Cloud PLM system, it is predicted, will be used in all phases of a product’s lifecycle, enabling corporations to share all information between providers, partners, and customers. For business workers, cloud PLM system is a new application model which will universally influence operations and habits. This study references the concept of TTF (Task Technology Fit) and UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and adopts quantitative research methods to investigate the behaviour intention of corporate employees using the cloud PLM system. This study help such corporations to improve the intention of their business endeavours when using the cloud PLM system. This study is an empirical research based on questionnaire data drawn from electronics manufacturing industry employees. Through these empirical results, two key findings were reached in ‘Research-Model-1’. Firstly, PLM Task characteristics and cloud computing technology characteristics displayed a positive correlation to TTF. Secondly, TTF, performance expectancy, and social influence are the main factors which affect the behavioural intention of employees. The conclusion of this ‘Research-Model-2’ shows that if ‘PLM use experience’ is used as the moderating variable item, the facilitating conditions and the TTF are important factors that affect the use behaviour intention.
