Modern trends in society, new requirements for vocational education demand a fundamentally new approach in the training of professional and pedagogical staff for different levels of education in Ukraine. One of the main tasks of higher pedagogical educational institutions is the modernization of the system of pedagogical education by introducing rational approaches to the implementation of productive technologies in the training of future educators of preschool educational institutions on the basis of creativity. The urgency of the educational trend is due to the fact that modern society needs a unique, bright, creative individual, who personally determines the priorities of its development, strives for continuous self-improvement, selfdevelopment and professional activity, is able to produce new ideas, make nonstandard decisions in difficult situations. The training of such a specialist in preschool education requires the introduction of new pedagogical technologies into the educational process, which will contribute to the formation of a competent teachereducator. The processes of change that occur at the present stage of development of society are aimed at implementing the humanistic paradigm of the educational environment and are based on a personalized approach. In the current conditions there is a need to train highly qualified specialists who must optimally solve professional problems in the modern educational space, to quickly adapt to change. The level of professional self-improvement of the future generation is largely determined by professionalism, creative competence, professional thinking of the teacher and his psychological readiness for pedagogical creativity. Today, preschool institutions need teachers (educators) with experience in selfimprovement and self-development of professional skills in the organization of personality-oriented educational process. The problem of general and specific in the training of future teachers by means of the organization of professional self-education acquires special significance for the qualitative renewal of the system of professional training of educators. Therefore, in the modern system of higher education, the issue of professional training and self-improvement of students – future educators of preschool children – to pedagogical activities is important.
