialization period which can be used to maneuver without sanctions. Criticism of the increase in the allocation of social assistance funds indicates the potential for pork barrel politics, where the government may use it selectively for the benefit of increasing electability. Increased supervision, transparency, political literacy, and a strong media role are key in overcoming the complex challenges of politicization of social assistance and pork barrel politics ahead of the elections.

The Efforts to Enhance Gender-Based Health Promotion Among Beneficiary Families of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Sukoharjo Regency

This research aims to elucidate genderbased health promotion within the Family Hope Program (PKH). The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing data from secondary sources and related studies. Analysis reveals that the program targets beneficiary families. The focus of healthcare access for PKH recipients traditionally centers around seeking medical assistance when ill, pregnant, or during childbirth, necessitating a shift towards promoting healthy lifestyles for all family members with a gender equality perspective. Sukoharjo Regency has yet to receive the Parahita Ekapraya Award (APE) unlike other areas in Central Java. Training and advocacy for officials within the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) remain suboptimal. The research recommends utilizing families as the intervention base and adopting a fresh perspective in programs to instigate behavioral changes toward gender equality. The novelty of this research lies in its empirical, methodological, and theoretical dimensions, where gender theory serves as a primary component in program evaluation.

Determinants Of Stunting on Human Development and The Role Of The Government

This study aims to evaluate various factors contributing to stunting in Central Java Province, including life expectancy, average years of schooling, per capita income, gender development index, and government assistance for the mother and child sector. Panel data is the type of data used in this study using a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is quantitative and uses panel data consisting of time seris and cross section data presented in one table. Central Java Statistics Agency is used as a reference data in this study called secondary data. Poor nutrition is the dependent variable used, while the independent variables used include Life Expectancy, Gender Development Index, Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Number of Family Hope Companion Recipients. Analysis using panel data regression by performing the Chow Test and Hausman Test to determine the best model is the analysis technique used. Then look at the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable and draw conclusions. The results showed that the Fixed Effect Model was the best model used in this study and showed that the number of stunting sufferers in Central Java was negatively and significantly affected by Life Expectancy (AHH) and Average School Year (RLS). Meanwhile, GRDP or Gross Regional Domestic Product and PKH or Family Hope Program have been proven to have a statistically positive relationship with the number of stunting sufferers in Central Java. Meanwhile, although the Gender Development Index (IPG) is negative, statistically it has not been able to affect the stunting rate in Central Java during the 2020-2022 period.

Implementasi Program Keluarga Harapan Di Desa Ciwangi Kecamatan Balubur Limbangan Kabupaten Garut

This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in the Ciwangi Village, Balubur Limbangan District, Garut Regency. Several issues were identified in the implementation process, causing it to not run smoothly. This was due to various factors related to policy substance, the behavior of implementers, network interaction, target group participation, and resources in the implementation in Ciwangi Village, Balubur Limbangan Subdistrict, Garut Regency. The theory used in this research is the policy implementation theory proposed by Muchlis Hamdi (2014), which consists of policy substance, the behavior of implementers, network interaction, target group participation, and resources. This research utilized a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informant selection technique employed was purposive sampling, with a total of 8 informants. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Family Hope Program in Ciwangi Village, Balubur Limbangan District, Garut Regency, has not fulfilled several factors crucial for the success of policy implementation. However, there are also factors that have been fully met, such as policy substance and network interaction.

Analysis of Stunting Incidence Based on Knowledge, Maternal Characteristics, and Nutritional Status

One of the issues impeding human development worldwide is stunting. This study's goal is to examine the prevalence of stunting according to characteristics, knowledge, and nutritional status in Kebayoran District, South Jakarta. This kind of study uses a cross-sectional research design and is quantitative in nature. This research was conducted in Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta, during November-December 2021. All mothers with toddlers made up the study's subjects, with a sample of 50 subjects participating in the Family Hope Program (PKH) with purposive sampling techniques. Data collection method using questionnaires. Logistic regression and the Chi-square test are the statistical tests that are employed. The results showed maternal knowledge with a p-value of 0,044, age (p-value = 0,031), educational attainment (p-value = 0,012), marital status (p-value = 0,837), economic status (p-value = 0,000), and nutritional status (p-value = 0,000). In conclusion, a relationship exists between knowledge, characteristics (age, mother's education level, mother's working status, economic status), and nutritional status in relation to stunting. Additionally, there is no connection between the prevalence of stunting and marital status. Education, economic status, and nutritional status are the primary determinants of stunting incidence in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in Efforts to Control Provety in Bekasi Regency

Indonesia is the country with the fourth largest population in the world. One of the problems faced by the Indonesian people is in organizing the life of society, nation and state. This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program and community perceptions of the impact of the Family Hope Program in Karang Satria Village, North Tambun District. This research paradigm uses the constructivism paradigm. The research design is a case study. The research design is a case study. The research method used is qualitative, including observation, in-depth interviews with informants and the community, literature study, and documentation, to measure the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and community perceptions. Assessment indicators include understanding the program, being on target, being on time, achieving goals, and real change. The researcher then developed the determined indicators into interview question items. Data processing and analysis techniques consist of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. This research concludes that the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) for beneficiaries in Karang Satria Village has been able to help reduce the burden of community expenditure, but PKH cannot be said to be completely effective in controlling poverty and increasing income, as seen in this research. from indicators that are right on target and on time. Because PKH only assists individuals who meet the criteria, many rural communities still experience uneven economic growth.

Empowering Little Fighters: Post-Cardiotomy Pediatric ECMO and the Journey to Recovery.

Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) has long been used for cardiorespiratory support in the immediate post-paediatric cardiac surgery period with a 2-3% success as per the ELSO registry. Success in recovery depends upon the optimal delivery of critical care to paediatric patients and a comprehensive healthcare team. The survival benefit of children placed on central veno arterial (VA) ECMO following elective cardiac surgeries for congenital heart disease (n = 672) was studied in a cohort of 29 (4.3%) cases from the period of Jan 2018 to Dec 2022 in our cardiac surgical centre. Indications for placing these patients on central VA ECMO included inability to wean from cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), low cardiac output syndrome, severe pulmonary arterial hypertension, significant bleeding, anaphylaxis, respiratory failure and severe pulmonary edema. The mean time to initiation of ECMO was less than 5 h and the mean duration of ECMO support was 56 h with a survival rate of 58.3%. Amongst perioperative complications, sepsis and arrhythmia on ECMO were found to be negatively associated with survival. Improvements in the pH, PaO2 levels and serum lactate levels after initiation of ECMO were associated with survival benefits. The early initiation of ECMO for paediatric cardiotomies could be a beacon of hope for families and medical teams confronting these challenging situations. Improvement in indicators of adequate perfusion and ventricular recoveries like pH and serum lactate and absence of arrhythmia and sepsis are associated with good outcomes.

Meeting basic physical-biomedical needs of children under 5 years; does the family hope program work?

<p><strong><em>Background</em></strong><em>: f</em><em>ulfillment of the basic physical biomedical needs of children under five affects their growth and development. Most poor families pay little attention to the basic needs of their children due to lack of knowledge and the economy. </em><em>To overcome this, the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has issued social security to reduce the number of poverty and social welfare cases called the Family Hope Program (PKH)</em><em>. </em><em>Within the health sector, KPM (Beneficiary Families) are required to ensure the provision of fundamental healthcare services for children under the age of five. These services include monthly regular vaccines, biannual administration of Vitamin A, and monthly monitoring of the children's weight</em><em>.</em><em></em></p><p><strong><em>Objectives</em></strong><em>: t</em><em>his study aims to analyze the </em><em>impact of c</em><em>onditional </em><em>c</em><em>ash </em><em>t</em><em>ransfer programs</em><em> on </em><em>the fulfillment of basic physical-biomedical needs</em><em>. </em></p><p><strong><em>Methods</em></strong><em>: w</em><em>e conducted a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. Our research sample was 83 of 289 </em><em>children under five years </em><em>in Patempuran-Kalisat-Jember taken using simple random sampling technique. </em><em></em></p><p><strong><em>Results</em></strong><em>: t</em><em>he results showed that there were no differences in the completeness of immunization (Sig = 0.501), exclusive breastfeeding (Sig = 0.378), routine weighing (Sig = 0.445) and utilization of health services (Sig = 0.845) between </em><em>conditional cash transfer program</em><em> recipients and non recipients.</em><em> </em><em></em></p><p><strong><em>Conclusions</em></strong><em>: This program is considered effective because the majority of children under five have received complete basic immunization and routinely have their weight weighed at the posyandu, but children under the age of five are not given exclusive breast milk. The social service and primary health care need to increase collaboration to provide education about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.</em></p>

Implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Sidomulyo Village, Stabat District Langkat Regency

Implementation is a concrete step in realizing various policies and regulations that have been well structured. The Family Hope Program is the government's effort to alleviate poverty by the Law on poverty alleviation. Social minister no. 1 of 2018 states that the PKH program was prepared with the aim of reducing poverty rates and breaking the chain of poverty, improving the quality of human resources, and changing the behavior of KPMs which are relatively less supportive of increasing welfare. Implementation of the family hope program in the Sidomulyo sub-district, Staba sub-district is the focus of research in this paper. This research aims to analyze how the Family Hope Program (PKH) is implemented in Sidomulyo subdistrict, Stabat subdistrict, and to analyze the factors that influence the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Sidomulyo subdistrict, Stabat subdistrict, Langkat district. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach using interview techniques with key, main, and additional informants. Bureaucratic Performance in the Distribution of Social Aid for the Family Hope Program (PKH) at the Social Services of Langkat District

This research aims to analyze the performance of the bureaucracy in distributing social assistance for the Family Hope Program (PKH) at the Langkat Regency Social Service. PKH social assistance is a program that aims to reduce poverty and improve community welfare by providing regular cash assistance to poor families. However, the effectiveness of this program is very dependent on the performance of the bureaucracy in organizing the distribution of this aid. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive method to explain the performance of the bureaucracy in implementing the PKH program. The research results show that the bureaucratic performance in administering PKH social assistance in Langkat Regency has several weaknesses, including the slow process of distributing aid, a lack of coordination between related agencies, and irregularities in aid distribution. These factors hinder the effectiveness of the program and cause dissatisfaction among aid recipients. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Langkat Regency Social Service improve coordination between related agencies, improve the aid distribution system, and increase supervision of the implementation of the PKH program. Necessary to strengthen the capacity of field officers through training and education related to social assistance management. This is expected to improve bureaucratic performance in implementing the PKH program so that the program's goal of reducing poverty can be achieved more optimally

Evaluation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Taraitak Village, North Langowan District

This study aims to determine, describe and analyze the Evaluation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Taraitak Village, Langowan Utara District in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2018 concerning the Family Hope Program and the PKH Implementation Guidebook using qualitative research methods. The results showed that: 1) There are technical guidelines and rules that have been given by PKH administrators through the implementation of deliberations, but PKH policy actors still do not know in detail the guidelines and rules regarding PKH, then there are 36 KPM PKH in Taraitak Village but there is still no updating of KPM PKH data. 2) KPM PKH receives money sent to the accounts of each KPM and also receives basic necessities at BRI-Link Agents, but the recipients of PKH social assistance in Taraitak village are still not on target. 3) Existing village officials do not know the exact amount of funds received by KPM PKH, but this PKH policy is very useful and even helps the community economy.

Digital Public Relations Dalam Pemanfaatan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) Kementerian Sosial RI

As an agent to serve the needs of the community, the Ministry of Social Affairs is expected and required to have good work productivity in serving the community so that the continuity of an institution/organization must maintain its trust. To support the Ministry of Social Affairs in its communication services, it must be able to achieve unidirectional or effective communication by using the digital public relations communication model to achieve its targets directly. The Ministry of Social Affairs provides social assistance called the family hope program. This program aims to alleviate poverty in Indonesian society, in various categories of social assistance. This type of research is field research with a qualitative descriptive method. Determining subjects used non-probability sampling with purposeful sampling. The number of informants was 4 people, namely staff from the Ministry of Social Affairs, practitioners of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs' Family Hope Program and Digital Public Relations Lecturers. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. The results of the interviews revealed that the Ministry of Social Affairs' digital utilization method in the family hope program built by the Ministry of Social Affairs had been well developed.
