The current paper emphasizes the study of interface crack problems in piezoelectric bi-material having k-class singularity using coupled finite element (FE) and extended element free Galerkin (XEFG) technique. Heaviside and asymptotic crack-tip functions are incorporated to capture crack-tip singularity and discontinuities across crack surfaces for local enrichment within FE-XEFG framework. Few fracture problems are numerically simulated to extract mixed mode intensity factors (IFs) by modified form of domain-based interaction integral. Parametric studies based on geometrical parameters and loading conditions, such as mechanical loading effect, electrical loading effect, effect of crack length, and aspect ratio on fracture parameters have been simulated.
