Objective To explore the application effect of Five-in-One traditional Chinese medicine nursing health management model in the health management of patients with chronic nephropathy. Methods A total of 80 patients with chronic kidney disease stage 1~3 admitted to the hospital from January to December 2016 were selected, and were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 40 cases of each group. The observation group applied the Five-in-One TCM nursing and health management model, which included five nursing methods: living and living guidance, application of TCM appropriate technologies, dialectical feeding, drug guidance and emotional nursing. Results The quality of life, anxiety, therapeutic motivation, medication compliance, follow-up rate and improvement traditional Chinese medicine syndrome points of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions The adoption of the Five-in-One traditional Chinese medicine nursing health management model is of great significance for promoting the health of patients with chronic nephropathy.
