High expression of MIAT is closely associated with large tumor size and distant metastasis in OS patients. Knockdown of MIAT inhibits cell proliferation and metastasis, and promotes apoptosis in OS cells in vitro. MIAT promotes OS progression by functioning as a ceRNA via sponging miR-128-3p to up-regulate VEGFC in vitro. These findings may provide new insight into the roles of MIAT in the tumorigenesis of OS. 908 MicroRNA-365 Promotes the Contractile Phenotype of Venous Smooth Muscle Cells and Inhibits Neointimal Formation in Rat Vein Grafts Bo-Jun Cao, Lei Zhu, Xiao-Wen Wang, Rong-Jiang Zou and Zhi-Qian Lu MicroRNA-365 (miR-365) levels are substantially reduced in rat vein grafts at 7, 14, and 28 days post-grafting. Overexpression of miR-365 promoted smooth muscle-specific gene expression and inhibited venous SMC proliferation and migration. Consistent with this, overexpression of miR-365 in a rat vein graft model significantly reduced graftinginduced neointimal formation and effectively improved the hemodynamics of the vein grafts, suggesting its potential therapeutic application for prevention of vein graft failure.
