Health Practices and Educational Aspirations as Indicators of Acculturation and Social Class Among the Eastern Cherokee

Research among the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians would indicate that visible differences among the people in matters of health and education are not only a result of acculturation. Social class behavior seems to figure prominently as a factor in disparate behavior manifested by nonconservative Cherokees.
