Abstract Specimens of small diceratids from Tithonian (Jurassic) reef deposits of the eastern Betic cordilleras belong to Monnieria or a closely related genus. Their presence suggests analogous reef environments during the Portlandian and Tithonian in southern Spain and the Languedoc region, southern France.
