3D Ternary Hybrid of VSe2/e‐MXene/CNT with a Promising Energy Storage Performance for High Performance Asymmetric Supercapacitor

AbstractMXene and TMDs are two of the emerging electrode materials for supercapacitors owing to their unique physicochemical properties such as high conductivity, large surface area, and rich redox active sites. However, sheet restacking, volume expansion and oxidation hinder these materials from being used in practical applications. In this work, a 3D ternary hybrid structure of metallic VSe2, Ti3C2Tx MXene and carbon nanotube was designed to address some of the challenges in 2D materials‐based electrodes for supercapacitor application. The exfoliated MXene and CNT decorated VSe2 3D structure showed excellent synergy between each component to deliver promising energy storage and cycling performance. The ternary hybrid structure also can suppress the surface oxidation of MXene sheets during the hydrothermal reaction. Furthermore, an asymmetric supercapacitor fabricated with VSe2/e‐MXene/CNT and MoS2/MXene delivered the highest energy density of 35.91 Wh/kg at a power density of 1280 W/kg and a remarkable cycle life.

In-Situ Preparation of Iron(II)-phthalocyanine@multi-Walled-CNTs Nanocomposite for Quasi-Solid-State Flexible Symmetric Supercapacitors with Long Cycling Life.

The construction of supercapacitor electrode materials with exceptional performance is crucial to the commercialisation of flexible supercapacitors. Here, a novel in-situ precipitation technique was applied for constructing iron(II)-phthalocyanine (FePc) based nanocomposite as the electrode material in quasi-solid-state flexible supercapacitors. The highly redox-active FePc nanostructures were grown in the multi-walled-CNTs (MWCNTs) networks, which shows convenient electron/electrolyte ion transport pathways along with outstanding structural stability, leading to high energy storage and long cycling life. The electrode of FePc@MWCNTs delivered a higher specific capacity than that of individual MWCNTs and FePc. The quasi-solid-state symmetric flexible device that was constructed using FePc@MWCNTs electrode demonstrated impressive performance with a maximum energy density of 29.7 Wh kg-1 and a maximum power density of 4000 W kg-1. Moreover, the device demonstrated superior durability and flexibility, as evidenced by its exceptional cyclic stability (111.3 %) even after 30000 cycles at 8 A g-1. These results reveal that the FePc@MWCNTs nanocomposite prepared by this simple in-situ precipitation method is promising as electrode material for next-generation flexible wearable power sources.

Functionalization Strategies of Iron Sulfides for High-Performance Supercapacitors

AbstractSupercapacitors have emerged as a promising class of energy storage technologies, renowned for their impressive specific capacities and reliable cycling performance. These attributes are increasingly significant amid the growing environmental challenges stemming from rapid global economic growth and increased fossil fuel consumption. The electrochemical performance of supercapacitors largely depends on the properties of the electrode materials used. Among these, iron-based sulfide (IBS) materials have attracted significant attention for use as anode materials owing to their high specific capacity, eco-friendliness, and cost-effectiveness. Despite these advantages, IBS electrode materials often face challenges such as poor electrical conductivity, compromised chemical stability, and large volume changes during charge–discharge cycles. This review article comprehensively examines recent research efforts aiming at improving the performance of IBS materials, focusing on three main approaches: nanostructure design (including 0D nanoparticles, 1D nanowires, 2D nanosheets, and 3D structures), composite development (including carbonaceous materials, metal compounds, and polymers), and material defect engineering (through doping and vacancy introduction). The article sheds light on novel concepts and methodologies designed to address the inherent limitations of IBS electrode materials in supercapacitors. These conceptual frameworks and strategic interventions are expected to be applied to other nanomaterials, driving advancements in electrochemical energy conversion.

A Minireview of Multimetallic Iron‐Based Oxides for Supercapacitive Negative Electrode Materials

The serious mismatch between the positive and negative electrodes of supercapacitors (SCs) makes it imperative to develop high‐performance negative electrode materials. Among them, multimetallic iron‐based oxides (MIBOs) are intensively investigated attributed to their high theoretical specific capacitance, wide operating potential window, copious electrochemical active sites, variable metal oxidation states, and abundant redox centers. This paper briefly introduces some essential information on SCs and the most common synthesis methods of MIBOs. Also, the research progress of several important MIBOs and their composites is discussed. Finally, the existing problems and challenges of MIBOs are summarized and future outlooks are likewise proposed.

Enhancing electrode efficiency by tuning surface electronic properties and defects in NiFe layered double hydroxide nanosheets with Al or Zn cation vacancies

Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) containing transition metals have emerged as promising electrode materials for supercapacitors due to their low cost, strong redox activity, and environmental friendliness. In this study, we propose a novel approach by creating Zn-defect Zn(II) engineered D-NiFeZn-LDHs through cyclic voltammetry etching in an alkaline solution of NiFeZn-LDHs synthesized on a carbon cloth substrate. This defect engineering increases electrochemical active sites and improves ion diffusion within the layered structure. The D-NiFeZn-LDHs demonstrate an impressive specific capacitance of 1204.8 F g⁻1 at 1 A g⁻1 and retain 61.52 % of their initial capacity after 10,000 cycles at 10A g⁻1, showcasing excellent long-term cycling stability. Moreover, the all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor constructed using D-NiFeZn-LDHs delivers a high energy density of 31.63 Wh kg⁻1 at 125 W kg⁻1 and retains 65.95 % of its capacity after 5000 cycles at a high current density of 10 A g⁻1. These findings provide a new strategy for developing high-performance energy storage materials.

Revealing the effects of functional group in organic linkers on properties of metal organic frameworks electrode and their performance in supercapacitors

The history of developing supercapacitors with increased performance is inextricably linked to the exploration and design of suitable electrode materials. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted intensive attention for use in high-performance supercapacitors thanks to their large specific surface area, tuneable pore sizes and crystal structure. Understanding the influence of MOF structures and properties on the performance of supercapacitors is critical to enhancing their performance. However, so far researchers have been keen on exploring metal atoms in MOFs and have ignored the effects of organic ligands, especially the functional groups thereon, on supercapacitors. In this work, we have studied the impact of organic linkers’ functional groups on the properties of MOFs and how this influences their performance as supercapacitor electrode materials. We synthesized four MOFs with different functional groups, including hydroxyl, nitride and thiol groups and characterised their physicochemical properties and their performance as supercapacitor electrode materials. Characterisation of the specific surface area shows that the BET area decreases from 980.3 m2 g−1 for the original MOF to 12.2 m2 g−1 when the thiol group is incorporated. Furthermore the –OH, –NH, and −SH functionalities reduced the charge transfer resistance (< 1 Ω) and induced more pseudocapacitance, whereas the –OH group dramatically increased the hydrophilicity of the electrode and rate performance of supercapacitors. Although the MOFs without extra function group showed the highest specific capacitance of 1495F g−1, analysis of the normalized areal specific capacitance only shows 1.5 F m−2. The MOFs with the −SH group showed the highest normalized areal specific capacitance of 26F m−2 as well as stable cycling performance of 80 % retention after 10,000 cycles.

Nanoarchitectonics of hierarchical porous biochars from heavy bio-oil by coupling calcium salts assisted template carbonization and K2CO3 activation for high-performance supercapacitors

Biochar derived from biomass has shown potential as electrode materials for supercapacitors, but controlling its pore structure is a challenge. Additionally, coking issues have limited the industrial application of heavy bio-oil, which could be used to prepare carbonous biochar as a substitute for biomass. Herein, to widen the utilization of bio-oil and to control the pore structure, this study introduces a novel approach to utilize heavy bio-oil and regulate pore structure by combining the hard template method and activation method, in which calcium citrate tetrahydrate (CCT), calcium acetate and calcium carbonate act as templates and K2CO3 acts as activator. Through CCT-assisted template carbonization at 700 °C and K2CO3 activation with a mass ratio of 1:2, a hierarchical porous biochar (CCT-700–1:2) with a specific surface area of 2213.09 m2 g−1 was successfully synthesized. The CCT-700–1:2 electrode shows outstanding capacitive performance with a specific capacitance of 213.86 F g−1 at 0.5 A. The assembled solid-state symmetric supercapacitor displays impressive rate capability, maintaining the capacity retention ratio being 69.7 % at 20 A g−1. Furthermore, it demonstrates exceptional cycle stability and the capacitance retention is around 98 % even after 60,000 cycles. The symmetric supercapacitors also show the high energy density being 16.36 W h kg−1 at 250 W kg−1. This study presents a hopeful method for producing sustainable carbon materials by bio-oil used as energy storage devices, enhancing the potential utilizations of biomass derived products in the area of supercapacitors.

Facile fabrication of FeSe/MnSe composite for improved electrochemical characterization by hydrothermal route

Globally, researchers are primarily focused on creating new electrode materials with high energy and power density (Pd) to develop the efficiency of energy storage devices. This work demonstrates significant advancements in use of transition metal selenide as electrode material for supercapacitors (SCs). FeSe/MnSe composite was produced by a hydrothermal approach and the findings indicated a notable improvement in electrochemical characteristics due to the combined effect of FeSe and MnSe materials. The exceptional electrochemical performance of FeSe/MnSe composite electrode attributed to its inherent features, including crystal structure, excellent electrical conductivity with varying oxidation states, distinct morphology and large surface area. Moreover, FeSe/MnSe composite demonstrated specific capacitances (Csp) of 1533.23 F/g at current density of 1.0 A g−1 with notable energy density (68.70 Wh kg−1) and Pd (284 W kg−1). Furthermore, the FeSe/MnSe composite electrode demonstrates remarkable cyclability, sustaining its effectiveness reliably for more than 5000 cycles while also exhibiting low-impedance features with a Rct of 0.09 Ω. This study delves into a new approach for creating unique FeSe/MnSe electrodes that show potential as a reliable option with extended cycling durability and increased energy capacity for use in energy storage devices.

Molten Salt Assisted Assembly (MASA) of novel mesoporous Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4 for high-performance asymmetric supercapacitors

Mesoporous transition metal oxides (TMO) are immensely investigated as electrode materials in supercapacitors. The molten salt assisted self-assembly (MASA) process enables a facile route for the synthesis of the mesoporous TMO. In this study, mesoporous nickel manganese cobaltite (Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4) is synthesized for the first time using a MASA process and is evaluated as a novel electrode-active material for asymmetric supercapacitors. The objective of this work is to quantitatively measure the performance improvement in the Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4 electrode based on its composition and reveal the improvement mechanism through electrochemical methods. The electrochemical performance of the NiCo2O4 and MnCo2O4 prepared by MASA is also investigated, in order to understand the synergistic effect of Ni and Mn elements in the same cobaltite structure. In line with the data obtained from half cells, a full asymmetric cell is prepared by assembling the appropriate amount of Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4 and activated carbon through the charge balance theory. The test results show that the specific capacitance (Cs) values are 2.62F/cm2 (92.1F/g) for mesoporous NiCo2O4, 0.26F/cm2 (9.8F/g) for mesoporous MnCo2O4, and 9.53F/cm2 (338.5F/g) for mesoporous Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4 under the test conditions of 5 mA/cm2. The asymmetric supercapacitor assembled with Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4 and activated carbon demonstrates a superior energy density of 79.52 Wh.kg−1 at 1 mA/cm2. The findings of the study highlight the importance of substituting the electrode with Ni0.5Mn0.5Co2O4 to enhance the Cs by achieving proper surface properties and electrochemical activity.

One step glow-discharge electrolysis-based preparation of Al doped Ni-Co layered double hydroxide/ graphene oxide as supercapacitor electrode material

Nickel-cobalt layered double hydroxides (LDHs) are promising materials for supercapacitor electrodes; however, they face challenges in terms of cycling stability and rate capability owing to agglomeration and low conductivity. In this study, Ni(III)CoAlx-LDH/GO with an extended layer spacing and excellent electronic conductivity was synthesized by one-step glow discharge electrolysis. A nickel–cobalt alloy was used as the anode, a graphite rod as the cathode, and sodium chloride as the electrolyte. In addition, incorporating an appropriate amount of aluminum chloride into the electrolyte can alter the microstructure of the electrode material, leading to enhanced electrochemical performance. Ni(III)CoAl0.2-LDH/GO, synthesized using 0.2 g AlCl3, demonstrated exceptional electrochemical performance of 1014C g−1 at 2 A/g. At a current density of 5 A/g, the capacitance retention rate was 85.3 % after 10,000 cycles, indicating strong cyclic stability. Moreover, an asymmetric supercapacitor built with Ni(III)CoAl0.2-LDH/GO as the anode and commercial activated carbon as the cathode achieved a specific capacitance of 146.2F/g at a current density of 1 A/g. This device demonstrated outstanding circular stability, retaining 85.07 % of its capacitance after 10,000 cycles. In addition, the device achieves relatively high energy density and power density (energy density of 66.63 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 1022.23 W kg−1). This study introduces a novel synthesis method for the preparation of high-performance electrode materials aimed at advancing energy storage devices.

Recycling the Spent Lithium-ion Battery into Nanocubes Cobalt Oxide Supercapacitor Electrode

Background:: Cobalt oxide nanocubes have garnered significant attention as potential supercapacitor electrodes due to their unique structural and electrochemical properties. The spent lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) are considered as zero-cost source for cobalt oxide production. Objective:: The aim of this work is to recover cobalt oxide from spent LiBs and study its electrochemical performance as a supercapacitor electrode material. Method:: This study uses an electrodeposition method to obtain cobalt oxide honeycomb-like anodes coated on Ni foam substrates from spent Li-ion batteries for supercapacitors applications. The effect of annealing temperature on the cobalt oxide anode has been carefully investigated; 450 ºC annealing temperature results in nanocubes on the surface of the cobalt oxide electrode. X-ray diffraction confirmed the formation of the Co3O4-NiO electrode. Results:: The Co3O4-NiO nanocubes electrode has shown a high specific capacitance of 1400 F g-1 at 1 A g-1 and high capacitance retention of ~96 % after 2250 cycles at a constant current density of 10 A g-1 compared to 900 F g-1 at 1 A g-1 as for prepared Co3O4 honeycomb. Conclusion:: This strategy proves that the paramount importance of Co3O4-NiO nanocubes, meticulously synthesized at elevated temperatures, as a supremely effective active material upon deposition onto transition metal foam current collectors, establishing their indispensability for supercapacitor applications.

Facile synthesis and first principles calculations of Li-MoS2/rGO nanocomposite for high-performance supercapacitor applications

Two-dimensional (2D) nanostructured materials such as graphene oxide nanosheets and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) are potential candidates for electrochemical energy storage applications. The layered structure of MoS2 makes it a promising active electrode material for supercapacitors. Lithium (Li) interacted with MoS2/reduced graphene oxide (Li-MoS2/rGO) nanocomposite has been synthesized in two steps using a sonochemical dispersion method, and a one-pot hydrothermal method resulting in few-layered MoS2/rGO nanosheets of 2D heterointerfaces. The Li-MoS2/rGO nanocomposite exhibits a high specific capacitance of 173.3 F g−1 at a current density of 1 A g−1. Furthermore, an asymmetric supercapacitor device fabricated with Li-MoS2/rGO achieves a good energy density of 10.6 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 686.3 W kg−1 and outstanding cycling stability with 81.2 % capacity retention over 10,000 cycles. The dispersion of 2D-MoS2 in water is due to the strong electrostatic interface. The structural and electronic properties are theoretically calculated for pristine and Li-interacted MoS2/rGO heterostructure using density functional theory. A comparison of the density of states plots of the two heterostructures and the difference charge density plot of Li-MoS2/rGO heterostructure clearly brings out the importance of the presence of Li. A value of 64 μF cm−2 for the quantum capacitance for pristine MoS2/graphene heterostructure increases to a value 99 μF cm−2 corroborating the experimental observations and we assign this change to the transfer of charge from the Li atom to the outer S atoms in the MoS2/graphene heterostructure. This comprehensive approach, combining experimental synthesis with computational modelling, significantly advances the development and optimization of high-performance supercapacitor materials in the energy storage field. The Li-MoS2/rGO nanocomposite has excellent electrochemical specific capacitance and long-term cyclic stability and has been effectively used for supercapacitor applications with high electrochemical performance.

Impact of ultrasonic treatment duration on the microstructure and electrochemical performance of NiZnCo2O4 electrode materials for supercapacitors

This work investigates the impact of different ultrasonic treatment durations on the synthesis and electrochemical performance of NiZnCo2O4 (NZC) supercapacitor electrodes. Optimizing treatment to 20 min resulted in a uniform, compact NiZnCo2O4 layer with improved nanostructures, which increased the surface area and active sites for electrochemical reactions. X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed successful NiZnCo2O4 synthesis, revealing distinct crystalline phases of NiO, ZnCo2O4, and Co3O4, with improved crystallinity. Electrochemical tests, conducted using a 1.0 M KOH electrolyte, demonstrated that the NZC-2 electrode treated for 20 min achieved the highest 5.678 F/cm3 volumetric capacitance at 0.5 mA/cm2 current density along with 70.5 Wh/kg an energy density at 260 W/kg power density. The galvanostatic charge-discharge and cyclic voltammetry tests revealed that NZC-2 maintained superior charge-discharge efficiency, showing the longest discharge time at 1 mA/cm². Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements demonstrated that NZC-2 exhibited the lowest total impedance, thereby enhancing ion transport efficiency. The NZC-2/AC asymmetric supercapacitor showed excellent long-term stability, retaining 64.2% of its capacity after 20,000 charge-discharge cycles. It successfully powered a 1.2 V small fan, demonstrating its practical applicability. The results highlight the crucial importance of ultrasonic treatment in greatly improving the structural and electrochemical characteristics of NiZnCo2O4 electrodes, which opens up possibilities for the advancement of high-performance supercapacitors.

Polyoxometalates-based metal-organic frameworks with conjugated acid-base pairs for proton supercapacitors

The design and construction of electrode materials with high specific capacity and excellent cycling stability represents a crucial and challenging for the development of supercapacitors. Polyoxometalates (POMs)-based metal–organic frameworks, which are obtained via self-assembling of POMs and organic ligands, showcase high redox capability and stability and are suitable for electrode materials of supercapacitor with high specific capacity and high stability. Three new Dawson-type POM-based metal–organic frameworks (POMOFs), [(Cu3(MPT)2(H2O)3)[P2W18O62]]·12H2O (CUST-831), [(Cu3(MPTD)2(H2O)7)[P2W18O62]]·6H2O (CUST-832) and [(Co2(HMPTZ)2(H2O)4)[P2W18O62]]·9H2O (CUST-833) have been successfully synthesized under hydrothermal conditions via tuning nitrogen heterocycles-based organic ligands. All three Dawson-type POMOFs exhibited impressive specific capacitance values of 225, 305, and 430F g−1, respectively, at a current density of 1 A g−1. The theoretical calculations and experiments indicated that the enhanced performance of CUST-833 is attributed to its higher proton conductivity. The two uncoordinated N atoms on the organic ligand in CUST-833 form a “conjugated acid-base pair” that facilitates rapid proton transport. This work provides new insights into the design and synthesis of proton-conducting materials based on POMs in their crystalline state for supercapacitors.

In situ growth of MnO2 on graphitized cellulose nanocrystal: A novel coaxial heterostructures with unblocked conductive networks as advanced electrode materials for supercapacitor

Manganese dioxide (MnO2) with high theoretical capacitance and natural abundance has attracted great attention but is still challenging for use in supercapacitors, due to the limited conductivity and lower electron and ion migration. Here, a facile in situ growth strategy is developed to prepare heterostructural graphitized cellulose nanocrystal (GCNC)/MnO2 with unblocked conductive networks through a hydrothermal reaction. The GCNC with highly ordered graphitic carbon layers as conductive support framework solves the agglomeration problem of MnO2 and increases effective specific surface areas in contact with electrolyte ions. Meanwhile, the stable connection of MnOC covalent bonds enhances the interface bonding, which effectively reduces the contact resistance at the interface of heterostructural GCNC/MnO2 and enhances the interface firmness. The resulting GCNC/MnO2 electrode shows a remarkable specific capacitance of 528.2 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1. Furthermore, the symmetric supercapacitor based on GCNC/MnO2-15 mM exhibits high rate capability and excellent cycle stability of 100 % capacitance retention after 3000 cycles. This work provides a new path to designing high performance electrode material for sustainable energy technologies.

Composition-optimized NiGa-LDH on MOF-derived and cobalt-nanoparticles-embedded carbon flakes for enhanced potassium-ion storage

Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), renowned for their distinct nanostructures, efficient ion channels, and high specific capacitance, are promising electrode materials for supercapacitors (SCs). However, commercial applications remain limited due to constraints in the rate capabilities and cycling. The synergistic effects of the composites can be leveraged by pairing LDHs with carbon materials to enhance the conductivity for better SC characteristics. Herein, flaky Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework(ZIF)-67 is deposited on carbon cloth and calcined to produce the MOF-derived composite of carbon nanosheet-embedded nano-cobalt particles (CPEC) on the surface of the carbon cloth. Afterward, NiGa-LDH with a controllable Ni to Ga ratio is synthesized on the CPEC to form a flower-like hierarchical nanostructure NiGa-LDH/CPEC@CC. Co nanoparticles act as nucleation sites for cohesive formation within the carbon cloth framework. Ni2Ga1-LDH/CPEC@CC has the best properties, such as a specific capacitance of 729.6F g−1 at 1 mA cm−2 and 97.3 % capacitance retention at 2 mA cm−2. The asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) consisting of Ni2Ga1-LDH/CPEC@CC//AC has an excellent energy density of 83.96 Wh kg−1 with a power density of 80 W kg−1. Density-functional theory (DFT) calculations of Ni2Ga1-LDH/CPEC@CC affirm a potassium ion adsorption energy of −2.127 eV and density of state (DOS) near the Fermi level. The study imparts theoretical and technical knowledge about the design of complex nanostructures from MOF precursors.

Synthesis and Characterization of Synergetic Pd/MoO3–rGO Hybrid Material as Efficient Electrode for Supercapacitor Application

In this work, study synthesized Pd–rGO and Pd/MoO3–rGO nanocomposites via a one-pot hydrothermal method, serving as efficient electrodes for supercapacitor applications. Various analytical techniques, including XRD, XPS, HRTEM, BET, and Raman spectroscopy, were employed to characterize the structural, morphological, and physiochemical properties to assess the electrochemical supercapacitor performance of nanocomposite materials. The analyses confirmed that the charge transfer mechanism between the MoO3-NR with Pd-rGO in Pd/MoO3–rGO samples has significantly improved the electrochemical performance of Pd/MoO3–rGO by 2.7 times compared to Pd-rGO sample (105.00 F/g at 0.5 A/g). Remarkably, the Pd/MoO3–rGO hybrid material exhibited excellent electrochemical activity, boosting a specific capacitance of 291.50 F/g at a current density of 0.5 A/g, accompanied by energy density and power density values of 18.06 Wh/kg and 250.00 W/kg, respectively. Furthermore, it demonstrated noteworthy stability over prolonged usage, retaining 88.46% of its capacity after 1,000 cycles at a constant current density of 1.0 A/g. These findings underscore the promising potential of the Pd/MoO3–rGO nanocomposite as a highly effective electrode material for supercapacitors.

Activated biomass-derived 3-dimensional porous graphene-like carbon for high-performance energy storage electrode materials

This article reports studies on the fabrication of active material for supercapacitor electrodes, from 3D porous graphene-like carbon (GLC), synthesized by carbonization from coffee waste (CW) and tea waste (TW) at 550 °C, followed by thermochemical activation in KOH at 850 °C in a quartz tubular furnace. The microstructure of coffee and tea waste shows the form of micro- and mesopores during carbonization and further chemical activation forms hierarchically highly porous 3D graphene-like carbon. GLC-CW exhibited a higher specific surface area (SSA) of 3486 m2/g according to the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) method, compared to GLC-TW, which had an SSA of 2407 m2/g. These results highlight the effectiveness of graphene-like carbon derived from coffee and tea waste, demonstrating its potential as a promising material for high-capacity supercapacitors. The electrochemical characteristics of the assembled supercapacitors using GLC-CW and GLC-TW revealed significantly higher specific capacitance values of 214 F/g and 182 F/g respectively, along with cycling stability of 98 % and 95 % during 5000 cycles of charge and discharge at 2 A/g current density. This approach can produce high-performance electrode materials for supercapacitors at a reasonable cost and with easy scalability.
