On the basis of exploring the effectiveness of traditional ethnic sports teaching in undergraduate colleges under the background of curriculum ideological and political education, this article analyzes how to carry out traditional ethnic sports teaching in undergraduate colleges under the background of curriculum ideological and political education, and give full play to the educational value of traditional ethnic sports.

Analysis Of Meaning and Moral Education Values of Al Barzanji's Poetry in The Community Environment Cianjur District

The tradition of reading Barzanji's poems in Cianjur District seems to be decreasing and decreasing. The causal factors include 1) the lack of socialization and training from Barzanji speakers towards the younger generation, 2) the lack of interest and attention from the younger generation to learn the recitation of Barzanji's poems, 3) the absence of a specific institution to deepen Islamic cultural art in terms of this is the preservation of the tradition of reading Barzanji's poetry, 4) the rapid flow of infiltration of non-Islamic culture towards the Muslim community so that the Muslim community knows and applies non-Islamic cultures more than the Islamic culture itself. Furthermore, the author conveys that this research will describe the results of data analysis on the meaning and values ​​of Moral Education in the tradition of reading Barzanji's Poems in the community of Cianjur Regency. This method is descriptive. An effort to preserve the Barzanji tradition in the community of Cianjur Regency includes: 1) Improving the learning and training process for the Barzanji Tradition at Majlis Ta'lim and Islamic boarding schools so that the Barzanji tradition can be passed down from generation to generation, 2) Organizing a Barzanji festival periodically with involving religious institutions and schools, especially during religious holidays, 3) making or incorporating Barzanji poetry into teaching materials in Islamic Religious Education or Indonesian language subjects in schools from elementary to tertiary level, 4 ) Carrying out intensive outreach regarding the historicity and meaning of Barzanji's poetry to the wider community both in urban and rural areas.

Exploring mouse necropsy through augmented reality: developing a web application for enhanced learning and visualization

Necropsy, the examination of animal carcasses to determine the cause of death, is an essential skill for many professionals. Traditional training methods, however, are costly and time-consuming. The article suggests that Web-based Augmented Reality (WebAR) can offer an immersive and cost-effective training experience for laboratory animal necropsy. It describes using photogrammetry techniques to create a virtual necropsy environment consisting of 10 necropsy steps. A questionnaire was used to evaluate the usability, educational value, and drawbacks of the designed application by students who tested it. The paper outlines best practices for developing WebAR simulations, including high-fidelity 3D models and interactive elements. Additionally, it presents methods for creating new WebAR applications using specific programs or scripts. This paper highlights the potential benefits of WebAR for laboratory animal necropsy training, emphasizing its accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

Hubungan Antara Pembelajaran PAI & Budi Pekerti terhadap Perilaku Sosial Siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama: Studi Deskriptif di kelas IX SMPN 48 Bandung

This research aims to explore the relationship between learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and character towards the social behavior of students in class IX SMPN 48 Bandung. The research method used is qualitative with a naturalistic approach. Data was obtained from students, PAI teachers, school principals, and deputy heads of curriculum. The research results show that PAI learning plays an important role in shaping students' character, especially in the aspect of discipline in worship. Factors such as the behavior and characteristics of other people, cognitive processes, environmental factors, and cultural background also influence students' social behavior. PAI teachers have a crucial role in guiding students to develop positive attitudes, such as a sense of empathy, integrity, responsibility and honesty. There is a positive relationship between PAI learning and students' social behavior, where understanding religious values ​​can influence student behavior positively. PAI teachers also play an important role in shaping students' social behavior through real examples in everyday life and interactive teaching methods. The implications of this research for education are the importance of developing an innovative PAI curriculum, continuous training for PAI teachers, supporting a positive school environment, and involving parents in their children's religious education. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the formation of character and social behavior of students at SMPN 48 Bandung and strengthen understanding of religious values ​​in education.

Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk Pembentukan Karakter Siswa di SD Alam Hayuba Wlahar Wetan Kecamatan Kalibagor Banyumas

This research aims to reveal: firstly an overview of character education, secondly to explain the forms of strategies used by schools in instilling character education values. The research method used in this research is a qualitative type of research, where data collection is carried out through documentation, interviews and observation. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely: collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and concluding. To test the validity of the data, credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests were carried out. The results of the research reveal findings regarding: (1) the description and form of character education at SD Alam Hayuba Wlahar Wetan, this can be seen from the values ​​developed at the school, namely: religious values, discipline, responsibility, honesty, love of the environment, passion reading, and creative. (2) strategies used by schools and teachers in instilling educational character values, namely: role model strategy, foster care methods, enforcement of discipline, habituation activities, as well as integrity and internalization. the importance of every PAI teacher being an actor in character education in schools, manifested in systematic strategies and programs. The instilling of PAI values ​​at Alam Hayuba Elementary School contributes significantly to the formation of student character. Students show improvements in aspects of morals, discipline, responsibility and cooperation. A holistic approach and a supportive environment are key factors in the success of this program.

Profile of Ocular Trauma in Pediatric Population in a Tertiary Care Hospital

BACKGROUND Ocular trauma is the major cause for preventable monocular blindness and visual impairment worldwide. It accounts for 8%-14% of total injuries in the pediatric age group. Various studies have shown its higher incidence in this age group. They have different patterns of ocular injuries than adults and have age specific type of injuries. The number of blind years that a child lives with compared to an adult is far more. Most of the previous studies have been on ocular trauma among the adult population, specifically the factory workers in the city of Ludhiana. Moreover, this study aimed to derive a relation between the time of presentation from the injury and the final visual outcome which has rarely been reported in other studies. Profile of ocular trauma in an area is a dynamic and ever changing trend. Therefore, we proposed to study the profile of ocular trauma in pediatric population presenting to our hospital. METHODS A total of 60 patients between the age of 0 to 17 years were included in this study. The study was conducted from 15th December 2020 to 31st May 2022. Complete ocular examination was done at the time of presentation and after management; The best corrected visual acuity was noted at the end of three months. RESULTS Among our study subjects 45% belonged to the age group of 11-17 years. A male predominance (68.3%) was noted. For most of the subjects, the duration between time of injury and time of examination was less than 6 hours. The proportion of closed globe type of injury (80%) was significantly higher as compared to open globe (8.3%) and extraocular type of injury (11.7%). At the 3 month follow up, out of the 53 study subjects, 92.45% had good visual outcome (VO), 3.77% had fair VO and 3.77% had poor VO respectively. CONCLUSIONS Most of the pediatric ocular trauma may be avoided, which emphasizes the value of health education, adult supervision, and the implementation of suitable interventions to lessen the frequency and severity of trauma. Better visual outcome is expected with a shorter duration between time of injury and time of presentation.

Research on the Cultural Inheritance and Information Protection of Qinhuai Lanterns from the Perspective of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Qinhuai lanterns are a characteristic cultural activity in Nanjing and a well-known intangible cultural heritage in China, this study deeply analyzes the cultural value of Qinhuai lanterns from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage, and discusses its cultural inheritance and information protection strategy in the context of the new era. Through a detailed analysis of the historical, artistic, social, and educational values of Qinhuai lanterns, this paper proposes protection measures such as the development of inheritance and promotion platforms, the production of film and television media works, the establishment of digital resource libraries, and the strengthening of international cultural exchanges. As a treasure of traditional Chinese culture, the inheritance and protection of Qinhuai lanterns are of great significance for maintaining cultural diversity, promoting social development and enhancing national self-confidence. The purpose of this paper is to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the protection and development of Qinhuai lanterns, and to promote their new vitality and vitality in the context of the new era.

Addressing challenges in diagnosis and management of rare disease through interprofessional education

Rare diseases represent a significant public health challenge due to their complexity and lack of resources. One way to improve care for patients with rare disease is to educate healthcare professionals on the diverse and unique needs of patients with rare disorders. An interprofessional education (IPE) event was created for healthcare students based on the Interprofessional Education Collaborative’s ‘IPE Core Competencies', mainly targeting two specific competencies: (1) interprofessional communication and (2) teams and teamwork. The IPE event included direct instruction, case-based learning, and narrative medicine components using the rare disease nephropathic cystinosis as a model of a rare complex disorder. Pre- and post-event survey data were collected to assess the participants' knowledge acquisition and perceived confidence in caring for patients with a rare disease as part of an interprofessional healthcare team and included open-ended questions regarding qualities of an interprofessional team member, and key takeaways from the event. Enrollment included 163 graduate-level healthcare students from nine different disciplines. The survey data showed improved understanding of the importance of rare disease research (p < 0.001), ability to identify supportive resources for patients (p < 0.001), confidence in being part of an interprofessional team caring for a patient with rare disease (p < 0.001) and value of education about rare disease (p = 0.009). When asked to describe features of effective interprofessional teams, common traits included strong communication skills, empathy, compassion, understanding, collaboration, and respect. This work demonstrates that utilizing an interprofessional model in educating health professional students about rare diseases successfully enhanced learners’ confidence in their ability to be part of an interprofessional team caring for patients and families impacted by rare disease, and given the total prevalence of rare diseases, may have a significant impact on healthcare as a whole.

A Study of The Compilation in Chinese Teaching Materials for Malaysian Junior High Schools: Taking Ancient Poems as An Example

Ancient poem, which is an important part of Chinese literature in ancient China, contains rich cultural and educational values, and plays an important role in the process of Chinese teaching in Malaysia. It has become an indispensable part of Chinese textbooks. Mastering the selection and arrangement of ancient poem in textbooks not only helps with textbook research, but also has important significance for teachers' teaching and students' learning. This article takes the ancient poem textbook in Chinese (KSSM) as the research object to analyze and discuss its selection and arrangement of articles, and summarizes the selection and arrangement characteristics of ancient poem textbooks in Chinese (KSSM) .

Reflecting Experiences of Regional Academic, Tourism, and Education Specialists in Geoheritage Evaluation for Fujairah, UAE and Southeast Arabia

In Southeast Arabia (i.e. the United Arab Emirates [UAE] and Oman), geoconservation is a budding initiative, but to date, there has been limited evaluation of geoheritage sites in this region. Many geoheritage evaluation methods have been developed over the last 20 years, but the most popular methods reflect experiences from experts in Europe. The representativeness of these methods for different regional, cultural, and social contexts requires scrutiny. This study developed the first parametric method for geoheritage evaluation focused on Southeast Arabia, using Fujairah, UAE as a case study. The study applied a novel approach based on questionnaires completed by regional geoscience academics, local nature tourism professionals, and local science teachers. The preferences they expressed for scientific value, educational value, and touristic value, respectively, were used to develop the evaluation method. To test the requirements for informed decisions by tourism professionals and science teachers, the study compared results of questionnaires from two occasions: after a seminar on regional geoheritage sites, and after site visits. The resulting method deviates from previous methods in the relative weight it places on various criteria, substantiating the need to target wider regional voices in methods for geoheritage evaluation in Fujairah and Southeast Arabia. It reflects the need to consider cultural and societal differences, as well as curricular requirements for the educational value, that are not highlighted in existing evaluation methods. The applicability of the method was tested and confirmed by ranking geosites in Fujairah, and the method could be used at a regional scale in the future.

Customized and Non-Customized Mandarin Children Songs: A Comparison of Musical Characteristic and Educational Values

Three composers, Wu Songjin (吴颂今), Yu Shan (羽善), Peng Mei (彭玫), specialized in children song productions were interviewed to discuss musical characteristics and values imparted in modern Mandarin songs. Face-to-face discussion were carried out in two cities in China, Guangzhou (广州) and Quzhou (衢州), in 2023. In these paper, the authors’ contribution in categorizing children’s songs as customized and non-customized remains among the earliest academic discourses. Here, the authors concluded that customized songs are usually consumed commercially and created based on the growth background, personality, and language habits of specific children from different regions, locales and cultures; whereas non-customized songs are closely associated with governmental policies and cultural projects, with the musical characteristics more flexibly crafted by the composers. In terms of educational values, mainly reflected in the song texts, the authors found fundamental differences between these two categories. The lyrics of customized songs are usually created to meet the needs of specific individuals or specific occasions, projecting personalized emotions and stories; while for non-customized songs, they focus more on common cultural awareness and are committed in promoting social responsibilities.

Research on the Implementation Path of Integrating Ethnic Traditional Culture into the Art Curriculum of Pre-school Education in Guangxi

In the context of the new era, with the deepening of educational reform and China's increasing emphasis on national culture, cultural heritage and educational innovation have become important topics for social development. Culture is the soul of a nation, carrying its historical memory and values. With the acceleration of globalisation, cultural diversity and cultural confidence have become particularly important. Guangxi province, as a place where Chinese ethnic minorities live, is rich in ethnic cultural resources, and these resources have great potential value in preschool education. The purpose of this paper is to explore the effective implementation path of the integration of traditional culture of ethnic minorities in Guangxi and the art curriculum of preschool education, with a view to promoting the inheritance and development of ethnic culture in Guangxi while enriching the content of preschool education and enhancing the cultural literacy of young children. By introducing the traditional culture of ethnic minorities into the art curriculum of preschool education, the content of early childhood education can be enriched, and the cognition and respect of multiple cultures can be promoted.

A cross-sectional study of low birth satisfaction during the COVID-19 epidemics' fifth wave.

To investigate predictors of low birth satisfaction in a sample of Iranian postpartum women during the COVID-19 epidemics' fifth wave. A cross-sectional study. This study was conducted on 676 postpartum women admitted to postpartum wards of Mobini maternity hospital using a convenience sampling method between 2 Aug and 18 September 2021 in Iran. We used the general linear model and multiple linear regression analyses to determine predictors of birth satisfaction. The mean and standard deviation values of age and education were 28.7 ± 6.6 and 11.1 ± 4.1 (years), respectively. The mean scores of the three scales were as follows: FVC-19S (14.7 ± 7.5), WHO-5 (67.5 ± 13.0) and BSS-R (28.6 ± 7.3). Sixty-five point nine percent (65.9%) of the participants were multiparous. Overall predictors of low birth satisfaction were emergency caesarean, instrumental birth, episiotomy, Entonox analgesia, low level of well-being score < 50, fear of COVID-19, low satisfaction with pregnancy and low satisfaction with spouse's support. The overall proportion of the variance in birth satisfaction explained by all variables is 17.4%. Labor and birth variables explained 12.2% of the variance in birth satisfaction. None.

The Role and Challenges of Three-Stroke Script in Modern Calligraphy Education

Chinese calligraphy education (CCE), with world-renowned artistic and cultural values, is essential to Chinese culture. The “Three Strokes Script (TSS)” is an integral part of CCE, which not only improves the CCE’s efficiency and standardization but also meets the needs of modern life and promotes the wide dissemination and innovative development of CCE. There are more studies on TSS, but comprehensive review articles are still lacking. Therefore, there is a need to analyze the state of development and trends in TSS and use these insights to improve the quality of teaching and enhance students' comprehensive literacy. This study synthesizes a large amount of relevant literature from China and abroad. Comparative analysis demonstrates the educational value of TSS. It reveals the current state of implementation of TSS and identifies the challenges faced in the current practice of TSS. The results show that TSS significantly improves calligraphic skills, aesthetic literacy, cultural inheritance, and identity. Meanwhile, digital technology has brought new opportunities for TSS, immensely stimulating students' interest and participation in learning. Some challenges in TSS still need to be further explored and solved. The teaching quality can be effectively improved by innovating the education model, strengthening the teacher construction, and utilizing modern technology. Through systematic analysis, this paper provides new research ideas and directions for future TSS and modern calligraphy education.

Virtual Mineralogical Museums and Mineral Websites as Learning Agents: Analysis of How Minerals Are Represented

Virtual mineralogical museums can help visitors construct and enhance their personal scientific mineral models through the information they incorporate. For this to be possible, they must contain a series of key aspects related to minerals’ properties (chemical and physical), use and origin, and the relationships between them. In this study, 38 sites are analyzed, their main characteristics identified, and their educational value assessed, to verify whether all the key aspects considered for the construction of an appropriate and complete mineral model are present. Photographs and mineral files predominate over 3D models and 3D tours. In many of the sites aimed at university students or geoscience experts, there are abundant data about mineral properties, but not in those aimed at a broad public audience. Data about the uses and relationship between uses, extraction, and mineral properties are seldom included. Even if connectivity is very high in all the sites, there are no elements that can be used to test if there has been a knowledge gain after visiting them. The results show that there is still a lot of information missing for this type of resources to be truly helpful for the general population and, specifically, for educational uses.

Educational endoscopic videos improve teaching of middle ear anatomy.

Videos and images are becoming an educational tool in every domain. The objective was to assess the contribution of short educational endoscopic videos in learning the complex anatomy of the tympanic cavity. We conducted a prospective study amongst all the otolaryngology residents in 2021 in the greater Paris area (n = 74), from the first year to fifth year. We divided the residents into two groups who had the same 30-min anatomy class based on anatomical drawings. The second group had a 4-min endoscopic educational video at the end, whereas the first group did not. A video test of 10 surgical situations with each time 5 anatomic structures to identify was created. All the residents took the test just after the class, and 1 month later to assess long-term memory. The MERSQI score (design to assess the quality of educational studies) applied to our study was calculated. The two groups were comparable in terms of training. The "video" group had significantly better results in the first test, mean score 24.40/50 (± 11.7) versus 16.74/50 (± 11.1) (p = 0.005) and also at 1month, mean score 23.25/50 (± 12.3) versus 18.01/50 (± 11.3) (p = 0.035). The score in each group, and the difference between both groups, increased with resident seniority. The MERSQI score of our study was 14.5/18. This study highlights the educational value of videos to help memorise complex 3D anatomy such as in the tympanic cavity.

Analisis Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Pada Novel A+ Karya Ananda Putri Sebagai Bahan Ajar Pembelajaran Sastra Di SMA

The significance of education is a crucial value that is both instructive and practical for one's lifetime. Teachers in school or educators can transmit these ideals to their students. Presently, there is a prevailing belief that the significance of education should be given precedence in response to the declining moral and ethical growth of pupils. There is a significant prevalence of adolescent delinquency among pupils, including behaviors such as bullying, physical altercations, promiscuity, and others. The significance of education in daily life can be elucidated by examining literary works, particularly novels. The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational values present in the novel "A+" by Ananda Putri and to assess the potential use of these values as teaching resources for literary instruction in high schools. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach utilizing reading techniques and note-taking methodologies. The research findings indicate that the novel A+ by Ananda Putri encompasses 14 educational values, specifically: 1) religious, 2) honest, 3) tolerance, 4) discipline, 5) hard work, 6) democratic, 7) curiosity, 8) respect for achievement, 9) friendly/communicative, 10) love of peace, 11) fondness for reading, 12) social care, 13) responsibility, and 14) independence. Moreover, these findings were utilized as alternative instructional resources in the form of educational value-based learning modules for twelfth-grade high school students. After undergoing validation by multiple experts, this training material achieved a score of 79.88%.

Strategies for Enhancing Audience Engagement in Cultural Exhibition Space Design

In this study, we explored strategies to enhance audience engagement through cultural exhibition space design. Utilizing the Evaluation Grid Method (EGM) and the Kano Two-Dimensional Quality Model, this research aims to identify key spatial design factors that influence emotional and cognitive engagement from the consumer's perspective. This includes examining how spatial layout, interactive devices, and the presentation of cultural elements can enhance the overall experience of the audience. The research methodology combined in-depth interviews and surveys, providing data that helped us analyze which design features most effectively capture and maintain audience interest and participation. The findings of this study offer specific guidance for cultural exhibition designers to improve exhibition space design, thereby attracting more audience participation and enhancing the educational and entertainment value of exhibitions. The study emphasizes the importance of innovative space design in increasing audience engagement in cultural exhibitions, providing an empirical foundation for future exhibition design practices.

PENANAMAN NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER CERITA RAMAYANA PADA MATERI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA HINDU DI SD FAJAR HARAPAN

This study seeks to examine the process of instilling character education values through the Ramayana story in the context of Hindu Religious Education at SD Fajar Harapan. The Ramayana, a narrative rich in life values such as hard work, responsibility, social care, and creativity, serves as a key educational tool for fostering character development in students. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research gathers data through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that teachers play a pivotal role in guiding students to identify and comprehend the character values embedded in the Ramayana. Through the use of video-based learning strategies, students are encouraged to observe and analyze the characters within the story, followed by group discussions that facilitate the differentiation between positive and negative values. The internalization of these values occurs progressively, beginning with the teacher's interpretation and transitioning into interactive discussions that allow students to relate these values to their everyday lives. In conclusion, the Ramayana story proves to be an effective medium for character education, particularly within an educational framework that prioritizes cultural and local value approaches.
