Strengthening The Character of Elementary School Students on Online Learning Through Video Utilization

This study aims to analyze various difficulties in learning the character of elementary school students in the online / digital era and their solutions through the use of video media. This research uses descriptive studies with a qualitative approach. The data sources in this study are elementary school teachers and parents of students related to the character learning process. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews with informants; Teachers and Students. Data analysis is carried out by reduction, display and conclusion. The results showed that character learning problems carried out online were not able to stimulate emotional and motor aspects, so that children were less enthusiastic. Lack of proper media to teach the attitudes or behaviors of elementary school children who still like to play. Therefore, videos with certain characters and well presented can arouse children's attention and stimulate their behavior to learn more enthusiastically. Therefore, it is necessary to make and present videos that contain educational values to direct the behavior of elementary school students in learning so that they can change for the better. In this case, videos that are filled with educational values can be one of the character learning media in online learning for elementary school students.

Enhancing Elementary School Student Learning Outcomes through the Use of Mind Mapping Learning Strategies

One way to help students become more creative in the learning process is to use the mind mapping method. The purpose of this study was to examine how the mind mapping approach can be used to enhance student learning results. This study falls under the category of qualitative research using a descriptive study design. research that aims to describe and analyze the subject of the study—be it an object, phenomena, event, or issue. Observation, interviews, and documentation methods were used as data gathering methods. Data was gathered for this study, which involved multiple primary school children. the outcomes of the information that researchers gathered from sources, including facts discovered through field observations. Learning leads to a shift in behavior rather than mastery.

Meta Analysis Of The PMRI (Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education) Approach To Improving Primary Students Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Research objectives This is For analyze PMRI approach (Mathematics Education Realistic Indonesia) towards results Study students at school base. PMRI's approach is a mathematization - oriented approach experience everyday and also apply mathematics in life daily . Study This use method meta- analysis research. Data analysis was carried out with SPSS 22.00 for windows help . Result of data analysis that has been done done done show that PMRI approach ( Mathematics Education Realistic Indonesia) is influential big to results Study students , the results of the independent samples test show that mark significance (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, the result of the effect size calculation is -2.65773, so it can be concluded that the influence of the PMRI (Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education) approach is significantly more effective compared to conventional learning in terms of elementary school student learning outcomes. The results of data analysis show a significant difference between learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class with a Sig (2-tailed) result of 0.000 and a small effect size. The results of data analysis can then be said that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups, however the treatment in this study showed a small effect on learning.

Enhancing English comprehension: a UbD mind walker intervention for remote upper-grade elementary students

This preliminary study examines the efficacy of the Mind Walker Reading Programme in improving word knowledge and, consequently, improving reading comprehension skills for three upper-grade elementary students in a remote setting. The programme is based on the understanding by design (UbD) Model developed by Wiggins and McTighe (The understanding by design guide to creating high-quality units, ASCD, Alexandria, 2011; The understanding by design guide to advanced concepts in creating and reviewing units. ASCD, Alexandra, 2012), emphasizing defined reading comprehension outcomes and appropriate indicators for assessment. To assess the Programme’s impact and the retention of acquired skills, pre- and post-tests were administered, with a delayed post-test conducted over an 11-week period. Analysis of the test results, collected from the city government’s test pool, reveals a significant improvement in reading comprehension accuracy among participants using the UbD Mind Walker reading tool. This study highlights the effectiveness of the UbD Mind Walker programme in enhancing English language proficiency and supporting sustainable learning for elementary school students, particularly in remote areas with limited educational resources.

Development of Newsletter Media in Thematic Learning for Elementary School Students

This research is motivated by the limited learning media that can attract students' attention when learning thematic lessons. This research aims to develop bulletin media for thematic learning that is feasible and practical for elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development using the ADDIE model. The results of the research show that the use of thematic learning bulletin media for class five of State Islamic Primary School 8 Aceh Barat Daya is considered very good for media experts 87%, material experts 75% (good) and language experts 85% (very good). Meanwhile, response data was obtained from 90% of small class teachers (very practical), 92% of large class teachers (very practical). For student response data, 95% of small class students and 95.5% of large class students were obtained and were considered very practical. Based on research results, it shows that the thematic learning bulletin media for class five of State Islamic Primary School 8 Aceh Barat Daya is very practical for use by teachers and students in the teaching and learning process in class

Effectiveness of Geometry Learning Based on PPG Daljab Student Technology through the Project-Based Learning Model in Elementary School Students

Difficulties in understanding the mathematical concepts that occur when students learn geometry, one of which is an abstract geometry concept that is not followed by effective learning as an effort to help students' understanding is the main problem in this study. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of technology-based geometry learning carried out by PPG Daljab students through the Project Base Learning model in elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi-Experimental Design research with the Nonequvalent Control Group Design form. The population in this study is all elementary school fifth students in the North Tomohon Cluster, Tomohon City totaling 62 students. The sampling technique used in this study was Pusposve Sampling which was taken by two schools with the same level of activity and learning achievement. The experimental class was SD Inpres Kakasasen Satu and SD Inpres Kayawu with 31 students, while the control class was SD Inpres Kakasasen Dua and SD Inpres Kakasasen Tiga with 31 students. Data collection techniques using the Geometry Understanding Test Instrument. The instrument validity test uses the Pearson Product Moment formula and the reliability test uses the Alpha-Cronbach formula. The hypothesis test in this study uses the T-test test. Based on the study's results, the Project Based Learning Model can be described effectively against technology-based geometry learning in elementary school students.

Examining the Mind Mapping Model in Mathematics Learning for Elementary School Students: Self-Efficacy and Motivation

The challenges of student learning in the 4.0 era must be balanced with mastery of 21st century skills. Mastery of skills must be balanced with students' mental maturity. The mental maturity of student learning can be developed by applying an effective learning model. The mind mapping learning model has various advantages for shaping the maturity of students' thinking patterns. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the application of the mind mapping model for self-efficacy and student motivation. The research subjects were 10 grade IV elementary school students. This research method is a quasi-experimental study that compares pretest and posttest values. The data collection techniques used were observation and interview techniques, which were converted into a value of 1–100. Data analysis was carried out, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in pretest self-efficacy to posttest 1 of 12.4 points, and an increase in posttest 1 to posttest 2 of 9.4 points. The results of observing student motivation at the pretest to posttest stage were 10.8 points, and a significant increase from the results of posttest 1 to posttest 2 was 23.6 points. The research findings are that the mind mapping model increases student self-efficacy, increases student motivation, and has significant advantages for elementary school students. An interesting finding is that students' mentality can be more stable with the application of mind mapping, with indications of independence, initiative, courage, and a change in perception of mathematics.

Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Drill terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Muara Aman

Background: Mathematics is a very important subject to study. Mathematics lessons include the development and use of concepts such as numbers, formulas, geometry, and algebra to understand and explain phenomena in various contexts. To improve the quality of students' mathematics learning, it is necessary to develop material through a learning method which is expected to improve students' abilities in solving mathematical problems. Method: The research design is "Pre-Experimental Whithout Control Group Design". The population in this study was the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Muara Aman, totaling 25 people. The sampling technique in this study used a total sampling technique where the entire population was sampled, namely 25 people. The results of this research were analyzed using the Paired t-test using SPSS 22 software. Results: The average mathematics score of respondents increased after being given the intervention by 51.13. Result: The results of the Paired T Test showed a p value of 0.000< α=0.05. Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the drill method on improving mathematics learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Muara Aman in 2023. It is hoped that the results of this research will become a reference for teachers in developing effective learning methods to increase students' motivation and enthusiasm in learning interesting mathematics subjects. positive impact on increasing elementary school student learning achievement.

Parenting and Disciplinary Behavior on Elementary School Student Learning Outcomes

This research is motivated by the fact that many students still need to be more disciplined in obeying the rules. This research aims to analyze the influence of parenting patterns on student learning outcomes, the influence of disciplinary behavior on student learning outcomes, and the influence of parental parenting and corrective behavior on student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research with a correlational type. The population in this study was all students, totaling 74 students. The sample in this study used the entire population. The data collection methods used are questionnaires and documentation. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis techniques use validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination. The results of data analysis show that, first, parental parenting influences student learning outcomes. Second, there is no influence of disciplinary behavior on student learning outcomes partially. Third, there is a simultaneous influence of parental parenting and corrective behavior on learning outcomes. It is concluded that good parenting and corrective behavior can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Pengembangan Permainan Sigma23 Pada Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga Dan Kesehatan Untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa Disabilitas Grahita

Physical Education for elementary school students with disabilities must be adapted to their characteristics and needs so that they are willing to participate actively in learning. This study aims to develop and produce circuit movement patterns in theme-based circuit learning for elementary school students with mentally disabled. The method used in this research is research and development (Research and Development) from Borg and Gall. The development of circuit movement patterns is adapted to the theme of physical education learning for one year of study. The product is validated by experts in the education of children with special needs and experts in physical education movement patterns for children with special needs with mentally disabled. The product trials consisted of Trials I and Trials II in special elementary schools with mentally disabled. Based on the results of validation from experts in physical education, it showed a result of 93,75%, while the results of validation from experts in the education of children with special needs showed a result of 90,63%. So based on the experts the results of development research in the form of circuit movement patterns in theme-based circuit learning for elementary school students with mentally disabled are feasible to use.

Manfaat Penggunaan Metode Mind Mapping pada Pembelajaran IPA Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Implementing the right methods in learning can improve innovative learning systems and adapt to the current condition of students. This article aims to explore the use of mind mapping in science learning for elementary school students. Mind mapping is a cell or meltodel to synchronize the right brain and left brain in receiving new information. Mind mapping is the most relative and efficient way to take notes, using mind mapping, it is hoped that students will become more relative, self-confident, and able to master learning more efficiently. This research is qualitative research with literature study. The method of obtaining data is by analyzing sources and combining from various other reference sources, such as journals, research, and books conducted by previous researchers. The analysis technique used in this research is Content Analysis (content analysis). Through this mind mapping, students are expected to be able to express their knowledge, intelligence, and imagination thinking with the aim of turning students into memorization that is comfortable for them

Pengaruh Kecemasan Matematika terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar

This type of research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of mathematics anxiety on the interest in learning of elementary school students in Jambi City. With a population and research sample of students from elementary schools in Jambi City. The instrument used in this research is a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire consisting of a mathematics anxiety questionnaire and a student interest in learning questionnaire, totaling 10 questions from each questionnaire. The questionnaire is a closed direct questionnaire, which means alternative answers are available in the questionnaire, so respondents only need to choose one answer that suits their condition. The initial hypothesis of this research is "there is an influence of mathematics anxiety on students' interest in learning". Meanwhile, based on the research results, the results from the mathematics anxiety questionnaire were 63%, while the results from the interest in learning questionnaire were 67%. So it can be concluded that there is no influence of mathematics anxiety on students' interest in learning.

Dampak Penggunaan Gadget dalam Pembelajaran pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

The use of gadget technology in elementary school students' learning has a big impact on the teaching and learning process. This study aims to find out the impact of using gadget technology in learning for elementary school students. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through library research. In this research, data is taken from sources such as books, articles and research that has been carried out previously related to this material. The data analysis technique used in this research is a descriptive method by describing and interpreting what exists. The use of gadgets can increase children's creativity if used wisely. Considering the greater negative impact of gadget use on elementary school children, it is important to find solutions on how to divert children from becoming addicted to gadgets. One solution is to encourage children to interact outside the home more often, such as playing outside or playing with peers of the same age. Apart from that, giving educational toys to children can also reduce addiction to these gadgets. The solution to reducing gadget use is through external learning based on local wisdom and traditional games. This activity is to form an agent for driving old games to reduce the use of gadgets among elementary school students. The use of gadgets can give negative and positive impressions to students

The Effectiveness of Tonglish Application in English Language Learning for Elementary School Students

English language learning in primary schools has an important role in forming the basis of foreign language skills for students, and early mastery of English is considered a worthwhile educational investment for the future. However, challenges in English learning at the primary school level are often related to low student motivation, conventional teaching methods, and limited teaching resources. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Tonglish application in English language learning in elementary schools. The app is designed to improve students’ English skills through interactive features such as vocabulary quizzes and learning videos. This research uses quantitative experimental method with a True Experimental Design, namely Pretest-Post-test Control Group Design. Two groups of students from grade 5 of SD Muhammadiyah Ambarketawang 2 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used the Tonglish app for two meetings, while the control group did not use the app. Data were collected through a pretest and post-test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions on? The results showed that there was a significant difference between the English scores of students who studied using the Tonglish application compared to those who did not. The average score of students who used the Tonglish app was 84.40, while students who did not use the app were 51.40. What about the statistical result showing the significance of the implemented app?; Then there should be hypothesis testing? The use of the English app significantly improves elementary school students’ learning outcomes in English subject.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TREFFINGER MODEL BASED ON HYBRID LEARNING ON THE BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA (PPSPS) THEME FOR THE FOURTH GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The objective of this research is to develop a learning model in the Project of Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (PPSPS). This model is a Treffinger model based on hybrid learning for elementary school students. The development of a Treffinger model based on hybrid learning in this research used a development model adapted from Plomp (1997). The development model by Plomp has five main stages, including (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) test, evaluation, and revision, and (5) implementation. The subjects of this research were the students in class 4A and 4B of Muhammadiyah Elementary School (MES) 1 Babat. The instruments used were student learning outcomes and student responses to the learning process. The validation instruments in this research were the validation tests of the lesson plans/teaching modules, students worksheets, student books, model books, and assessment instruments. Based on the results of preliminary study, a hybrid-learning-based Treffinger model was designed. The model design in this study included (1) model book design, (2) design of learning components (student books, teaching modules, worksheets), and (3) instrument design to obtain data in the model development process. The development of the Treffinger model based on hybrid learning was tested for the validity, resulting in a percentage of 92%, whereas the effectiveness was tested based on teacher observations resulting in a percentage of 93%. The learning outcomes had a percentage of 83%, and the practicality test based on student responses resulted in a percentage of 97%. Based on these research results, the development of the Treffinger Model based on hybrid learning is considered suitable for use.

Enchanting Math AudibleBook: Insights from Teachers, University Students, and Young Learners

Reading is an essential activity of learning. In this study, the researchers investigated the opinions of elementary school teachers, university students majoring in elementary school teacher education, and elementary school students on the mathematics audible book "Asyiknya Bermain Setatak”. The researchers distributed questionnaires to collect the data. Data collection was carried out randomly using the random sample method. The respondents comprised 75 people (9 elementary school teachers, 53 university students majoring in elementary school teacher education, and 13 elementary school students) in Pekanbaru, Riau. The data were analyzed using Rasch Model with item response theory (IRT). Based on the data analysis, all statements are valid and reliable, and it means that the items can be used to judge the design of the audible book "Asyiknya Bermain Setatak".Based on the results of the study, it was found that the audible book math media was in accordance with the learning of elementary school students. The use of math audible book is also easy to do by students, teachers, and prospective teachers. Math audible books also provide positive benefits in learning mathematics. Based on this, it can be concluded that teachers should consider using audible books as a media for mathematics learning.

Implementation of Student Learning Independence in Ethnoscience-Oriented Force Topics Through Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model

This research is motivated by the low independence of science learning of elementary school students. This research aims to determine the effect of the application of the Ethnoscience-Oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning independence of students in class IV Elementary School. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental. The study population was grade IV elementary school students in Gugus IV Padang City T.A 2023/2024. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling obtained at SDN 28 Padang Sarai in class IVB as the experimental class and class IVA as the control class. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire instrument. Questionnaires are used to measure student learning independence in science learning for grade IV elementary school students. The data analysis technique in this study used an independent sample t test, Based on the results of the study, the results obtained: The significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then in accordance with the basis for decision making, it is found that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the learning independence of students in science learning is significantly high which is taught with the PBL Ethnoscience-Oriented learning model compared to conventional learning.

Inter-Institutional Communication Model for Online Learning for Elementary School Students

This study seeks to understand various communication events in the learning process holistically. The communication events in this paper include communication from the interpersonal level, computer-mediated communication, to organizational communication. This study explains the communication process from the human aspect (non-technical) and human relations with learning media technology (technical). This study seeks to answer how daily communication and communication media technology is vital in implementing online education for elementary school students. This study aims to offer an inter-institutional communication model that can be used to provide online education for students in elementary schools during disaster emergencies such as the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a focus group discussion (FGD) methodology with data collection techniques in interviews, field observations, and literature studies. This study uses data analysis in three-stage coding: open, axial, and selective. The subjects in this study were providers of elementary school (Sekolah Dasar) in Subdistrict (Kelurahan) Teluk Pucung, Kota Bekasi. This study finds that there is a need for intensification of communication from the daily level involving local stakeholders to resolve non-technical problems. The government needs to improve the communication media technology infrastructure and innovation in learning media technology for students who take online learning at the elementary level.

SOSIALISASI MODEL KREATIVITAS PERMAINAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN LARI BAGI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Learning physical education sports and health in schools should emphasise providing direct learning experiences to achieve good skills in improving learning completeness, students can gain a variety of experiences to reveal personal impressions that are fun, creative, innovative, and skilled which are planned, implemented and evaluated systematically in order to achieve learning objectives effectively and efficiently. The method of implementing service activities includes: the preparation stage, the socialisation stage and the implementation stage. Data collected using observation sheets for running with the game model that has been prepared. The results of the implementation of the zig-zag running model carried out by GMIT Bolok Elementary School students obtained 62.5% (15 people) with Excellent criteria and 37.5% (9 people) with Good criteria, the implementation of the cone jumping and zig-zag cone jumping models obtained 100% (24 people) with Excellent criteria in accordance with normative reference guidelines. This shows that the socialisation of the game creativity model in running learning for elementary school students has succeeded in achieving learning objectives.

Desain Media PowerPoint Interaktif Berbasis Animasi Materi Pancasila sebagai Nilai Kehidupan untuk Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

This research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes. This is because some teachers consider this learning media to be less important, and still use conventional learning media. This research aims to describe the development of interactive PowerPoint media based on animation on Pancasila regarding elementary school student learning outcomes. The research model used was the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media was tested in a small group of students and the results show that the use of interactive PowerPoint media can improve student learning outcomes in teaching and learning activities, help eliminate boredom, and motivate student learning.
