Facebook is the most popular virtual communications platform among social media users around the world. This study is to identify the psychometric analysis of Facebook Privacy Communications Management Measurement Scale of the translated version of Bahasa Melayu. The first study involved 145 Facebook account owners among civil servants in Kedah determined by simple random sampling method. The questionnaire contains demographic information and 18 items of Facebook Communications Privacy Measurement Scale adopted from the Blog's Privacy Management Scale. The original items are rated using the Exploration Factor Analysis (EFA). Four hypothesis models were tested to assess the structure of the best scale based on Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). EFA findings show three components of the scale, namely the Boundary of Ownership, Boundary of Relationship and Boundary of Permeability was formed on 12 items that conform to the original concepts of Communication Privacy Management Theory. The CFA analysis shows a multidimensional model formed to achieve a convergent validity and goodness-of-fit. The second study involved 138 public university students to determine the strength of the study scale. An online questionnaire was disseminated containing demographic information, Facebook Communications Privacy Measurement Scale and Selfconsciousness Scale. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in the second study shows that the three factor multidimensional model of Facebook's Facebook Privacy Management Measurement Scale attains a reliability, convergence validity, discriminant validity, nomological validity, and predicitive validity. In conclusion, Facebook's Communications Privacy Measurement Scheme translated into Bahasa Melayu is suitable for use in the context of study in Malaysia.
