Unravelling the Nexus Between Export Performance and Business Performance

Exporting enterprises representing countries in global competition constitute a valuable research area and create the opportunity to conduct research on them. Exporting enterprises have a crucial place in the welfare of developing countries, especially with the foreign exchange revenues they will bring. Therefore, many different aspects of exporting enterprises need to be examined both from a business and scientific point of view. This study aimed to comprehend the mutual relationship between business performance and export performance among 192 exporters in Turkiye. In the study, data were collected through scales for export performance and business performance of enterprises, and performance outputs were revealed as a result of factor analysis. Afterwards, it was examined whether there is a significant difference in the export performance of companies with high and low business performance and whether there is a significant difference in the business performance of companies with high and low export performance. Achieved t-test findings, show that significant differences existed in both the export performance of companies with high business performance and the business performance of companies with high export performance. These findings of the study indicate that exporting companies' financial business opportunities may have an impact on export performance, and similarly, companies with good export performance can also achieve a strong financial output. In this context, it has been suggested that businesses should focus on performance outputs with a two-way perspective and that exporting businesses should not only focus on exports.

ENTREPRENEURIAL ORIENTATION AND PERFORMANCE OF BUSINESS ENTERPRISES

The study examines the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of business enterprises. Five dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation which include Innovativeness, Risk Taking, Proactiveness, Autonomy, and Competitive Aggressiveness were used in the study and their effect on business enterprises in Ogun State, Nigeria. The study used a descriptive research survey and the population of the study consists of 200 business enterprises registered in the Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria, and a sample size of 132 from that population was determined using the Raosoft sample size estimator at a 5% error tolerance and 95% level of confidence. Out of the 132 questionnaires distributed, 113 were returned, giving the study a response rate of 86%. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SPSS. The findings indicated that Innovativeness, Proactiveness, Risk Taking, Autonomy and Competitive Aggressiveness had a significant effect on business enterprise performance with coefficient and p-value of β1 =0.283 (p-value <0.05), β2 =0.251 (p-value <0.05) β3 =0.281 (p-value <0.05), β4 =0.180 (p-value <0.05) and β5 =0.153 (p-value <0.05) respectively. It is concluded that entrepreneurial orientation is a strong factor in the achievement of the strategic aims and objectives of a business enterprise. It is recommended that businesses should continuously forecast into the future in order to identify likely market demands, pursue additional proactive measures to address those needs, and continuously be innovative and creative in order to further improve product quality and be able to introduce new products to the market that will stand the test of time.

Focus on the impact and predictive analysis of digitalization and green finance on the transformation of mineral and energy companies

This study takes the annual data of Shaanxi Western Mineral Energy Development Co. to analyze the impact of digitalization and green finance on the transformation of mineral energy enterprises. The two-way fixed effect model and mediated effect model are used for statistical analysis to calculate the intrinsic influence mechanism of the mediating variables on the variables through the relationship between the variables and the variables. And the indicator selection is set to estimate the maximum likelihood estimation of the transformation of mineral energy enterprises. Quantitatively, the impact of digitalization and green finance on the transformation of mineral energy enterprises is assessed. And six impact hypotheses are proposed. The results of the study show that for every 1 % increase in the level of digitalization development, the level of green development of mineral energy enterprises increases by 0.142 % and is significant at the 1 % level. It indicates that the positive effect of digitalization and green finance on the transformation of mineral energy enterprises is significant, which improves the greening development level of mineral energy enterprises, and then improves the business performance of enterprises.

Factors Affecting Business Performance: Evidence from Listed Aviation Enterprises in Vietnam

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of internal factors on business performance of aviation enterprises in Vietnam. The article uses data collected from financial statements from 2013 to 2022 of 11 aviation enterprises listed on the Vietnam stock market. Applying SPSS 26 software in quantitative analysis, research results show that the factors solvency, total asset turnover, and enterprise size have a positive influence, while capital structure has a negative influence. on the business performance of the enterprise, the factors of business time and the proportion of fixed assets are not enough basis to consider the impact on the business performance of the enterprise. Using the research results, the author proposes some solutions to improve business efficiency of aviation enterprises in the future.

Research on the Influence of Female Director Ratio on Business Performance -- Explanation from the Symbolism Theory

Due to the improvement of women's ability and status in the workplace, the role of female directors in corporate boards has also attracted extensive attention from scholars. Compared with Western countries' emphasis on women's rights and interests protection, the proportion of female directors in China is relatively low. The symbolism theory holds that companies appoint female directors only to signal to establish women in society, which is only a nominal appointment rather than based on female directors' characteristics or abilities. It has no relationship with the actual operation of the enterprise. Using the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2018, this paper empirically proves that the presence of female directors has no significant impact on the business performance of enterprises.

The Influence of Green Entrepreneurship Orientation on Enterprise Performance Based on the TPB Model

Abstract In this paper, the transformation of the green service industry is regarded as an intermediate variable based on the TPB model. Green service innovation can be divided into application type and exploration type. The function mechanism of enterprise green innovation guidance mechanism on enterprise operating performance is established. The empirical analysis of several service companies in East China shows that “green innovation” has an apparent positive effect on service innovation. It will only have a pronounced positive development in the research-based green service-based innovation. These factors have no evident positive impact on creating environmental services for use. Green service innovation and the use of green service innovation have a noticeable positive impact on the business performance of enterprises. This research result provides a new idea for the development of enterprises.

The study aims to examine the impact of factors affecting business performance in small and medium enterprises in Dong Thap province. The author conducted the research through two phases: qualitative research and quantitative research. In addition, the data analysis method was selected by the authors for Logistic regression analysis to analyze the current situation and factors affecting the business performance of enterprises. Research results show that: Policy mechanism is the factor that has the strongest impact on business performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, followed by the ability to react to the business environment; material and human resources; competitiveness of enterprises; access to capital and community responsibility. In addition, the author proposes some key solutions to help managers improve the business efficiency of small and medium enterprises in Dong Thap province.

A Study on the Impact of the Usage of Cost Information on Business Performance of Enterprises in Vietnam

Purpose: The primary objective of the research was to investigate the correlation between the utilization of cost information and business performance of enterprises in Vietnam, particularly in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach: A survey was conducted, involving a sample of 380 participants consisting of CEOs, CFOs, managers, board of directors, and individuals in charge of accounting and finance departments. The study employed a structure equation model to analyze the relationship between the use of cost information and business performance. Findings: The study revealed a significant and positive impact of cost information utilization on business performance among the surveyed enterprises in Vietnam. Additionally, the study provided recommendations for enterprises in Vietnam on how to make use of cost information for various purposes, including planning, evaluating, decision-making, and cost control, to optimize their business performance. Research, Practical & Social implication: The study's results suggest that utilizing cost information effectively can lead to improved business performance and may provide valuable insights for Vietnamese enterprises on how to navigate the challenging and competitive post-Covid-19 economic environment. Originality/value: The research employed a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach, and a test for univariate normality demonstrated an outstanding critical skewness ratio value. Furthermore, the kurtosis indicated that the data followed a normal distribution, making it suitable for analysis. Since SEM employs rigorous criteria to evaluate model fit, it can be inferred that the measurement model exhibited a high level of fit. The findings affirm the beneficial impact of utilizing cost information on business performance and offer significant recommendations for Vietnamese businesses in the current post-COVID era.

Impact of Policy Signals on Business Performance: An Empirical Analysis of Financial Subsidy Effects on High-tech Enterprises Using Panel Data from 2095 Listed Companies

Based on the samples of A-share listed companies with high-tech certification from 2017 to 2021, this study empirically analyzes the influence of financial subsidy as a "policy signal" on the business performance of high-tech enterprises by analogy with Shannon-Weaver communication model. Using the regulatory effect model and intermediary effect model, and with the help of soft budget constraint and diminishing marginal revenue theory, this study analyzes the reasons why financial subsidy affects the enterprise business performance differently. This study indicates that financial subsidy, as a kind of policy signal source, is regulated by the nature and scale of enterprises, and ultimately improves the financial performance and innovation performance of enterprises through the intermediary effect of R&D investment intensity and external market valuation.

Do innovation and proactiveness impact the business performance of women-owned small and medium-scale enterprises in Vietnam? A study using the PLS-SEM approach

Purpose: This study aims to identify and evaluate the relationship between factors and the business performance of women-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam focusing on the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation factors such as innovation, risk-taking and proactiveness.
 Design/Methodology/Approach: Data were obtained from 350 female entrepreneurs of SMEs in Vietnam using a structured questionnaire. The partial least squares structural equation modeling method (PLS-SEM) was applied to find the cause-and-effect relationship between exogenous and endogenous variables.
 Findings: The results show that the business capacity of business owners, the quality of human resources, access to finance, social capital, entrepreneurial orientation and government policies positively impact the enterprise's business performance. The relationship between the three dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation and business performance is examined. In detail, proactiveness and innovation have a positive relationship while risk-taking negatively affects the business performance of women-owned SMEs.
 Conclusion: The study has shown the factors affecting the business performance of women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam and at the same time proved that EO is a multidimensional concept when the dimensions of EO tend to have different effects on business performance.
 Research Limitations and Implications: The research may lack a comparison in the field of SMEs to deeply understand the cause-and-effect relationship between exogenous and endogenous variables. Therefore, researchers are encouraged to test the proposed propositions further.
 Practical Implications: Research results provide insight for businesses, state management agencies, credit institutions and associations on policy-making and appropriate solutions to support and develop the enterprise.
 Contribution to Literature: The important impact of proactiveness and innovation on SMEs' business performance opens a new door to more research in business orientation.

공급망관리에서 전략적 파트너십이 기업성과에 미치는 영향

In supply chain management, the importance of partnership is increasing by ensuring the competitive advantage of enterprises, reducing the cost of supply chain management and improving the results of enterprises. The purpose of this study is to derive the construction factors of strategic partnership, and based on the derived information sharing, environmental protection cooperation, international standardization, mutual trust and customer satisfaction, which regulate the variables, analyze the correlation between the business results of enterprises and explore the mutual influence. 412 Chinese import and export manufacturers were investigated and analyzed. The analysis results show that the strategic partnership of supply chain management has a statistically significant positive (+) effect on enterprise performance, and customer satisfaction plays an important moderating role in the relationship between partnership construction and enterprise business performance. In supply chain management, the positive impact of establishing partnership on business results has been verified, so it can be used as an important basis for enterprises to improve business activities. This indicates that the establishment of strategic partnership is beneficial to enterprises, which can improve customer satisfaction and enterprise results. It is meaningful to recognize that the more perfect a partnership is, the more profits a company can reap.

Dual Innovation, Financial Slack and Business Performance—Experiential Data from Private Enterprises

Taking the data of 337 private enterprises in Shanghai and Shen Zhen from 2011-2017 as the research sample, constructing the relationship framework of “innovation-performance” based on the regulation effect of financial slack is established, and exploring the relationship between dual innovation and enterprise business performance. The empirical research shows that exploration innovation and development innovation are significantly positively correlated with enterprise performance, and development innovation is more conducive to the improvement of enterprise performance; financial slack plays a negative role in regulating the relationship between exploration innovation and development innovation and enterprise performance.

Relationships between human resource management practices, employees’ job satisfaction, and business performance in state-owned enterprises: A case study of enterprises in Vietnam posts and telecommunications group

The study aims to explore and measure the relationships between human resource management practices, employees’ job satisfaction, and business performance in state-owned enterprises in Vietnam – A case study of enterprises in Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT). The study adopts qualitative research, combined with quantitative research by CB-SEM The research data were collected from August 2021 to December 2021 by email and online survey with 621 staff currently working at VNPT in 18 provinces and cities representing 6 telecommunications service regions in nationwide Vietnam. The research results show that the human resource management practice at VNPT enterprises includes 7 components (job identification, recruitment, training and progression, performance appraisal, compensation, empowerment, and labor relations). They all have a strong influence on the employees’ job satisfaction and the business performance of VNPT enterprises. However, the influence of the employee’s job satisfaction on the business performance of these enterprises has not been found

Impact of Organizational Commitment Factors on Business Performance of Enterprises in the Context of Digital Transformation: A Case Study of Private Enterprises in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, Vietnam

The study aims to test the impact of organizational commitment factors on the business performance of self-employed enterprises in the context of digital transformation in Vinh city, Nghe An province, Vietnam. Using quantitative research methods through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and multiple regression model analysis, the research results show that all three components of employee commitment to the organization are have a positive impact on business performance. In which, the order of impact is determined as: norm-based commitment, emotional commitment and finally calculation-based commitment. From there, the study proposes a number of solutions to strengthen employees’ commitment to the organization in order to improve business performance in enterprises.

Financial performance evaluation of Chinese smart logistics enterprises

Under the background of "Industry 4.0" and "Internet +" development, the intelligent logistics system is the only way for the development and transformation of China's logistics industry. However, at present, the scientific research investment and intelligent equipment purchase and repair costs of the smart logistics transformation of logistics companies is huge, and it is difficult to maintain the balance between the production cost and profit. Data analysis, as well as testing the significance of the difference in the examined values of selected indicators with regard to size and industry, will be conducted by using adequate statistical methods. The aim of the analysis is to identify short-term consequences of the crisis, as well as preconditions for their easier overcoming.

Fisheries processing entrepreneurs in Jakarta focus on developing strategic management by increasing innovation capabilities so as to improve organizational performance and have a significant competitive advantage so that they can survive the covid 19 pandemic. The population is 4 (four) DKI Jakarta municipality area with total sample of 100 fishery processing entrepreneurs. Samples were taken randomly and performed at some stage in February 2022. The study prove that competitive intensity has affect on organization performance, competitive intensity has affect on organization innovation, competitive intensity has affect on organization performance mediated by means of organization innovation, organizational slack has have an effect on on enterprise innovation, organizational slack has affect on business enterprise performance, organizational slack has affect on organisation overall performance mediated through organisation innovation, organization innovation has affect on organization performance although not sizeable.
