I am an enrolled nurse undertaking an open learning course and working on an elderly care unit. As part of my study I am revising our pain management/assessment practices and plan to introduce pain assessment tools to the unit. I would like any information on pain management or anyone's experience of using pain assessment tools on elderly care units.
