Importance - performance analysis of destination quality for ecotourism site in Tasik Puteri, Terengganu, Peninsular Malaysia

The aim of this study was to investigate the destination qualities (activities and facilities) at Malaysian ecotourism locations between January and March 2022 using Importance and Performance Analysis. (IPA). Those who have visited Tasik Puteri in Dungun Terengganu are the respondents. The data were analysed and interpreted using the SPSS programme including reliability analysis, importance-performance analysis, and frequency analysis. The findings highlight the Tasik Puteri in Dungun Terengganu ecotourism areas’ destination quality. The result showed that ATV activities and public facilities, such as surau, convenience stores, parking, and waqaf, are found in quadrant 1 for continuing the good work. Facilities in Quadrant 2 should receive special attention, including restrooms, security guards, shower rooms, rental equipment, restaurants, and BBQ areas. Trekking, tubing, river cruises, fishing, and paddle boating are among the low priority pursuits in quadrant 3. While other activities such as camping, swimming, jogging, waterfall, kayaking, and playground facilities make up Quadrant 4’s potential overkill. The destination management company (DMC) will use the study’s findings to improve and strategically plan the short- and long-term development of this and future ecotourism sites. The growing understanding of destination qualities for ecotourism products is highlighted in this paper, along with the academic application of IPA analysis to destination attributes.

The situation of financial surplus at the NU An-Nuur Orphanage in Kediri City in the last 4 years regarding the financial independence strategy implemented so that the manager can fund the needs of the orphanage without prioritizing donation funds. This study aims to determine the foundation's strategy in achieving financial independence at the NU An-Nuur Orphanage, Kediri City. The method used is qualitative, taking the background at the NU An-Nuur Orphanage, Kediri City. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stage begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion or data verification. The validity of the data is done by triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the NU An-Nur Orphanage in Kediri City can be said to be financially independent. The orphanage has several types of organizational independence, namely learning independence, socialization independence, and financial independence. In achieving financial independence, the orphanage implements a number of strategies, implements an independent financial management system, fosters the entrepreneurial spirit of foster children, determines priority sources of income and fosters the spirit of sharing with others in foster children, conducts several businesses, including renting a rented house, boarding house for girls, shops, catering. , livestock business, cloth bags, rental of transportation equipment and cooperation partnerships with Telkomsel. Then for some of the obstacles experienced by the orphanage in managing its business business, the bookkeeping of business results is not adequate, fear of the risk of loss to the business, limited human resources and product marketing strategies have not been maximized.

Atmega328p microcontroller based biometric starting system design for caterpillar D3k dozer heavy operators

Heavy equipment industry is an employment sector with potentially high rate of accidents, which might occur due to the operator's own fault, where he or she does not have competence in operating such an equipment. This operator's fault accident ranks number two after that of the mechanic's accident rate, which is the focus of this research. In line with the latest digital electronic development, companies have been able to solve problems confronted with operators, one of which is through the application of biometric authorization device, which has been expected to be able to reduce the rate in the industrial accidents in heavy equipment rental. This device works by requiring authorization of the operator without inserting the manually inserted ignition key to the machine, but the operator's fingerprint that has been authorized into the system to operate such a machine. This, in turn, Will be able to reduce risks of getting an accident among operators. Fingerprint has its function to recognize the operator's identity as well as password to the electronic Ignition key to the machine that not everybody can get access to operating the machine to start it up. Design of this electronically control device is to produce biometrically engine start-up replacing the currently recognize Ignition switch to crank and switch off the engine using microcontroller ATmega328P system. Results of the study gained from the tests based on the standard operating procedures show based on the standard Operating procedures show a 100% success without any obstacles.

Pengembangan Pertanian Tebu Di Kabupaten Sleman Dan Dampaknya Terhadap Kondisi Sosial – Ekonomi Petani: Studi Pada Koperasi Tebu Sido Makmur

Sleman Regency is a productive area, its agriculture is known to support food security. This is proven by the various awards given by the Minister of Agriculture, one of which is a member of the Sido Makmur sugar cane farmer cooperative, which is located in Kalasan District, Sleman Regency. The award that can be obtained is, of course, due to the development of sugarcane farming. So, the purpose of this research is to examine the development of sugarcane farming and its impact on socio-economic conditions, which is focused on the Sido Makmur Cooperative.
 The method in this study uses descriptive analysis, with purposive sampling technique. While the data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis uses data reduction techniques, categorization, data display and drawing conclusions.
 The results of the study show several things. The first, sugarcane farmers who are members of the Sido Makmur Cooperative have a maximum education up to high school level. Second, the land cultivated by sugarcane farmers is varied, at least 1.5 Ha, while at most 10 Ha. There is land that is cultivated on a lease basis, but there is also one that is owned by yourself. Third, cooperatives have a role in the development of sugarcane agriculture through the steps of forming a business unit for the procurement of retail fertilizer sales, rental of agricultural production equipment, savings and loans and building relationships with sugar factories. Fourth, the role of the cooperative can encourage members of sugarcane farmers to remain productive and as an effort to improve the welfare of members.

Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan yang baik dan benar pada BUMDes

This research was conducted at BUMDes Mosaik Pematang Serai, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to find out how much understanding of village officials in compiling and processing village financial reports so that they can provide further training to improve village officials' skills in preparing village financial reports properly and correctly through community service by providing socialization. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach by means of interviews. Village-Owned Enterprises or abbreviated BUMDes are formed by the village government to improve the welfare of the village community, utilize all economic potential, economic institutions, as well as the potential of natural resources and village human resources. Most of the business entities in Pematang Serai are engaged in savings and loans, party equipment rental, trading business and management of agricultural and marine businesses. The result of this study is that the knowledge of village officials in preparing financial reports is only limited to recording revenues and expenditures, meanwhile in reporting accountability to the government it must follow established procedures. This research is expected to continue as a community service by providing socialization about village accounting to improve the knowledge and skills of BUMDes managers in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra related to knowledge about SOPs for managing BUMDes financial statements.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Persewaaan Alat Berat Berbasis Web dengan GPS Tracker

Rental of heavy equipment is the main business of PT. Tatabumi Adhiraya. In the rental business, PT. Tatabumi Adhiraya not want any loss that may be experienced by PT. Tatabumi Adhiraya as the owner of the heavy equipment and customers as service users heavy equipment. Reporting system with manually recording still certainly will affect the company's performance. It is considered less effective and efficient in supporting employee productivity and satisfaction will certainly affect the customer plus their high mobility leaders of PT. Tatabumi Adhiraya and those customers who do not always be in one place for long periods of time. Of these problems led to the idea to create a web-based application with GPS Tracker, which can perform recording therein the use of heavy equipment in real time and the results can be seen directly by the company and its customers. Pengembaangan method used system is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). Using .Net programming language and MySQL as the database. Supported by the availability of the Internet network and provider of GPS Tracker, the application is expected to provide easiness like recapitulation receivable, contract data summary, recapitulation of payments that can support the performance of employees of PT. Tatabumi Adhiraya and customer satisfaction as well as reports required by the leadership of the PT. Tatabumi Adhiraya or customers can be seen easily, quickly and accurately.

Ungapan Beach: Partner Based Management to Improve a Sustainable Economy

The partnership between the Forest Village Community Institution (LMDH), the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS), and local communities in tourism development has a very important role. However, research on coastal management partnerships along the Southern Cross Route (JLS) Malang Regency has not been widely conducted. This study aimed to determine: (1) the physical condition of Ungapan Beach, (2) partnership of LMDH, POKDARWIS, and local communities in managing Ungapan Beach, (3) harmonization of partnerships between LMDH, POKDARWIS, and local communities in managing Ungapan Beach, (4) the management based on community partnerships of Ungapan Beach for sustainable community economic improvement. This research design used qualitative and quantitative research (mix method). Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, semi-open questionnaires, and documentation. This study indicated that Ungapan Beach has a unique physical condition because it confluences between a river mouth and the sea. The partnership of Ungapan Beach management is carried out by Perhutani partnered with LMDH, and POKDARWIS carries out activities related to the events. The harmonization of the partnership between LMDH, POKDARWIS, and local communities has been shown from various joint management activities at Ungapan Beach in South Malang. LMDH manages beaches, manages parking, tickets, while POKDARWIS manages events for community activities such as shop owners, boat rentals, ATVs, lodging, outbound facilities, and camping equipment rental. The management based on partnership in Ungapan Beach can improve a sustainable economy.

UN Peacekeeping Operations: Features of Arms and Equipment Procurement

In this article, the author elaborates on the structure of the purchase and rental of arms and other equipment used in United Nations peacekeeping missions. Moreover, the author determines the place of the Russian Federation in this process. The objectives of the work are to identify weaknesses in the system of procurement and rental of arms and other necessary equipment by the United Nations peacekeeping forces, determine the place of the Russian Federation in the system and draw up a single step-by-step instruction, Includes an analysis of pre-qualification requirements for the supplier, the UN Supplier Code and various levels of registration with a list of required documents, for registration of suppliers and the participation of the latter in international competitive bidding. Disadvantages of the system of purchase and lease of armament and other equipment necessary for implementation of UN peacekeeping missions have been revealed, imbalance in supply of lethal weapons between the countries of the collective West and the Russian Federation has been found. A number of scientific publications, both domestic and foreign, are devoted to peacekeeping. It follows that the relevance of the article is due to the little study of the structure of procurement and rental of weapons and other equipment used in UN peacekeeping missions.

Optimalisasi Prediksi Tingkat Pendapatan Desa Berdasarkan Jenis Usaha Menggunakan Metode Monte Carlo

Village-Owned Enterprises or called BUMDes are basically a pillar of economic activity in the village that functions as social as well as commercial institutions. BUMDes Rawa Bento is a business entity that is not only engaged in tourism and mountain equipment rental but also provides tour guides, city tours and family gatherings. In achieving optimal results for the use of the budget, a strategy is needed to predict the use of the budget in the following year which requires data on the previous use as material for making decisions. This study aims to predict annual income. So that BUMDes can determine strategies quickly and optimally. The data processed is income data from 2019 to 2021 at the BUMDes Rawa Bento. From the problems that have been explained that village-owned enterprises need a system that is able to predict the use of future budgets, making it easier to make budgets for the future. So this study uses the Monte Carlo method to solve the problem. The Monte Carlo method is a numerical method described as a statistical simulation method. The Monte Carlo method is a method used to assist companies in solving problems, where problems can be solved with uncertainty. The data used as samples were taken randomly. The test results use the Monte Carlo method with an average income of IDR 8,344,028, an average simulation of IDR 8,914,583 and the average percentage value for predictions for 2020 and 2021 is 97%. Every company wants to grow and in order to achieve that, a company needs funding. There are various ways for a company to get funding, be it external or internal. One alternative form of funding is leasing. Leasing is the rental of production equipment by the company (lessee) to the lessor. The company should pay rental fees. Leasing has several advantages over loan financing. The rental fee will be charged at the company's expense. As for loans from financial institutions, only interest costs are charged as fees. This study examines the status of leasing or leasing in companies experiencing bankruptcy. This study uses a normative legal method associated with the company's capital structure theory. This study concludes that the lease is not part of the debt. A lease is a form of a rental contract. Leases do not have a record as a debt on the company's balance sheet. In addition, the guarantee or production equipment leased is the property of the lessor or the lessor. The company does not have the right to own the machines until it is fully paid off. Unpaid rent that is past due can be included in an expense bill like any other expense.

Examining physical activity in users of campus recreation during campus closure due to COVID-19

Campus recreation facilities are a critical resource to encourage physical activity at universities. COVID-19 closures in 2020 led to the shutdown of many campuses, which included campus recreation facilities. Little is known about how the closures impacted the physical activity levels of students, faculty, and staff who relied on campus recreation for physical activity opportunities. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine if individuals who were users of campus recreation prior to campus closure continued to be physically active when campus closed. The survey was completed by 282 previous users (students, faculty, and staff) of campus recreation. Results indicated that 85.8% of participants were meeting physical activity recommendations following campus closure. To support physical activity off campus, survey respondents suggested online exercise classes via social media and allowing equipment rentals. Future efforts should continue identifying ways campus recreation can support physical activity both on and off campus.

TRANSFORMING LIBRARIES AS A PROFIT-MAKING ORGANIZATION TO IMPROVE SERVICE PERFORMANCE

Libraries are non-profit service-oriented organizations engaged in satisfying the patrons' needs by providing them with whatever they seek from the library, i.e., Books, Journals, Magazines, CDs/DVDs, and Online Resources. However, the libraries must face hardships regarding funds which create difficulties in maintaining the libraries and providing better library services. Its high time libraries should become self-dependent rather than depending upon the funds provided by the parental organization. The funds that the parental organization allocates are minimal and do not cover every area pertaining to the library. Purpose: The purpose of the paper is to conceptualize the transformation of libraries into profit-making organizations to provide improved library services. Results: To make libraries a profit-making organization, librarians should go unconventional by making some amends in the library policy like charging money in exchange for some services which were earlier not provided by the libraries, i.e. (1) Rental of equipment: Renting the items like Computers, CD/DVDs, Cassette, among others, can provide some rents. (2) Advertisement: Libraries can charge advertisement costs by promoting books written by authors. (3) Selling the weeding out items. (4) Translation. (5) Reproduction Cost. (6) Service charge on-demand services. (7) Inter-Library Services. (8). Membership Schemes. (9) Book Reservation. (10) Training. The charges incurred from the above services are implemented to make the library a better place by providing better resources and better services. Conclusion: Libraries are meant to be non-profit organizations and must provide services free of cost to the patrons, but the library's primary goal is also to keep the users' satisfaction into consideration. To keep the users satisfied, libraries must keep implementing new policies and procedures to keep them going head on head with time.

Penerapan Metode Time Charter Party Pada Sistem Informasi Penyewaan Alat Camping Berbasis Web

Sinar Adventure Store is a shop that provides camping equipment, this store has many customers who want to rent camping equipment such as tents, carril bags, stoves and sling bags. But the camping equipment rental transaction at this shop still uses the conventional process, so there are still many errors that occur in writing information and data reports on this camping equipment rental. This is the author's reference in designing a web-based camping equipment rental information system, with HTML, CSS, and PHP programming languages as the database. This system is designed using the waterfall method and the system follows the flow of the Time Charter Party method. In data processing, such as recording rental transaction data, it is still stored in a ledger storage media so that data security is not guaranteed because there is no more searching for camping equipment data at the Sinar Adventure Store who still has to wait a long time because they have to find one data person in the books. The purpose of creating this rental system is to overcome the problems that are currently happening at the Sinar Adventure Store store. The results of this study are to provide convenience in the processing of camping equipment data at the Sinar Adventure Store store such as admin data, data rental, ordering, checkout and to simplify the data search process in addition to having a more effective and larger storage media.

Comparative Analysis of Actual Cost and INA CBG Rate in Diabetic Gangrene Inpatients

Background: Diabetic gangrene is a complication of diabetes mellitus that imposes a substantial financial burden on patients and their families as well as the health care system. Objective: To determine the total cost of disease, and the difference between real cost and INA CBG rate for diabetic gangrene inpatients from January - December 2017 at Universitas Airlangga Hospital, Surabaya Methods: The study was conducted retrospectively by using a total sampling method. The perspective used was the hospital perspective. This study's direct medical costs were laboratory, drug and consumable medical device costs, medical equipment rental, radiology examination, red cross, oxygen, service, and room costs. Data analysis was performed using an independent samples t-test. Results: The results showed that 148 patients met the inclusion criteria. The total real cost of diabetic gangrene inpatients at Universitas Airlangga Hospital in 2017 was IDR 1,339,949,381, and the total INA CBG rate for inpatients with diabetic gangrene was IDR 1,365,047,500. The difference was (p = 0.000) between real cost and INA CBG rate. Conclusion: There is a difference between the actual cost and the INA CBG rate for diabetic gangrene inpatients.

Analisis Ekonomis Sewa atau Beli Alat Excavator pada Kegiatan Produksi Bijih Timah PT Prima Timah Utama, Desa Cit, Kabupaten Bangka

Fulfilling the annual production target of PT Prima Timah Utama based on the 2019 Work Plan and Budget of 1,100,000 m3 requires the procurement of adequate mining equipment both in terms of quantity and production capacity, especially excavators. The equipment procurement plan is estimated by calculating the need for tools using a sample of 30 distribution time data, 9-time constraints data, and some supporting calculation data that results in tool requirements. The cost of ownership of the equipment to be compared with the rental cost is obtained from the purchase price, interest, residual value and economic life of the equipment, the cost comparison is then analyzed using the Net Present Value method. The calculation results show that PT Prima Timah Utama must add 2 units of CAT 320D2 excavator for overburden stripping and wash with an estimated equipment cost of Rp. 2,224,076,433.6 for 2 units of new equipment and Rp. 2,541,131,520 for 2 units of rental equipment where the difference between the rental and purchase equipment is Rp. 317,055,086.4 for one year of work. The result of the analysis with the evaluation of NPV investment has a value of Rp. 32,313,773,567.7 or >0 which states that the investment is declared feasible.

Therefore, the author intends to provide support for students facing the Covid 19 pandemic in facilitating the rental of gadget and laptop equipment as well as individual and collective internet packages for Citizen Homes (RW) at affordable prices and open acceptance of donations gadget or laptop for people who want to help students through based applications. web with the Codeigniter framework, namely "NRS" which will be described in this report with the title "MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PANDEMI COVID STUDENT SUPPORT WEB-BASED" which later students can access the web through the browser and the data. will be stored in the mysql database
 
 

Kajian Proses Penilaian Kewajaran atas Transaksi Sewa Pihak Berelasi

This research aims to identify the fairness assessment procedures of related-party transactions by the tax assessor functional at KPP Madya Surabaya as well as the resistancesoccured whilemaking the assessment. This research applies qualitative method with descriptive research type. The focus of this research is to ascertain the assessment procedures carried out by the tax assessor functional at KPP Madya Surabaya with the types of transactions in the form of machine and equipment rental for the cigarette industry between the related-party (PT ABC and PT XYZ) The assessment is achived by adopting the income approach. The results of this study indicate that the valuation of fair market rental rates is implemented by referring to the investment feasibility criteria. The rental price is said to be reasonable if it yields NPV> 0, IRR>WACC and does not exceed the tenant's maximum return level (interest rate for investment credit in 2017 is 10.29% + bank credit risk (insurance 5%)).There are no specific provisions regarding how much numbers are used as long as they meet the criteria used by the tax assessor functional of the Surabaya Tax Office. The Resistance during the assessment process arises due to the lack of taxpayers and related parties disclosure regarding to the data and required information in the assessment. Apart from that, the assessment object which is classified as special property and the conditions during the field visit were different from the day of the assessment

Analysis and Strategy for Heavy Equipment Rental Business Development

Heavy equipment in construction projects, mining industry, agriculture are loaders, wheel loaders, piles, cranes, forklifts, dump trucks, excavators, dozers, boom lifts, truck-mounted cranes (TMC)/hyap cranes, soil compactors such as rollers and compactors, and others. This study aims to identify and evaluate the factors included in the company's internal and external environment as well as analyze and formulate a priority strategy for the development of the heavy equipment rental business in the services division of PT Kawasan Industri Makasasar (Persero)(KIMA). The research method used is a case study. The samples used are 10 samples consisting of 2 commissioners, 1 director, 3 division heads, 4 department heads. Data was collected using questionnaires and interviews, which are then analyzed using the matrix of IFE, EFE, TOWS, IE. The generating strategies from the matrixes are then evaluated using Quantitative Strategic Matrix Planning (QSPM) to provide a priority strategy for the company to grow in the coming future. Evaluation conducted from the matrix indicates that that the current company’s position is the cell of growth and build. In that cell, there are some intensive strategy options available that are market penetration, market development, product development. It also generates integrative-strategy options that are backward integration, forward integration, and horizontal integration. When evaluated the strategy choices using the QSPM matrix, the priority strategy obtained is to carry out an employee capacity development program, especially to operators in the form of service excellence training for customers and knowledge of the importance of occupational safety and health (K3) while at work field (STAS 6.74).

 The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of youth in Bah Butong Village,Sidamanik Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency in the Improvement of The Program of Business Entities Owned by Bah Butong Village, Sidamanik Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency. This research focuses on the role that has been done by the youths in Bah Butong Village, Sidamanik Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency in improving the program of Bah Butong Village Owned Enterprises in Sidmanik Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency. In Bah Butong Village there are BUMDes that focus their activities in the field of services, namely party equipment rental, trade, livestock, small industry, ATV rental services, keyboard rental, village transportation rental. For the development of BUMDes institutions, it is necessary to improve programs involving youth, communities and the simalungun district government. The method used in this study is descriptive method with qualitative approach. This study took primary data through informants and secondary data from related agencies, namely the Head of The Youth Sports and Tourism Office Kabupaten Simalungun,Chairmanof KNPI Simalungun,and Head of the Central Statistics Agency of Simalungun Regency, .The results of the research showed that the role of youth of Bah Butong Village Sidamanik Subdistrict Simalungundalam in the Improvement of BUMDes Bah Butong Program to market ponot waterfall tourism for regional development is with youth acting as social control, moral strength and agent of change where the role is influenced by internal factors, namely: finance, poor management, lack of support from the elderly and lack of control over every activity bumdes Bah Butong and external factors, namely: low level of education, lack of awareness in managing existing natural potential well and natural disasters

Benefit sharing from whale shark tourism in Botubarani, Gorontalo and Labuhan Jambu, Teluk Saleh

Whale shark tourism is a growing industry in the world. This study aimed to determine the benefits local people earn from whale shark tourism at two sites in Indonesia, Botubarani in Gorontalo Province and Labuhan Jambu, Teluk Saleh, Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. This study involved dive centres, fishermen, community tourism groups, village enterprises (BUMDES), home stay owners, car rental companies, boat owners, lift net owners, snorkelling equipment rental businesses and ecotourism operators. In Botubarani, dive centres sold whale shark watching dive trips for US$42.3/pax, and snorkelling trips for US$23/pax, of which, US$4.6 and US$2.7 went to the Pokdarwis, and US$33.5 to the dive centre. For nondivers, trips cost US$11.5, of which US$1.5 was for whale shark bait, US$1.5 went to the Pokdarwis, and US$4.6 to fishermen. Whale shark watchers in Labuhan Jambu paid US$211.5-US$270 to ecotourism operators plus US$7.7/pax to the BUMDES. From that money, US$119 was paid to lift net owners, US$42 to boat operators, and US$19.2-US$76.9 to ecotourism operators. On average, car rental companies received US$46.1, home stays received US$7.6, and US$11.5 was paid for rental equipment.
