In this study, we focused on estimating the liquefaction potential index using a multi-criteria method known as the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This index allows us to classify our site based on the significance of the soil liquefaction phenomenon. To achieve this, we first identified the parameters influencing liquefaction. We then assigned weights to these parameters using the AHP method, which required the development of an initial program in EXCEL. Utilizing the determined weights, a second program was developed in DELPHI to calculate the liquefaction potential index. This index enables the classification of the studied soils according to a proposed scale. The DELPHI program, equipped with a user-friendly interface, allows engineers to generate a report providing the liquefaction potential index of the studied site and its classification. The method was validated through several case studies, and the obtained results were compared in two ways: first, with the conclusions provided by a geotechnical laboratory, and second, with the results obtained using the SLAKE software, which specializes in liquefaction estimation. These comparisons showed a very good correlation with our results.
