Penerapan Lima Prinsip Dasar Pesantren Tebuireng dalam Membentuk Karakter Santri di Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang

The Five Basic Principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School is the main motto used by the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School in implementing the character of its students. These five characters are a summary of the seventh supervisor of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School (KH. Salahuddin Wahid) which he took from one of the books written by Hadratus Shaykh KH. Muhammad Hasyim Asy;ari, namely in the book "Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'alim". The five characters are 1) Sincerity, 2) Honesty, 3) Responsibility, 4) Hard work, 5) Tolerance. The focus of this research is: 1) the concept of the five basic principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, 2) the application of the five basic principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School to the character formation of students, 3) supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the five basic principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School. In this research, the author uses a qualitative type of research with a case study research approach. Data was collected using three techniques, namely: 1). Interview. 2). Observation, 3). Documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use several things including: extending participation and triangulation.The results of this research are: 1). The application of the Five Basic Principles of Tebuireng is one of the strategies used in education to shape the character of students. The administrators and supervisors carry out their duties in accordance with the main tasks and functions that have been determined by the Islamic boarding school, providing understanding and evaluation to the students is the main factor in success in forming the character of the students, 2). The application of the Five Basic Principles of Tebuireng in forming the character of the students is based on the room supervisor system, then strengthened by the boarding school administrators and supported by bandongan studies by the caregivers using the book "Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'alim", 3). Supporting factors in the implementation of the Five Basic Principles of Tebuireng are the role of Islamic boarding school caregivers who review and explain in detail the source books of the founder of Tebuireng Islamic boarding school, as well as the system of guiding one person in each room. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the existence of several supervisors who have different ideas in implementing the room program and the lack of maximum performance by several supervisors in carrying out the main duties and functions of the Islamic boarding school

Pengembangan Desain Pengelolaan Metode Mudarosah di Pesantren Tahfidz Bani Yusuf Malang

In the current era, memorizing the Qur'an is not an easy matter, because humans are busy with their respective activities, making it difficult to prioritize memorization time, and memorization activities are fairly monotonous. This study aims to overcome the problems in managing the mudarosah method at Pesantren Tahfidz Bani Yusuf so that the mudarosah method can run regularly and get maximum results. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Researchers chose observation, interview and documentation techniques in collecting data, then chose purposive sampling techniques in determining informants. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. Researchers used triangulation techniques with the type of source triangulation as a data validity check. The results showed that the concept of developing a management design for the mudarosah method at Pesantren Tahfidz Bani Yusuf consisted of four stages, namely planning, organizing, implementing and controlling/supervising. Supporting factors in the implementation of the mudarosah method, namely the enthusiasm and consistency of the students, the existence of mudarosah supervisors and attendance, a clean recitation place and the role of the management in reminding students. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the students' busyness, memorization partners who are unable to attend and the full capacity of the mudarosah place.

How Does Governance, Individual Internal Factors and Supervisory Functions Affect the Quality of Savings and Loans Cooperative Financial Reports?

Cooperatives are essentially a financial institution that functionally plays a major role in the running of the economy in micro-regions that cannot be reached by banks. In 2022 hundreds of cooperatives in Karangasem district will not carry out financial reporting which will have an impact on public confidence in the sustainability and security of cooperative financial conditions. The author aims to analyze empirically whether management, individual factors from the cooperative and the existence of supervisors can affect the quality of a financial report which will be an indicator of performance evaluation at the annual member meeting. Cooperatives in the sidemen sub-district of Bali province are used as research areas. The data was obtained directly from 30 respondents who are cooperative staff and come from ten active cooperatives in the sidemen area. Data collection was supported by a paper questionnaire and analyzed using the regression method. The results of the tests conducted found that corporate governance as measured by good corporate governance and individual factors as measured using education and level of understanding of accounting had a positive impact on the quality of financial reports in contrast to the function of the oversight body and individual factors as measured using work experience did not show any impact significant.

The Implementation of Merdeka Learning Curriculum by Minister of Education at Senior High School in Banda Aceh

School supervisors have the main tasks of monitoring, supervising and evaluating the implementation of education. The existence of school supervisors is to provide guidance and supervision in increasing the effectiveness of education in schools. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to describe: (1) the supervisory development program regarding the academic supervision competency of the principals; (2) the implementation of the supervisory development program; (3) the evaluation of the supervisory development program; and (4) the follow-ups of the supervisory development program. This qualitative research was conducted by means of a descriptive approach in State Kindergarten 2 and State Kindergarten 6 of Banda Aceh City. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) the preparation of the supervisory development program was carried out at the beginning of the fiscal year and consisted of a managerial program plan and an academic program plan. In addition; (2) the implementation of the program had particular stages and schedules; and (3) the evaluation of the program was more about the personal assessment of the principal with certain supervision schedules. Lastly, (4) the follow-ups and the solution regarding the obstacles were in the forms of facilitating training programs related to teacher performance assessment, increasing the intensity of supervision or class visits and increasing programs for academic supervision and teacher performance assessment on a regular and continuous basis.

Building Community Participation through Participatory Oversight in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections

Democratic elections require public involvement in all stages of the electoral process, including election monitoring itself. This community service project is carried out with the aim of helping novice voters understand the importance of participatory supervisors in the simultaneous elections of South Buton Regency in 2024. The answer to the occurrence of election violations is the existence of participatory supervisors, which will be able to assist and facilitate the task of supervisory institutions in supervising sustainable democratic participants, this is done for the sake of creating honest, fair, clean and integrity elections. Then Bawaslu must provide thorough training and direction to participatory supervisors so that they know and fully understand their duties and obligations in overseeing the democratic party. After this service activity is carried out, the output objectives to be achieved are patterns of knowledge and awareness of the relevance of participatory supervision in the 2024 simultaneous elections in the South Buton region. This activity was carried out through socialization, therapy, and questions and answers. The result of this community service activity is the existence of participatory supervisors in the elections in South Buton district, which will provide awareness for political actors, election organizers, and stakeholders to take care of themselves, maintain the spirit of their parties to stay on the rails according to their respective portions, so as to produce post-conflict elections that are honest, fair, and have integrity both in terms of process and results.

User Satisfaction Assessment of Final Project Supervisor Monitoring Information System Using User Experience Design Method

Completing the final project takes a guiding process n the final project where the concept of final project guidance itself is an effort to help students to provide direction, assistance, suggestions, and criticisms that arise from the preparation of the final project by the supervisor. However, sometimes the guidance process is not optimal. Lecturers or students themselves can cause this. The difficulty for lecturers to help students during tutoring is the limited communication time that is too narrow on campus and the difference in busy schedules between students and supervisors. Managing the time for the final independent project is also an obstacle that causes the completion of the final project to be delayed. Some students tend to be less active in carrying out guidance if the supervisor does not provide a fixed guidance schedule or does not provide a target time for students to complete the revision of the final project from the supervisor. So, it is necessary to build an information system for monitoring the final project supervisor to monitor the existence of supervisor. This study uses the User Experience Design Process to increase user satisfaction in interacting with the product. And at the final stage, a Usability Testing evaluation is carried out to test the product's usefulness. Motivasi Pengawas Sekolah dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang

One of the important pillars in the world of education in Aceh Tamiang Regency is the presence of school supervisors. The number of supervisors for junior high schools in Aceh Tamiang District is relatively limited. The purpose of the study was to analyze the motivation of school supervisors in improving the quality of teachers in Aceh Tamiang District. This qualitative research uses interview, observation, and document techniques. The results of the study indicated that the motivation of school supervisors in improving the quality of education in Aceh Tamiang Regency is very much needed. Their motivation in improving the quality of education in Aceh Tamiang District is a way to achieve eight national education standards. The number of school supervisors for the junior high school level is still very limited when compared to the number of schools. Accordingly, this is the case in Aceh Tamiang District. The existence of school supervisors is important to motivate educators and education staff in the education unit to improve the quality of their work. The quality of education in schools is the responsibility of a supervisor. To solve this problem, a policy should be taken by the local government through the Education and Culture Office of Aceh Tamiang Regency to increase the number of school supervisors for the junior high school level.

Dynamics of Village Head Election Arrangements

This study aims to analyze the arrangement of village head elections from the beginning of independence until now. The method used in this study is the normative legal research method regarding primary and secondary legal materials. The legal materials obtained are then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the arrangement of the selection of village heads has its dynamics in line with the development of the politics of the law of the state that occurs. The existing legal, political conditions influence determining the conditions for the candidates of village heads. Although it has been regulated for a long time, it turns out that all existing laws and regulations have not made arrangements related to the provisions of the supervisory mechanism and the mechanism of resolving disputes for the selection of village heads. Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs on the Selection of Village Heads attaches supervisory duties to the regional election committee. However, it does not make arrangements for how the surveillance process should be conducted.On the one hand, in the regulation, it is expressly mentioned the existence of supervisors in the implementation of village head elections. Nevertheless, it did not specify who the superintendent was. Similarly, the settlement of disputes for the selection of village heads is left entirely to the Regent /Mayor to do so. Granting authority to the head of the region can undermine the democratic process built by the village through the selection of village heads.

Robust supervisory control of discrete event systems against intermittent loss of observations

We address in this paper the design of robust supervisors that are able to cope with intermittent loss of observations and also make the controlled system achieve the specification language under nominal operation. In order to do so, we introduce a definition of robust observability that leverages possible observations of the events that are subject to intermittent loss of observations and address language permissiveness by extending the recently introduced definition of relative observability to robust relative observability. We present necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of robust supervisors that make the controlled system achieve robustly controllable and observable or relatively observable languages and present a characterisation of all achievable languages. A running example illustrates all the results presented in the paper, and an example taken from the open literature is used to illustrate the efficiency of the robust design strategy proposed in the paper.

How selfish individuals achieve unselfish goals: majority-based progressive control of discrete event systems

ABSTRACT We present majority-based progressive control in which local supervisors have not only their own private specifications as primary goals, but an additional global specification representing a desirable behavior of the overall system. The control policy follows the majority rule, and the ultimate goal is to achieve a progressive closed-loop behavior whereby the number of local supervisors meeting private specifications increases as the controlled system evolves. For this purpose, we present the notion of majority-controllability of a global specification, and show that it is a crucial condition for the existence of local supervisors achieving a progressive global specification. Using the presented control theory, we analyze how the federal estate tax in the Unites States was repealed in 2010.

A Belief-Evolution-Based Approach for Online Control of Fuzzy Discrete-Event Systems Under Partial Observation

In this paper, we investigate the partially observed supervisor synthesis problem in the framework of fuzzy discrete-event systems (DESs). The goal is to synthesize a fuzzy supervisor such that the behavior of the closed-loop system is within a given fuzzy language. A new approach for solving this problem is proposed based on the idea of belief evolution. Specifically, we propose an algorithm that can be implemented in an online manner. We show that the proposed algorithm is both sound and complete, i.e., it effectively solves the supervisor synthesis problem. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first algorithm with such a property for fuzzy DESs, as previous works on this topic mostly focus on the supervisor existence condition rather than the supervisor synthesis problem.

6. The effects of cognition and affect based trust on organization identification

This study aims to investigate the effects of cognition and affect-based trust on organizational identification and test whether the predictive power of these two trust dimensions differs for male and female employees. Data were collected from 161 white-collar employees of a Turkish public organization. The results of path analysis did not support the hypotheses indicating that affect and cognition-based trust positively predicted organizational identification. However, the effects of affect and cognition-based trust on identification were found to be significant after controlling the effects of demographic variables and social desirability. In multi-group path analysis, the differential effect of gender was not found to be significant. That is, the effects of affect and cognition-based trust on identification were not stronger for women and men employees respectively. Despite the insignificant effects of trust dimensions, this study demonstrated the importance of overall supervisory trust on the development of identification. In line with Social Exchange Theory, employees tend to reciprocate their supervisors’ trustworthiness by being identified with their organization. Alternatively, employees may feel identification because existence of trustworthy supervisors within the organization could help them to portray good image to both themselves and other people. Metode Tahfizh Al-Qur�an Bagi Pelajar dan Mahasiswa

<p>The Qur�an is God�s holy words which is kept its originality until Doomsday; maintained through Qur�anic memorizing that exists in the heart of the believers (<em>Mu�minin</em>). The students� time both in high school and university is the golden time �? the time that should be maintained well because it has big potency to be memorizer of Qur�an and the originality of Qur�an will be save. The activity of memorizing Qur�an is common obligation for the Muslim (<em>fardhukifayah</em>) and one of the important matters. The main goal of this research is: 1) to know and analysis method of Qur�anic memorizing� in the institution of Qur�an El Fawaz (Rumah al-Qur�an). 2) the main factors that can make it easier to memorize the Qur'an and the inhibiting factors for the students of high school and university, and 3) effective method of Qur�anic memorizing for the students of high school and university.This research is conducted by using qualitative and quantitative approach reinforced with the basis of phenomenology and the method of research is using research action. The data is acquired through primary data; participative observation, deep interview, questioner, evaluation techniques and secondary data; basic skill test which covers (intellectual intelligence test, concentrations, memory, commitment to the task), library research, and documentation study. The findings of the research are: 1) the main factors that can make it easier to memorize the Qur'an for the students; heartily intention; high motivation; intellectual intelligence; using <em>Rasm Utsmani</em>; existence of supervisor and increasing love of Qur�anic memorizing. 2) the inhibiting factors of Qur�anic memorizing for the students; being busy with the routine activities (work); weak motivation; low intellectual intelligence; immoral activities, impatient; not feeling the pleasure of Qur�an. 3) the effective method of memorizing Qur�an for the students; reading Qur�an, five parts (juz) every day, listening the reading of Qur�an through multimedia, <em>talaqqi syafahiyyah</em> with the supervisor, memorizing Qur�an one day one page after Shubuh prayer by dividing in three parts; correlating verses by verses, page by page, surah by surah, and reviewing Qur�an after Magrib prayer and before shubuh prayer with slow reading <em>(al-Tartil</em>) routinely. The conclusion of this research can be pointed that the method application of Qur�anic memorizing in the institution of Qur�an El Fawaz (Rumah al-Qur�an) is effective and there are several key factors and inhibitors in memorizing the Qur'an for students and effective method for memorizing the Qur'an for students without disrupting the routine of teaching and learning activities for students.</p><p>Keywords: Mahasiswa, Metode, Tahfidz al Qur�an, Pelajar,</p>

Robust Supervisory Control Against Intermittent Loss of Observations

We address in this paper the design of robust supervisors for discrete-event systems subject to intermittent loss of observations. We present two definitions of robust observability: a more restrictive one that requires that the language achieved by the supervisor that control the nominal plant be also achieved by the robust supervisor, and a weaker one that also takes into account possible observation of the events that are subject of intermittent loss of observations. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of robust supervisors that make the controlled system achieve weakly and strongly robust observable languages are also presented. A running example illustrates all the results presented in the paper.

Analysis and control of fuzzy discrete event systems using bisimulation equivalence

In order to more effectively cope with the real-world problems of vagueness, impreciseness, and subjectivity, fuzzy discrete event systems (FDESs) were proposed recently. In this paper, we deal with the analysis and control of fuzzy discrete event systems by using bisimulation equivalence. In practice, we design a supervisor such that the controlled system is bisimilar to the specification. Also, a model theorem showing that a supervisor exists over a certain finite fuzzy state space is obtained. Furthermore, the notion of fuzzy state controllability is introduced as part of a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a supervisor.

Modular Supervisory Control and Hierarchical Supervisory Control of Fuzzy Discrete-Event Systems

This paper establishes modular and hierarchical supervisory control theories of Fuzzy Discrete-Event Systems (FDES). It aims to resolve the horizontal and vertical complexities present in large-scale event-driven systems, which are affected by uncertainties in their event and state representations. The modular supervisory control architecture composed of a set of noncommunicating local supervisors, in which one supervisor is assigned for each module having its own sensing and acting capabilities. The notion of separability for languages in FDES is introduced and the property of a language specification of FDES, termed as separably-controllable-observability, is proposed to determine the existence of modular supervisors to the control problem. The hierarchical supervisory control architecture consists of multilevel supervisors assigned to detailed low-level and abstract high-level models of the plant. The notion of output-control-consistency is introduced for languages in FDES. Then, the property called strictly-output-control-consistency is defined for FDES in order to maintain the hierarchical consistency between low-level and high-level FDES modules. The property of H-fuzzy observability is introduced to ensure the hierarchical consistency under the partial observation of low-level FDES. Finally, using the established hierarchical supervisory control theory of FDES, a behavior-based mobile robot navigation example is discussed.

Bisimilarity control of partially observed nondeterministic discrete event systems and a test algorithm

In this paper, the bisimilarity control of discrete event systems (DESs) under partial observations is investigated, where the plant and the specification are allowed to be nondeterministic. A notation of simulation-based controllability and a synchronization scheme for the supervised system are formalized based on the simulation relation between the specification and the plant. It is shown that the existence of bisimilarity supervisors is characterized by the notions of the simulation-based controllability and the language observability, which extends the traditional results of supervisory control from language equivalence to bisimulation equivalence. In addition, a polynomial algorithm to test the simulation-based controllability is developed by constructing a computing tree. This algorithm together with the test of language observability can be used to check the existence of bisimilarity supervisors.

Firm size and compliance costs asymmetries in the investment services

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to find out how effectively implemented are measuring approaches to compliance and whether there is a correlation between the measures implementation, financial specialisation and international activity. The authors evaluate if the regulatory framework implies a measure cost asymmetry, depending both on the proportionality principle and on the existence of different supervisors with an heterogeneous set of enforcement rules.Design/methodology/approachThe analysis is based on a survey involving 84 financial firms (banks, investment companies and insurance companies). Two criteria have been used to interpret the results: the prevailing workability within international and domestic intermediaries; the intermediary typology, creating a distinction between banks other financial intermediaries (FIs) and insurance companies.FindingsItalian financial firms are sensitive to minimise sanctions, but the reputational impact is becoming more important. International firms are more sophisticated than domestic ones for their ability to measure both the probability of non‐compliance events and their severity. Banks show the highest attitude to adopt insurance or financial contracts to minimise the negative impact of non‐compliant behaviours. Small FIs are late in measuring the exposure and losses due to non‐compliance actions.Originality/valueFour years after the Basel Document on compliance, a large percentage of firms is still managing the process within a function with different purposes; nevertheless, reputational impact has become more important. Small intermediaries show a lower attitude to implement a risk management approach, with a capital management sensitivity. This finding addresses the question about the existence of size effect which could reduce the compliance attitude.

Identification of controllable transitions to decide the existence of an optimal liveness-enforcing supervisor for a class of Petri nets

Behaviour permissiveness is an important criterion in evaluating the performance of a liveness-enforcing supervisor for discrete event systems. The existence of uncontrollable events is a standard feature in the supervisory control of discrete event systems. A natural problem arising in this area is the existence of an optimal supervisor when there exist uncontrollable events in a plant. For a class of Petri net models of flexible manufacturing systems, whose optimal liveness-enforcing Petri net supervisors can be synthesized by a particular method through the addition of a set of monitors, this paper aims to identify a set of transitions such that the existence of an optimal liveness-enforcing net supervisor depends on their controllability. The controllability of a transition is decided by solving a linear programming problem to verify whether a monitor with arcs to the transition can act to inhibit it when it is otherwise enabled. A number of examples are presented to demonstrate the application of the proposed methods.
