Simultaneous measurements on polar and equatorial light charged particles in 235U fission have been carried out at thermal and 600 keV neutron energies. The variations of the yields of protons and alpha particles with neutron energy are found to be similar in both polar and equatorial emissions. The results have been discussed with regard to the emission mechanism of polar light charged particles.
