This article aims to discuss in detail the importance of language education in building a cultured character at the PGRI 9 SIDOARJO Junior High School level. Language education has a very important role in shaping the character of students, especially during adolescence which is a crucial period in the formation of their personality. Language education at Junior High School PGRI 9 SIDOARJO provides opportunities for students to develop language skills, both in speaking, writing, reading and listening. Students learn grammar, vocabulary, and language skills needed in everyday life. Language education is also important in building a cultured character. Students are exposed to literary works that represent diverse cultural values, develop empathy, tolerance and understanding of cultural diversity. Language education teaches good communication ethics, respect for the opinions of others, courtesy, and honesty. Students learn to respect and understand the perspectives of others and communicate effectively by taking into account social and cultural contexts. Good language skills open doors for students to acquire new knowledge and access broader information. Language education provides a strong foundation for students in studying other subjects, developing interests and talents, and facing challenges in an increasingly global world of work. This article emphasizes the importance of language education in building cultured character at Junior High School PGRI 9 SIDOARJO. Language education improves language skills, understands culture, and develops inclusive, empathetic, and communicative characters

METHODS OF COMMUNICATION IN THE FAMILY: (HISTORY ABOUT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN CHILDREN AND ETHICAL CULTIVATION FOR CHILDREN) THE CHILDREN)

ABSTRACT The study aims to examine how the communication between children within the family relates to the cultivation of morals for them. The theory considered relevant and used in this study is Family Communication. In contrast, the research method applied in this research using a qualitative descriptive approach. This research also uses content analysis techniques from the group of hadiths that the researchers use to then be analyzed with the focus of family communication research in order to implant ethics for children. The data collection technique is carried out in two stages, namely the study of libraries and documentation. The results of research show that the ethics of communication in Islam are built on the guidance that is indicated by the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Islam teaches to communicate with full civilization, respect, respect for the person who speaks, and so on. When speaking to others, Islam gives a clear foundation on how to speak. When ethics is associated with family communication, then ethics becomes the basis of policy in family communication. Ethics provides a moral foundation in building a susila system against all attitudes and behaviors of individuals or groups in communication. Thus, without ethics communication is judged unethical. The moral behavior of children is reflected in the ethics of communication from their families.The morality of children depends on communication within the family. HADITHS RELATED TO THE ETHICS OF HONEST AND RESPONSIBLE COMMUNICATION

ABSTRACT The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The dirty word shows the dirty habits and the dusty habits in hell.” (HR Al-Bukhari and At-Tirmidzi) In today’s advanced internet world, interpersonal communication is as far away as possible. People in one country can communicate with other people in different countries at the same time. Especially with social media. In short, the problem of interpersonal communication in this century is relatively no obstacle, it is considered something less if no communication funds talk about things that are not important and have interest. And the problem is the content or material of that communication which then becomes a discussion among the wider community. Islamic communications include all the teachings of Islam, including Akidah (belief), Shariah (Islam), and Akhlak. (ihsan).In the Qur’an and Hadith there are guidelines for good and effective communication. We can describe it as a rule, principle, or ethics of communicating in the perspective of Islam. The Principles of Internalization of Qawlan Ma'rufa Perspective of the Quran and it’s Relevance to Ethics Contemporary Communication

This article aims to explain the principles of qaulan ma'rufa which is one of the principles of communication found in the Qur’an. This aims to answer the public's anxiety where there is often a lack of ethics in someone's communication. This research belongs to library research, namely library research, because all of the primary data is written data, especially related to the verses of the Qur’an about the principles of qawlan ma'rufa and their internalization of contemporary communication. The main source is the Qur’an. Also displayed are sources from the hadiths of the Prophet that are related to research where there are also hadiths of the Prophet related to the research. The results of this study indicate that the principles of qaulan ma'rufa as a form of communication that bring benefit to the community must be internalized in the life of the community itself, especially since these principles are part of Islamic teachings.

Counseling on Communication Ethics Through Electronic Media to the Saham Longhouse Community in Landak Regency

The community service entitled "Counseling on the Ethics of Communication through Electronic Media to the Rumah Panjang Saham Community, Landak District" aims to provide electronic media and social media. The use of cell phones and the internet has now penetrated not only urban areas but also rural areas and even remote areas as long as there is a signal and an internet network. The PKM was carried out by the Dedication Team for the English Language Education Masters Study Program, FKIP, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak, at the Saham Long House, Saham Village, Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency, on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 17:00–21:30, and was attended by 52 participants. Activities run well and smoothly. The participants enthusiastically took part in the activity. From the results of the discussion, it could be concluded that the activity was very useful for them, and they hoped that similar activities could be carried out again.

The Shift of University Students’ Communication Ethics in Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Learning

The COVID-19 pandemic has left behind a wide range of effects. As a potential future learning paradigm, one of them is the hybrid learning model. In terms of appearance during lectures, whether directly or indirectly through the use of post-COVID-19 pandemic media, this study attempts to characterize the communication ethics of generation Z students at Sebelas Maret University Vocational School in Surakarta. The quantitative descriptive method is thought to be the most appropriate approach to use in addressing the study objectives. Secondary data is derived from internal data in the education sector, publications, books, and other documentation, while primary data is collected online using semi-open questions in addition to observation. It is possible to conclude that there is a lack of good student communication ethics when it comes to appearance during online learning because not all students have turned on their cameras, not all of them are dressed collared, and not all of them follow the dress code that has been established in accordance with previous agreements in a number of courses.

Etika Komunikasi dalam Naskah Wicara Dora tuwin Wicara Temen tumrap ing dalem Sasrawungan

Indonesian citizens have a low level of politeness in their communication, so there is a need to increase the understanding of communication ethics, especially those that come from local wisdom.The purpose of this study is to present inventations, descriptions, transliterations, edits, translations, and ethical analysis of communication in the manuscript Wicara Dora tuwin Wicara Temen tumrap ing dalem Sasrawungan (for further abbreviation WDWTS). The method employed is the analysis of the document using a philology approach and communication with the research object of text and manuscript WDWTS. The result of this research is that only 1 copy of WDWTS manuscript was found, namely PNRI collection with codex number NB 1090, description of manuscript and text, script transfer from Javanese script to Latin script by correcting 6 word writing, editing 2 words with a single script, translation of text from Javanese to Indonesian with 1 translator's note, and knowledge of text content regarding Javanese views on communication ethics, including (1) communication must be correct, which is the real message; (2) communication must be precise, which is message conveyed according to the situation and context; and (3) communication must be helpful, which is message being delivered contains substance.

The Practice of Mindful Communication Brings the Strong Effect on Spiritual Intelligence of School Students

This study aims to describe the influence analysis of students' mindful communication abilities on the spiritual intelligence of Triratna High School students in West Jakarta. Mindful communication ability is the communication ability that is adequately conveyed by being aware of aspects of language and communication ethics. Character is formed due to an understanding of the three relationships that every human being must experience. Spiritual intelligence is the foundation for intellectual and emotional intelligence to function effectively. This study used a descriptive approach and a quantitative regression method using two instruments to measure mindful communication's effect on students' mental intelligence at Triratna school, West Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between mindful communication and cognitive intelligence. The results of this study contain implications that mindful communication has an essential role for students.

Social Media & Music Videos: Ethics Impact on Grade 6 Students

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the tik-tok application on students' communication ethics in an elementary school located in Sidoarjo Regency. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the type of case study research. The subjects in this study were high school students at SDN Kalisampurno 1 Tanggulangin. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of the tik-tok application had a positive impact on students being more daring to admit when they made mistakes and being responsible, and excessive ones could have a negative impact on students' communication ethics. This can be seen from the results of research which shows that there are still many students who do not meet the indicators of good communication ethics in behaving in school.

Da’i Technology Literacy in Perspective of the Qur'an

The dai's technological literacy is the ability to use, understand, manage and assess an innovation that involves a scientific process to solve problems and know the dai's abilities related to literacy problems. This research aims to reveal the concept of dai's technological literacy in the view of the Koran and to find out the dai's technological literacy competence. The method used in this research is the descriptive analysis method, while the approach method used in this research is a qualitative approach through literature study. The results of this study indicate that the concept of information literacy in the Koran leads to the implementation of information retrieval. In contrast, the concept of communication literacy in the view of the Koran refers to morals and ethics in communication. In addition, technological literacy competencies include basic, primary, intermediate, advanced, technical, and literacy skills. This research implies that the preachers are expected to be able to upgrade themselves and have established literacy in the field of technology so that they can maintain their da'wah activities according to the times.

Ta’awun Siyasi and Winning the Election Fiqh Siyasi Perspective and Political Party Elites

This study explains the meaning of ta’awun siyasi (political cooperation) which is usually carried out by party elites ahead of executive elections. Party elites see ta’awun siyasi not just an election rule but part of a political strategy to boost party votes during elections. In fact, there is great hope from ta’awun siyasi, but the results sometimes don’t go as desired because the impact of the coalition’s tail coat is not worth the energy expended. On the other hand, there is a communication ethic that is sometimes overlooked in addition to neglected siyasi fiqh norms. The main problem of this research study is how to reconcile the essential meaning of ta’awun siyasi with the ethics of coalitionalism in the style of party elites while still upholding the principles of democracy and siyasi fiqh with the historical basis of the 2019 election coalition as a reference for the upcoming 2024 election. This study is a qualitative research that is descriptive in nature describing material objects with an analytical knife from the theory of democracy and fiqh siyasi. The main data sources are interviews, questionnaires and other documents. The results of the study found that the true meaning of ta’awun siyasi describes sincerity and sincerity, partiality for the good and benefit of the public even though sometimes political party elites are more entangled in purely pragmatic interests. The main principles of fiqh siyasi such as the concepts of siyasa ‘adilah, haibah siyasasiyah, istishlah al-’ammah, siyasat al- dunya wa hirasat al-din must become a frame in building group communication.

One of the technologies that has become the main pillar in the development of the industrial revolution is the internet. This technology is growing rapidly, has very sophisticated features and makes it easier for humans to access or carry out an activity. Communication that used to be done face-to-face and using manual tools, has now become very easy. Communication does not have to be done face to face or using manual tools such as letters. With computers and smartphones, humans can communicate with anyone without having to meet in person. It is feared that the development of communication technology will shift ethics in communication. Besides having many good benefits, this virtual communication also has a bad impact on humans. Among them forming an individualistic person and can cause a crisis of social communication, especially in the younger generation. The research in this paper uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Descriptive research is intended to collect detailed actual information that describes existing symptoms, identify problems or examine prevailing conditions and practices, make comparisons or evaluations, determine what others have done in facing the same problem and learn from their experiences to determine future and decisions. The results of the study illustrate that how is the ethics of communication among adolescents, especially women, on social media. Both as a communicator and communicant. Communication ethics that are not good make debates that end in insulting each other. If communication is conveyed with sentences that are impolite, rude, and far from moral values, especially when conveyed on social media which are very heterogeneous in nature, it will produce something that is not useful and can even provoke and result in conflict.

Pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Smartphone Terhadap Etika Komunikasi Generasi Z

Information technology such as smartphones is a tool that can help human work in terms of searching for information, conveying information, processing data and many others. Technology has become a part of life for everyone nowadays. This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of smartphone use on the communication ethics of the z generation (adolescents) in Jorong Langgam, Kinali District, West Pasaman Regency. By using two variables, namely variable X influencing variable Y. This research is included in associative research using quantitative data processing. The sample used in this study was 95 respondents from 1,800 adolescent populations in Jorong Langgam, Kinali District. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be found that there is a significant influence between variable X on variable Y. This is indicated by obtaining the value thutung = 12.375 > ttabel = 1.986 with sig probability of 0.000 < 0.05, according to the hypothesis that if thutung > ttabel then Ho is rejected and Ha ia accepted.

The Curious Case of Carson McCullers: Appropriation, Allyship, and the Problem of Speaking for Others

In this article, I situate the life and work of Carson McCullers within the larger disability studies debate over the problem of speaking for others. The essay makes two arguments that build on one another. The first is for including McCullers more fully in the disabled community and in studies of literary disability, despite her having expressed a small number of ableist comments. The article suggests that McCullers’s experience as a queer disabled woman became a key lens that animated much of her writing. The essay then turns to its second and larger goal, which is to consider how the complicated case of McCullers can help the field distinguish allyship from appropriation and unethical identification. Turning to feminist theorists of communicative ethics Iris Marion Young and Linda Alcoff, as well as Deaf and disability scholars like Rebecca Sanchez, the article ultimately argues that McCullers’s “use” of deafness in The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, though undeniably flawed, is not an act of appropriation but an early historical attempt at allyship from a differently disabled perspective. Her commitment to deafness is driven by a sustained critique informed by the shared afflictions of injustice, but one that also overall refuses to dissolve human difference or speak for deafness.

The problem raised from this research is how Infotainment Journalism in Trans TV Street Brownis Shows, how Infotainment Journalism in Trans TV Street Brownis Shows according to Islamic Communication Ethics. This type of research is qualitative, the main or primary sources are YouTube channels, live broadcasts and websites. Data collection techniques through observation and documentation and use the theory of content analysis. Data collection of most television shows The rapid digitalization in recent years has made television (TV) in Indonesia increasingly abandoned. In this research, the Brownis Jalan-Jalan infotainment provides various types of segment content ranging from social, cultural, economic, and entertainment, even with comedy nuances, adding an impression of interest to the audience who watches to entertain and educate at the same time the life experienced by people in his daily life is depicted in the Brownis Jalan Jalan (BJJ) segment. Islamic communication agrees with Jalaluddin Rakhmat who said that there are six forms of discourse (Qawlan), qawlan is someone's speech or words when communicating between humans which is understood in the Qur'an. The researcher placed qawlan in his research in the form of Qawlan Sadidan, Qawlan Baligha, Qawlan Karima, Qawlan Ma'rufan, Qawlan Layyina, and Qawlan Maysura.

The end of ‘mini-brains’! Responsible communication of cerebral organoid research

Recent developments in cerebral organoid research have sparked widespread interest among the public and scientific communities alike. However, sensationalism and oversimplification of scientific findings in media coverage can lead to false hope, misinformation, and public distrust in science. This opinion article argues that responsible reporting on cerebral organoid research is not only an ethical imperative, but also critical for advancing the field and maintaining public engagement and trust in science. By examining the negative impacts of oversimplification and sensationalism, the article calls for a more responsible and nuanced approach to science communication. The article also highlights the role and responsibility of various stakeholders, including science communicators, journalists, media outlets, scientists, and ethicists, in promoting ethical communication and ensuring that the public is adequately informed about the scientific and ethical implications of cerebral organoid research.

Etika Komunikasi Pada Media Sosial Berdasarkan Perspektif Al-Qur’an


 The rise of misinformation and lies on social media is one of the unrest that occurs in society which has a negative impact on social life, this incident is because there are still many people who are not wise when using social media to communicate with fellow citizens. The purpose of this writing is to examine the ethics of communication that can be applied by social media users in accordance with the views of the Qur'an so that these social media users get many positive impacts in their lives. writing this article using the method of literature study or library research type of text book analysis. Textbook analysis is reading a number of textbooks for reference. The books used are books on interpretation, books on communication ethics, and books on social media, plus related journals. The results of this writing are obtained in using social media must follow good procedures or rules or commonly referred to as ethics. Communication ethics that are in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an, namely Qaulan Karima (Q.S Al-Isra verse 23), Qaulan Sadida (Q.S Al-Ahzab verse 70), Qaulan Baligha (Q.S An-Nisa verse 63), Qaulan Layyinan (Q.S Thaha verse 44), Qaulan Maysiura (Q.S Al-Isra verse 28). These communication ethics must be used by social media users so that good relations are established between fellow users and bring good and keep away from bad for its users in personal life and social life.

The ethics of communicating on social media in using social media. The more technology develops, the more rapidly social media is in today's world, so that we can get to know media communication, namely in this study through social media. In using social media, of course you can't go around like that, but there are communication ethics that need to be considered, in using social media.
 The use of the internet is indeed very helpful and relieves solving problems in everyday life. There is a positive side and a negative side. Therefore, parents and teachers have a very important role in supervising and directing their children in using the internet. Children can choose positive internet content. Indeed, there must be collaboration in instilling knowledge about internet use by separating oneself from negative things.
 Currently the internet is very global in human life, especially in children. For them, the internet is really needed in completing many tasks, but it turns out that the internet also has negative effects on them. Moreover, elementary school age children who do not have mental maturity, are immature in acting and thinking, so they are easily swept up by the currents of globalization.

ETHICS OF SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION ON TIKTOK ACCOUNTS LOADED WITH SARCASM

Gen Z is the largest generation in Indonesia (born 1997-2012) (2020 census results). A generation that enjoys seeking the truth and has access to social media for a long time. They have the most access to TikTok on social media. The issue is that there are many videos on the social media platform TikTok that are sarcastic and contain crude language. What is Gen Z's opinion regarding the communication ethics on social media TikTok that full of sarcasm? In a constructivist paradigm, this kind of qualitative research employs an intrinsic type of case study research methodology. This in-depth interview was conducted with five members of Gen Z from five private university in Jakarta in a semi-structured manner. The outcome: One, according to Gen Z, speaking harshly on social media platform TikTok that is not intended to offend someone is ethical and does not go against the politeness of communication, even though it is full of sarcasm and has a negative impact on society. Depending on the communicator's intention and purpose when communicating; Two, from the perspective of Terminus technikus, knowledge and actions, as well as the capacity to speak roughly, are the results of the learning process; Three, speaking harshly is acceptable as long as it is not intended to be derogatory and is in accordance with manner and custom, which are aspects of human nature; Fourth, dialogic, situational, political, and legal perspectives are employed to elaborate ethical standards on sarcastic accounts. Gen Z does not use religious or ultitarian perspectives; Fifth, speaking harshly can also be used as a way to express courage, optimism, and self- actualization. It can also be used as a way to gain fame and get likes, comments, and followers.
