Strategi pengelolaan lingkungan ekowisata Sungai Gelombang di Desa Sipungguk Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar

Sungai Gelombang Ecotourism located in Sipungguk Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province which has the potential to be developed as an environmentally ecotourism. This study aims to analyze the existing conditions of the Wave River ecotourism environment and determine the right strategy in managing the Wave River ecotourism environment. The research was conducted from October 2022 to January 2023. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, direct observation in the field, documentation and in-depth interviews with the community, visitors and stakeholders, as well as secondary data obtained from references related to ecotourism environmental management. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis show that the existing conditions of the Sungai Gelombang ecotourism ecology which includes rainfall, current, brightness, river area, color, depth, water temperature, pH, water bottom, vegetation, and biota are included in normal conditions that support ecological functions, Existing economic, socio-cultural, and institutional conditions show the need to increase the role of the surrounding community and government. Based on the SWOT analysis of Sungai Gelombang ecotourism management with the S-O (Strength - Opportunity) strategy. The strategy is to increase the role of the surrounding community and government with programs that support environmental conservation

ІННОВАЦІЙНІ НАПРЯМКИ УПРАВЛІННЯ ЕКОЛОГІЧНИМ ТУРИЗМОМ В УКРАЇНІ В КОНТЕКСТІ СТАЛОГО РОЗВИТКУ

The article examines modern approaches to ecological tourism as a complex management system, which includes environmental educational and educational activities among participants. The main task of this model is to achieve economic goals while simultaneously preserving nature and cultural values for future generations. The article examines how economic, environmental, social and political aspects have contributed to the rapid progress of ecotourism. It was discussed how ecotourism can become a means not only for economic growth, but also for the preservation of the ecosystem and cultural heritage. Much attention is paid to the importance of applying the latest management approaches, infrastructure development and conducting educational programs for communities. The importance of establishing ecological routes with proper information and safe infrastructure is highlighted, as well as the formation of clear rules for tourists. The role of monitoring and control over compliance with environmental norms for the adaptation of tourist activities is revealed. The importance of local population participation in ecotourism projects for economic development and raising environmental awareness is emphasized. Ecotourism is presented as a tool for the protection of nature and culture, while offering ways of social and economic progress. International experience in the field of ecotourism is also mentioned, showing its impact on local communities, regional economies and the environment. Based on this experience, recommendations are offered for adapting global best practices to local conditions to create a sustainable ecotourism environment. The conclusions call for an integrated approach to the development of ecotourism, which requires the joint actions of government, business, local communities and international organizations. The article emphasizes the importance of creating an effective ecotourism management system that provides a balance between the needs of tourists, environmental protection, and economic interests of regions. The need to involve the public and the private sector in the development and implementation of projects in the field of ecotourism is also emphasized.

Unlocking the ecotourism environment: exploring music as a tool for cultural preservation and sustainable tourism development

This qualitative research study investigates the role of music as a catalyst for fostering sustainable tourism practices and contributing to the long-term social, economic, and environmental well-being of ecotourism destinations. The focus is on Truthung's musical performances in Magelang, which serve as reflections of local tourism potential and the surrounding natural environment, including the Borobudur Temple and the Merapi, Merbabu, Andong, Sumbing, and Menoreh Mountains. Drawing upon the interdisciplinary concept of ecomusicology, this study employs various data collection methods, including observations, interviews, and documentation. By examining the growth and development of Truthung Music performances, with a particular emphasis on key figures such as Sutanto Mendut and farming artists from Merbabu, this research sheds light on the transformative power of music within the local community. The findings reveal that Truthung Music not only represents the rich local environment and culture within tour packages in Magelang Regency but also emphasizes the broader interplay between nature and culture. "Village Civilization" provides clear evidence of the relationship between nature and culture, showcasing the local potential of the Lima Gunung arts community. This research addresses a gap in the literature by examining the specific role of music in the context of ecotourism and its contributions to sustainable practices. The implications extend beyond the local community, providing valuable insights for policymakers, tourism professionals, and cultural preservationists regarding the significant role that music can play in promoting sustainable tourism and preserving the cultural heritage of ecotourism destinations.

Interlinkage of Perceived Ecotourism Design Affordance, Perceived Value of Destination Experiences, Destination Reputation, and Loyalty

The aim of this study is to analyse the relationships between the perceived ecotourism design affordances (PEDA), perceived value of destination experience (PERVAL), destination reputation, and destination loyalty among the tourists visiting Langkawi Island, Malaysia. It extends the affordance theory through the lens of Gestalt theory and ecological dynamics in understanding the interactions between tourists and products derived from their ecotourism environment. A quantitative approach was utilised, in which a structured questionnaire was used to collect 280 tourist responses through purposive sampling. Utilising partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to test the research hypotheses, it is reported that PEDA significantly impacts PERVAL, where the latter subsequently impacts both destination reputation and loyalty. This illustrates the mediating impacts of PERVAL on the relationship between PEDA and destination reputation and destination loyalty. Another result revealed that destination reputation has a significant effect on destination loyalty. The findings address the gap in the tourism literature centered on the dynamics of product design and its subsequent value in shaping positive ecotourism destination reputation and loyalty. Such insights also emphasise the necessity for tourism stakeholders to generate values from coherent ecotourism product design through the affordance perspective.

Valuasi Ekonomi Ekowisata Kawasan Ekosistem Esensial (KEE) Pantai Taman Kili-Kili Kabupaten Trenggalek

Ecotourism KEE Kili-Kili beach, located in Trenggalek Regency, is rich in biodiversity and natural beauty. Valuation is needed to determine the use value or benefits of resources and the environment. Economic value of resources that offer natural beauty, in general, are non-market (does not have a market price) because they are public goods. This study aims to estimate the potential economic value of KEE ecotourism at Taman Kili-Kili beach, Trenggalek Regency. This study is a quantitative study with multiple linear regression analysis to determine the factors that influence the number of tourist visits. Meanwhile, to find out the economic value, the individual travel cost method (ITCM) is used. The results showed that only the motivation variable had a significant effect on the number of visits variable. The economic potential of ecotourism KEE at Taman Kili-Kili beach reaches Rp. 34,580,440,612/year. The magnitude of the value of the economic benefits of natural resources and the ecotourism environment of the Taman Kili-Kili KEE coast is expected by managers and related stakeholders to improve ecotourism management by adding tourist facilities and attractions to provide more satisfaction for visitors. In addition, the improvement of the access road to the location is very necessary in order to provide convenience and comfort in reaching the location.

Destination Image, Tourist Satisfaction and Loyalty in the Eco-Tourism Environment

The purpose of this study is to investigate the image variable of tourist destinations, visitor satisfaction and loyalty of tourist visitors affect the decision variable of tourists to visit through moderating variables of tourist visitor attitudes. In this study, the independent variable is related to the behavior of tourist visitors, the variable is the image of the desired tourist destination, visitor satisfaction and visitor loyalty, while the dependent variable is the tourist's decision to visit, and the moderating variable is the attitude of tourist visitors. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method using path analysis.In this study the independent variable is related tothe behavior of tourist visitors, such as the image of the tourist destination that visitors want, visitor satisfaction and visitor loyalty, the dependent variable is the tourist's decision to visit, with moderating variable the attitude of tourist visitors. The data analysis uses AMOS 18, and the data taken is data on the number of tourist visits who visited ecotourism in Indonesia for 2016-2021 years. Partially variable image of tourist destinations,tourist visitor satisfaction and tourist visitor loyalty have a significant effect on the decision variables of tourists to visit ecotourism destinations throughout Indonesia and the attitude variable of tourist visitors to visit ecotourism throughout Indonesia, while simultaneously the variable image of tourist destinations,Tourist visitor satisfaction and tourist visitor loyalty indirectly have a significant effect on tourist decision variables to visit ecotourism destinations throughout Indonesia through the attitude of tourist visitors to visit ecotourism throughout Indonesia. Through the results of research that has been stated that to increase the willingness or attitude of tourist visitors to decide to visit an ecotourism destination, the destination must be able to improve its image well, improving the image of ecotourism destinations will be able to increase tourist visitor satisfaction, with increased satisfaction, visitors will loyal and frequent to visit ecotourism tourist destinations throughout Indonesia.

Manajemen Ekosistem Pesisir Pulau-Pulau Kecil Untuk Ekowisata Berkelanjutan Di Pulau Saparua

Saparua as small island rich in coastal natural resources. Main coastal ecosystem are mangrove, seagrass beds, coral reefs and sandy beach. Coastal ecosystem also has an important role in ecotourism environment services to improve the communities economy and must be managed sustainably. This paper aimed to identifying potential small islands coastal areas as a tourist destination and planned management to sustainable ecotourism used SWOT analysis. Ecotourism was sustained in small islands can be conducted integrally through 14 management strategy to tourism industry which economic, social and environmental dimension. Ecotourism coastal area management of small islands should be done in coordination with the agrosilvofishery.

However, whilst theory has guided the justification for ecotourism and development of its principles, very little exists to steer how ecotourism should be contextually embedded. This research seeks to explain the notion of manufactured ecotourism from the perspective of Singapore. In a land-scarce country, ecotourism is hardly conceivable in an environment where occupying physical space is expected to bring high economic returns on infrastructural investment. However, from a comparative case-study approach, three specific exemplars of ecotourism developments have shown that the manufacturing of ecotourism has shifted the narrative of land use in Singapore and continues to transform the tourism landscape in the country. The outcomes of the research steer the directions of planning and stakeholder partnership for new destinations embarking on their ecotourism journey to ‘Envision Eden’.

PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ECOLOGICAL TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURES IN PROTECTED NATURAL AREAS

The problems of protected natural areas is analyzed in this article. The reasons that hinder the ecological tourism development are marked. The authors pay special attention to the quality aspects of the architectural environment. The results of a comprehensive analysis of international experience of architectural design and beautification of public spaces set out on the examples of the national parks. The typological system of structuring a basic nomenclature of facilities which are necessary for scientific research and tourist services is proposed. The need for the diversification of the functional composition and composite solutions is demonstrated on the examples of the visitor centers. Some features of the development of infrastructure for ecotourism environment of the National Park «Samarskaya Luka» are considered.

Application of GIS and Artificial Neural Network Model Ecotourism Relevancy Evaluation

Ecotourism suitability evaluation is a relatively new field in the area of land suitability evaluation. There are numerous studies which focus on land suitability evaluation, yet very limited attention is paid to ecotourism suitability evaluation. Investigation and evaluation of ecotourism resources and the ecotourism environment are helpful for determining whether a particular area is suited for ecotourism activities, providing a theoretically reasonable basis for the functional division and activities in ecotourism planning, and a foundation for sustainable development of the ecotourism industry.

To solve the problems occurred at present in the Kanas Nature Reserve, strategic countermeasure of sustainable development of eco-tourism have also been suggested, including: a. establishing a legislation system for the eco-tourism programming; b. establishing an eco-tourism environment protection planning system; c. establishing an eco-tourism environment protection auditing system; d. Establishing an eco-tourism environment protection legislative and law enforcement system; e. establishing an eco-tourism ethical education and management system.

Research on Community Participation in Environmental Management of Ecotourism

Ecological environment is the material base of the development of ecotourism. The ecotourism cannot develop well without high quality ecotourism environment. The goal of ecotourism development is to protect ecological environment, which is also the essential characteristic of ecotourism different from other kind of tourism. This paper tries to discuss the community participation in environmental management of ecotourism, aims to improve the awareness of participation and environmental protection among community residents and, to establish the mechanism of community participation in environmental management of ecotourism. In this way, can the community residents be benefit from ecotourism; and at the same time, the communities provide strong motive to protect the resources and environment of ecotourism well.

Study on the Eco-tourism Environment Protection Based on the External Theory

From the connotation and nature of the eco-tourism, this article use the external theory to analyze the external diseconomy in the eco-tourism development. The external disecomomy of the eco-tourism contains production aspect and consumption aspect, such as the external diseconomy produced by irregular exploring actions, by lacking in strict tourism management measures and by the non-ecological actions of tourists. The external diseconomy in the tourism development has not only affected sustainable development of the eco-tourism, but also may bring about unrecoverable damage to the fragile ecological environment. Thus the government should play a leading role in the eco-tourism development to take on necessary intervention and regulation to the eco-tourism. The government must establish eco-tourism planning and strict examination and approval system, must strengthen eco-tourism environmental monitoring, must set up complete macro policies and laws or regulations on the eco-tourism development, must eliminate or weaken the external diseconomy of the eco-tourism and must protect the ecological environment on which eco-tourism relies. Only by such measures, do we promote sustainable and healthy eco-tourism development.

Ecotourists' Perception of Ecotourism Experience in Lower Kinabatangan, Sabah, Malaysia

This paper presents the empirical findings of an exploratory qualitative study which looks at ecotourists' perceptions of ecotourism experiences in Sabah, Malaysia in order to identify the expressive dimensions that describe the quality of their experience. In-depth interviews were conducted with European ecotourists who stayed at two ecolodges in Sukau. Positive and negative experiences were identified from an analysis of the expressive dimensions of their service experience. The findings show that the ecotourists' experience is multidimensional. Respondents place particular emphasis on the ecotourism activities in which they physically engage at the sites and the natural environment in which they are located; their interaction with the site service staff; socialisation with other ecotourists, and the information acquired during the visit. The six expressive dimensions describing the positive experience are consistent with previous research. The study explores understanding of ecotourists' experience in the ecotourism environment – an under-researched area. The paper points out that the evaluation of quality of experience appears to involve both attributes – functional elements that are provided by the service suppliers and affective/emotional elements that are brought about by the ecotourists themselves.
