Manajemen Kesiswaan dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Peserta Didik di MAN 5 Jombang

Student management is needed to improve student achievement. Students will achieve maximum achievement with good management. Therefore, it is necessary to have effective student management in regulating all activities related to students so that educational goals are achieved efficiently.The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing the planning of student affairs management in improving student achievement at MAN 5 Jombang, 2) Analyzing the organization of student management in improving student achievement in MAN 5 Jombang, 3) Analyzing the implementation of student management in improving student achievement in MAN 5 Jombang, 4) Analyzing the evaluation of student management in improving student achievement in MAN 5 Jombang.The research approach used is qualitative with the type of case study in MAN 5 Jombang. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis is carried out during data collection and after all data is collected. The validity test of the data is carried out with credibility standards.The results of this study show that: 1) Student management planning in improving student achievement is planned at the beginning of the year and praised by the head of the madrasah, teachers and supervisors. Planning includes PPDB Planning, Olympic programs, and extracurricular programs. 2) The implementation of student management in improving student achievement is coordinated with the head of the madrasah, deputy head of the madrasah, teachers, Olympic Coaches, and extracurricular Coaches, as well as students. 3) Evaluation of student management in improving student achievement by assessing in accordance with their respective fields, both academic and non-academic by teachers and coaches who are experts in their fields.

IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM SEBAGAI PILAR PENTING DALAM PEMBANGUNAN KARAKTER

The implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an important pillar in building student character in elementary schools is the main focus of this research. Using qualitative methods and case study approaches, this study aims to explore how PAI is implemented and its impact on student character building. Through data collection from observations, interviews, and documentation, comprehensive analysis can be performed to deeply understand the process and effects of PAI implementation. In this study, the implementation of PAI was seen through various programs and activities at PKPPS Minhajurrosyidin East Jakarta Class VI Ula. In addition to classroom learning, PAI is also integrated in extracurricular coaching and daily habituation. This shows that religious education does not only occur in the classroom, but also through student interaction in the school environment. Therefore PAI became more than just a subject. The results of the study confirmed that PAI has an important role in building student character. Through religious learning, students are taught religious values that become the moral foundation in their lives. In addition, aspects of honesty, responsibility, and discipline are also emphasized in PAI learning.

Analysis and Comparison of Extracurricular Implementation in Public and Private Elementary Schools in Bandung Regency

Extracurriculars are activities outside of class hours to form students who are knowledgeable and develop students' talents and interests so that the educational process is not just about subject matter. Thus, this study aims to analyze and compare the implementation of extracurricular activities in one of the public and private elementary schools in Bandung district. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were school principals, heads of extracurricular units, and extracurricular coaches. The results of the study showed that the two schools had started extracurriculars by planning to implementing them well and consistently conducting assessments. There are differences and similarities in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges in the two schools in carrying out extracurricular activities at school. In addition, the two schools still need strategies to overcome the weaknesses and challenges they face in order to make the most of extracurricular activities.

Analisis SWOT Program Ekstrakurikuler di SDN 068 Sindanglaya

The aim of this research is to find out how extracurriculars are implemented at SD Negeri 068 Sindanglaya and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the school's extracurriculars. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research we conducted was field research in which school principals and extracurricular coaches were the subjects. Data collection was taken by means of observation, interviews and documentation. After conducting research, the results showed that extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 068 Sindanglaya had strengths, namely, teachers were actively involved as coaches and trainers supported by external trainers who were experts in their fields and increased students' interests and talents. Meanwhile, the weaknesses are limited time, budget and facilities. The opportunities obtained include cultivating good behavior and character, developing personal potential, skills and interests, and providing opportunities to become outstanding students. However, in its implementation there are also several threats, including a lack of support from parents or guardians of students and a lack of motivation for students to take part in extracurricular activities.

Manajemen Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Non Akademik di SMA Sabiluth Thoyyib Pasuruan

This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data was collected by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis process is carried out starting from data collection, and checking the validity of the data. To check the validity of the research data using the data triangulation method. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Management planning for extracurricular activities in improving non-academic achievement at Sabiluth Thoyyib High School there are 3 activities, namely meetings with stakeholders, extra coordinators and extracurricular coaches, the second is selection for students who participate in extra activities and the last is all students must follow the mandatory extra i.e. scouts. 2) The implementation is held, every Saturday, either extra mandatory or extra optional. 3) The evaluation consists of 2 activities, the first with an assessment of each extracurricular once a month, every mid-semester and one semester. The second is an evaluation meeting from the school with extra supervisors and extra coordinators which is held every mid-semester, semester and yearly.
 

Examining Power and Smash in Female Volleyball Athletes

Leg muscle explosive power is important in someones success in doing smashes in volleyball games. This study reveals the leg muscles explosive power and smash ability level and determines the correlation between the two variables. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a correlation approach. The population in this study were all female volleyball extracurricular participants at SMK Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau City. Data collection techniques and instruments used vertical jump tests and volleyball smash tests. Data analysis using SPSS software showed that leg muscle explosive power was at a low level of as much as 56%, smash ability was at a moderate level of as much as 37%, and a good level of as much as 7%, and there was a significant positive relationship. From the results of this study, it is recommended that extracurricular coaches develop training programs that can increase muscle explosive power

Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Religius Melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Keagamaan Di SMK Negeri Rembang Pasuruan

Religious character education is important for balanced personal development. Rembang State Vocational School has the responsibility to develop students' religious character. This research aims to analyze the strategies and implications of religious extracurricular activities in strengthening students' religious character. The research method is a case study with data from observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that strategies such as group discussions, Tadarus Al-Qur'an, Istighosah, and Al-Banjari shape student character. PAI teachers and extracurricular coaches play an important role. The implication is the formation of a character of responsibility, empathy, strong morals, and creating a harmonious school environment. This religious character helps students face challenges with confidence and better decision-making abilities.

Evaluation of Sepak Takraw Extracurricular Activities at Elementary Schools in Purworejo Regency

This study aims to analyze the results of context, input, process, and product (CIPP) evaluation of extracurricular activities at Elementary Schools in Purworejo Regency. This qualitative descriptive study uses a quantitative and qualitative approach (mixed method). The subjects of this study were principals, extracurricular coaches, and students at Elementary Schools in Purworejo, including one principal, one extracurricular coach, and several students from each Elementary School in Purworejo Regency who were willing to become samples and filled out questionnaires from researchers. The samples in this study were five school principals, five extracurricular coaches, and 50 students. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentage techniques, while qualitative data were presented through data presentation, reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results showed the evaluation of extracurricular activities in Elementary Schools in Purworejo Regency were in the category of poor. Furthermore, each aspect of the evaluation is explained; (1) Context evaluation was in good categories. The indicators of each aspect were as follows: extracurricular background had a result of 2.64 which means it was in the good category; extracurricular goals had a result of 2.39 which means it was in poor category; and extracurricular programs, with a result of 2.47 which means it was in poor category. Then, from those three indicators in context, it had a result of 2.50 meaning it was in good category. (2) Input evaluation was in poor category. The indicators of each aspect were as follows: student condition had a result of 2.47 which was in poor category, facilities had a result of 2.37 which was in poor category, the extracurricular coaches’ competence had a result of 2.53 which was in good category. Then, from those three indicators, the result was 2.46 which was in poor category. (3) The evaluation process was in poor category. The indicators of each aspect are the implementation of extracurricular activities with a result of 2.29, which was in poor category, the evaluation of the extracurricular program of 2.40 which was in poor category, too. Then, from both of indicators, the result was 2.34 which was in poor category. (4) Product evaluation was in the poor category. The indicators of each aspect were results of extracurricular activities of 2.27 which was in poor category, so from this indicator, it could be concluded that in the process resulted in 2.27 which was in poor category.

Penelitian Evaluasi Di SMAN 1 Kota Probolinggo dalam Persiapan Turnamen Basket Walikota Cup

This study aimed to evaluate the preparations for the 2023 Mayor's Cup Invitation Basketball Championship. This study used a quantitative descriptive methodology. The subject of this study was the Principal of SMAN 1 Proboliggo City, which consisted of 1 person. Two extracurricular coaches, four people in charge of facilities and infrastructure, and 22 athletes. Information collection methods through questionnaires and written notes. The Pearson product-moment correlation test performed in SPSS at a significance level of 5% was used to verify the accuracy of the data. Data analysis involves using numerical descriptions with percentages to assess trend significance. Here are some ways to present the findings of the data analysis: 82% (18) of athletes rated "very good," 50% (1 person) of coaches ranked "very good," and 60% (3 people) of managers rated "good." Overall, 78% (2 people) rated the infrastructure condition as "very good," while 85% (2 people) rated the funding condition as "very good" (10 people). In conclusion, the condition of the city basketball team at SMAN 1 Probolinggo, both athletes, coaches, and administrators, has been optimal in preparing for the mayoral cup invitational basketball championship in 2023.

Manajemen Ekstrakurikuler Muhadharah di Madrasah Aliyah

This article has used a type of qualitative research with a descriptive research approach (case study) because it describes management or descriptive interpretation of the extracurricular management of muhadharah at Madrasah Aliyah Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. The main data sources in this study were interview data with the Head of the Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, teachers and Muhadharah extracurricular coaches, and 18 student representatives from each class. The findings of this study are: Planning (Planning) extracurricular muhadharah is going well as seen by involving all components responsible for the stability of activities carried out to achieve madrasa objectives, such as by holding meetings, determining classes, schedules, materials, and so on. Coaches and teachers who function as human resources for extracurricular muhadharah activities can carry out their duties properly. The implementation (actuating) of extracurricular muhadharah activities shows that madrasa leaders/representatives are less proactive in providing motivation that can generate enthusiasm at work. Supervision (controlling) extracurricular muhadharah activities at Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang Madrasah Aliyah, this activity did not run optimally because the madrasa leadership did not formally request a written report on the activities carried out, and informally the leadership did not ask for an explanation verbally or directly on activities that have been carried out.

Strengthening Students' Religious Character through Extracurricular Activities at Muhammadiyah Elementary School

This research aims to determine the implementation, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors of strengthening religious character in the extracurricular activities of Da'i Cilik and BTQ. The research conducted is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this research are the school principal and extracurricular coaches. The data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The researcher serves as the instrument in this research. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity is tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this research show the implementation of strengthening religious character education through the extracurricular activities of Da'i Cilik and BTQ. This includes strengthening religious character through exemplary activities such as habituation, preaching material, praise and advice, and assessment. The supporting factors for strengthening religious character include the availability of facilities and infrastructure, student attendance and seriousness, and parental support. The inhibiting factors include students' lack of self-confidence and the absence of props. The impact of strengthening religious character on students is evident in increased awareness and obligations as Muslims, increased diligence in performing prayer and reading the Qur'an, improved polite and respectful attitudes among students, enhanced self-confidence, independence, and discipline in daily activities in accordance with Islamic teachings.

The Implementation of Artificial Neural Networks to measure the correlation of teacher's workload to the number of own learning media

The use of learning media in the teaching and learning process is an effort to increase the effectiveness and quality of the learning process. However, the need for learning media is not compatible with the number of learning media made by the teacher himself. One of the factors that causes it is the teacher's workload which is quite a lot so that the teacher does not have enough time to make his own learning media. This study aims to measure the extent of the correlation between the teacher's workload and the amount of instructional media that the teacher himself made. Artificial Neural Network with Backpropagation method is a tool that can be used to solve complex problems, one of which is to measure the level of correlation. The ability of an Artificial Neural Network with the Backpropagation method to adapt to changes that occur in the input and output values makes the prediction accuracy quite high. The teacher's workload variables used are the number of face-to-face hours of even and odd semesters, additional assignments (deputy principal/head of laboratory), homeroom teacher, and extracurricular coaches. The target used is the number of learning media made by the teacher himself. The data used in this study were taken from the workload of teachers at SMAN 4 Payakumbuh in 2022. The architectural patterns used are 5-4-1, 5-5-1, 5-7-1, 5-10-1, and 5- 12-1. From the test results with the Matlab R2013a software, the best pattern was obtained, namely the 5-12-1 pattern with an MSE value of 0.1001, a MAPE of 2.11, and a data accuracy of 97.89%. From the results of the training and testing, it was concluded that the correlation between the teacher's workload and the amount of self-made learning media is very low or not closely related.

Cultural Differences and Coaching Styles of Physical Education Teachers in Hong Kong and Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to make a comparison between training culture in the perspective of digital technology and the approach of middle and upper volleyball coaches in Hong Kong and Indonesia to get reflection or feedback, as well as recommendations from the research results obtained for improvement. the quality of coaches in both countries. Comparative study research method with a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis used t test, or different test. The sample used in this study is a purposive sample from the two countries with the subject being a volleyball coach who practices at high school or equivalent. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the average differences in respondents' answers regarding the use of digital technology and training culture and training style between the two countries. The higher the average, the better the culture and style of training in a country. Data normality analysis with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Homogeneity with Lavene's Test. The research subjects were 85 high school volleyball extracurricular coaches in Indonesia, and 22 coaches from Hong Kong. The findings of the research results Sig.(2-tailed) value (0.038 0.05) there is a significant difference between the culture and coaching style of volleyball coaches in Indonesia and coaches in Hong Kong. There are significant differences between culture and coaching styles in the context of digital technology in volleyball practice in Indonesian and Hong Kong high schools.

Strategi Manajemen Kesiswaan Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Akademik Melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakulikuler

The purpose of this study was to analyze student management strategies in increasing academic achievement at Madrasa Aliyah Bustanul Quran, 2) to analyze student management strategies in increasing extracurricular achievement at Madrasa Aliyah Bustanul Quran). This study uses a qualitative research approach, with a case study type of research. The subjects in this study were school principals, deputy head of student affairs, and teachers. The results of the study show that, 1) The application of student management strategies in motivating to shape student character is carried out by the deputy head of student affairs through the implementation of good management functions starting from planning by making work programs, then organizing by structurally forming and coordinating with extracurricular coaches at the madrasa. 2) The student management strategy in motivating to shape student character which is carried out in accordance with the work program has implications for madrasas, especially students. Students can always develop their talents and interests through various coaching activities in madrasas and get achievements in their respective fields. Students always get the same attention by teachers, especially student coaches in the smoothness and success of their learning in madrasas

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SIMPLE MULTI-ATTRIBUTE RATING TECHNIQUE METHOD IN DSS SELECTION OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Cibungbulang are a means of exploring student competencies. Currently, students can choose extracurriculars without considering their interests and talents. It creates problems for extracurricular coaches because it is challenging to explore student competencies. In this study, the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method was implemented and implemented in a decision support system to overcome this problem. This study used four alternatives: Basketball, Volly, Aikido, and Futsal. At the same time, the criteria are interests, talents, schedules, and achievements. The type of criteria used is benefit criteria. The decision support system is designed using object-oriented design and built on a web-based basis. The decision support system is access by every user registered on the system.

Talent Guidance Assistance in Junior High School Basketball Extracurriculars in Sukoharjo Regency

Talent scouting is part of the achievement development process. Basketball is an extracurricular activity owned by almost every junior high school. Sukoharjo Regency is one of the districts with basketball coaching conditions that depend on extracurricular coaching. The management of basketball extracurricular activities is not as good as that of a club or academy. Schools are generally only able to employ one coach for extracurricular basketball. The coach is responsible for simultaneously fostering the achievements of the men's and women's teams. Coaching is a heavy responsibility because the treatment of extracurricular activities between boys and girls must be different. Support for facilities and infrastructure is also a problem because most schools have multifunctional fields that must be used interchangeably. Student participation in basketball extracurricular activities occurs voluntarily. That participation process proves there is no scientific selection process in recruiting participants for basketball extracurricular activities. Sport-themed extracurricular activities pay close attention to anthropometry and physical condition readiness. Coaches for basketball extracurricular activities need help to facilitate the coaching process. Talent scouting can be used as an alternative to facilitate the process of fostering extracurricular activities. Talent scouting can be used as a form of selection for students who want to join or as an instrument to determine the condition of students who have joined extracurricular activities. Assistance to basketball extracurricular trainers is carried out directly by employing "FKOR UNS Goes to School". Trainers will be given a theoretical explanation and invited to be directly involved in the test and measurement process.

Manajemen Pengembangan Bakat dan Minat Peserta Didik di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tidore

The research aims to elaborate on the management of talent and interest development in students at Islamic High School (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri, MAN) 1 Tidore and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of developing interests and talents in students at MAN 1 Tidore. The results showed that talent and interest development management was managed by the deputy head of student affairs, extracurricular coaches, student organization coaches, and students council (OSIS). Management stages include planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research contributes to the management studies on developing students' talents and interests in Islamic schools integrated into the school system and elaborates on the supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors for the implementation of the management of the development of student's talents and interests include the solid cooperation and performance of all madrasah parties, the effective and efficient use of funds through BOS funds, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the figure factor of the principal of MAN 1 Tidore. The inhibiting factors include spreading Covid-19 and natural/weather factors, irregular (routine) extracurricular activities, and the absence of counselor teachers.

Learning Management In The Development Of Social Skills For Madrasah Aliyah Students (qualitative analytical descriptive study on man 1 and man 2 tasikmalaya regency)

The background of this research is the weakness of teacher learning management in fostering students' social skills which implies the low ability of students to build oral and written communication. The focus of the problem is how to improve teacher learning management so that the development of students' social skills is increased, especially in building student's oral and written communication optimally. The purpose of the study was to find out the management of teacher learning at MAN Tasikmalaya Regency in the form of policies for planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, learning problems and solutions in fostering students' social skills. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Data obtained from interviews, observations and document studies. Data analysis uses individual case data analysis techniques and cross-case data analysis (cruss-cases analysis). Checking the validity of the data is carried out through member checks, and discussions with colleagues based on the findings obtained, Learning Management at MAN 1 Tasikmalaya Regency partially has similarities with both holding scientific learning and authentic assessment referring to the 2013 curriculum and Education System Law number 20 of 2003. Learning planning in fostering students' social skills is carried out at the beginning of each school year through madrasa work meetings with the agenda of compiling and establishing operational curricula, syllabus development, preparation of annual programs (Prota), semester programs (Prosem) , learning implementation plans (RPP), preparation of teaching materials by each subject teacher, and subject cluster teams, preparation of supervision or learning evaluation tools. Organizing learning in fostering students' social skills is carried out through mapping the duties of subject teachers and extracurricular coaches, scheduling, fulfilling workloads and additional teacher assignments. The implementation of learning in social skills development is carried out through scientific learning management where students as learning subjects can observe, ask questions, collect information, associate, communicate learning materials. Supervision of learning through authentic assessments during the learning process takes place to measure students' abilities in building question-and-answer communication, reasoning, making stories orally and in writing. The development of students' social skills is carried out through oral and written communication in the management of scientific learning and authentic assessment of intracurricular and extracurricular activities can run well, although there are still shortcomings and weaknesses. Problems that arise in learning management in fostering students' social skills are accommodated through follow-up plans (RTL) and solutions for preparation for improvement of learning activities in fostering students' social skills to achieve further goals on an ongoing basis.

Hubungan Antara Media Pembelajaran Online Dengan Hasil Belajar Kelas Viii.7 Dan Viii.8 Pada Kegiatan Ektrakulikuler Pramuka Di Smp Negeri 7 Padang

How is the Education Character Implemented? The Case Study in Indonesian Elementary School

Today, the attitudes and behavior of Indonesian students are declining. Schools as a component of character building have an important task in inculcating morals, ethical values, noble character, and strong and tough characters. This study was conducted to analyze the implementation of character education in Indonesia. The qualitative research using an ethnographic approach was used in this study on the implementation of character education in elementary schools. A total of 115 participants were interviewed at the school, including principals, teachers, extracurricular coaches, parents, and students. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used as the research instrument. From the results of this study, it was found that character education was very much needed in learning. The character education that was implemented in the elementary school sample includes religion; discipline; responsibility; leadership; tolerance; cooperation; love cleanliness; neatness; courtesy; perseverance; bravery; self-confidence; economical; independence; honesty; acceptance diversity; nationalism; Justice; creativity; and reward achievement. This study also described the character education strategies applied in elementary schools, namely, exemplary; habituation; school climate conditioning; integration in learning across all subjects; and integration through extracurricular activities.
