The purpose of this report is to show a different and unconventional approach to making volumetric shapes in the case of felt. It is aimed at children, as a different technological and aesthetic element compared to those that can be off ered in public kindergartens. For this, in the learning process, educators must provide the opportunity to use innovative approaches, to work with a variety of materials, to ensure that children “produce something different“[1]. The report can serve as a guide for shaping concrete practical ideas. The introduction of children into the system of compulsory preschool education plays an important role. This fact lays the foundations for the overall improvement of a wide range of skills that are essential for the formation of creative personalities and includes the acquisition of basic knowledge, competences and behavior patterns by children. An important place is occupied by the work to strengthen the feeling for the forms that children see around them. The process of becoming familiar with shapes combines both visual and tactile perception.
