In article modern ethnocultural and ethnopolitical realities of Russia which are designated not only productive interethnic interaction, an intercultural exchange, but also and actions of nationalism, separatism, radicalism and xenophobia reveal. Which participants it becomes frequent student's youth. The analysis of research of degree of expressiveness is carried out in article and a parity of ethnic identity and ethnic tolerance of students of the Ufa state oil technical university. The research objective consisted in studying of problems of interethnic interaction of youth in the polyethnic environment of HIGH SCHOOL, finding-out of opinion of students concerning the reasons of interethnic conflicts and ways of their permission. And also the relation of a student's audience to representatives of different nationalities is considered; the uncooperative altitude reasons to representatives of different ethnoses are established. Besides, possibility of occurrence of intensity and xenophobia in the student's environment comes to light. The essence of the term ethnic tolerance as the determinative reducing display of violence, discrimination, infringement of human rights, and also is given the characteristic of ethnic identity is considered. Internationalization of education demands search of psihologo-pedagogical factors of decrease in interethnic intensity and leads to understanding of importance of formation of positive ethnic identity at students and development in them to ethnic tolerance. The essence and the maintenance of polycultural education as process of formation of the tolerant person reveals, necessity of formation of polycultural education for the Ufa state oil technical university, as method of development of ethnic tolerance, purposeful development in pupils of ethnocultural competence is defined. Recommendations about preventive maintenance of interethnic conflicts in HIGH SCHOOL and intensity decrease in interethnic relations at individual level are given.
