The evaluation of pavement condition is one of the main stages of a SGP, since it is from the data obtained in it that it will be identified if the pavement was well built, if it meets the design specifications and if it needs maintenance. This information is used by the administrative bodies in order to correctly allocate the available resources. For this reason, there is an incentive to automate these processes in order to make them safer and more efficient. Thus, this research has the general objective of analyzing a data collection process by image to be applied in the evaluation of the condition of pavements. For this, digital images of the pavement were collected and then made available to different groups of evaluators through a form. It was possible to verify the reliability of the evaluations made with the images of the pavements based on the correlation and homogeneity of the answers, considering both the evaluation between the groups and the comparisons between the members. It was concluded that the responses showed consistency in the assigned grades and that the assessments using images had little difference between the groups. Thus, the method used can be considered reliable and promising for the process of automating the collection of information on the condition of the pavement using digital images.
