Background. Rosacea is a known skin disease of the central part of the face, affects people of both sexes and is manifested by the persistence of erythema . Modern literature sources allow attributing this disease to the group of angioproliferative diseases, which are based on the activation of inflammation and angiogenesis. Objective. The aim of the study was to determine the morphological diagnostic criteria for the prescription of the disease and the possible dependence of the histological features of the rosacea vascular forms on the age of the patients. Methods. A retrospective histological analysis of the material of 11 patients aged 21-63 years (mean 40 ± 12.49, median 36 years) with a clinical diagnosis of the vascular form of rosacea was performed in the work. Results. The authors structured the early and late histological characteristics of skin lesions in vascular forms of rosacea, identified the main significant diagnostic criteria for this subtype of the disease, and analyzed their dependence on the age of the patients. Conclusion. The vascular form rosacea or the erythematous-telangiectatic subtype of rosacea has a wide range of pathological features, which requires an individual diagnostic approach in the form of mandatory histological examination of punch biopsies to establish the rosacea subtype, the stage and the duration of the lesion.
