Peter gained the Certificate in Equine Surgery (Orthopaedics) and completed a PhD for research into chondrocyte physiology and pathology in articular cartilage. From 2006 to present Peter is a University of Liverpool Lecturer in Equine Orthopaedics. His clinical and research interests include lameness diagnosis, surgery and imaging (particularly MRI), musculoskeletal biology. Referral Clinic: The Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital, University of Liverpool is one of the busiest Equine referral hospitals in the UK, seeing around 2,000 referral cases per annum.
