Early MP-ASI Supplementation Impact in Infants and Toddlers Aged 6 to 24 Months

The highest rate of solid or semi-solid feeding occurs at the age of 4-5 months in 32.7% of the 488 sample children, according to data from the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey, and the highest rate of early supplementation of drinking occurs at 2-3 months in 24.7% of the 506 sample children. This research also continues the results of previous research, where the research was to determine the dominant factors in giving MP-ASI to babies and toddlers. The research results were obtained from 132 babies and toddlers, of whom 44 (33.3%) had received early MP-ASI. This study aimed to determine the effect of early complementary feeding on growth and development in infants and toddlers aged 6–24 months in the Banjar Baru PKM area, Tulang Bawang Regency, in 2022. This type of research is retrospective with stratified random sampling, with a sample of 132 mothers with infants and toddlers aged 6–24 months. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test and multivariate analysis with the Logistics Regression Test. The results of the study showed that more than half, namely 62.1% of respondents, were in favor of giving early complementary feeding to infants and toddlers in the risk category in the work area of the Banjar Baru Health Center, Tulang Bawang Regency, in 2022. The statistical test results also found that there was a significant effect between the behavior of giving MP to infants and toddlers with growth (p-value = 0.0001, OR = 3.273) and development (p-value = 0.000, OR = 10.353) in the Banjar Baru Public Health Center, Tulang Bawang Regency in 2022. In order to prevent early complementary feeding in infants and toddlers, it is suggested that pregnant women be educated about the effects of early complementary feeding on their children's growth and development from 6 to 24 months of age. reactivating the role of Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) and health cadres in community activities for early detection of growth and development of infants and toddlers, identifying anomalies early so they can immediately receive referrals for treating developmental disorders in infants and toddlers in the Banjar Baru health center, Tulang Bawang district, in 2022.

TRAINING AND MENTORING ON EARLY DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF CHILDHOOD GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT DISORDERS IN ABA 05 KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS

Introduction: Early detection of growth and development is very important to be carried out to detect early deviations in growth and development in children. Independent monitoring of children's growth and development can be carried out by teaching staff at schools through various trainings in monitoring children's growth and development. This activity aims to provide training and assistance to students and teaching staff regarding the early detection and treatment of growth and development disorders so that if deviations are found, early intervention can be carried out so that growth and development return to normal or the deviations do not get worse. Methods: The methods used are counseling, training, demonstrations, and discussions carried out face-to-face. This activity was carried out at ABA 05 Kindergarten, Malang City by involving teachers (n=5) and students (n=52) in implementing the activity Results: The results obtained during the health examination were that 40% of students experienced dental caries and 2 students experienced growth and development disorders (speech delay). After being given training and assistance as well as practicing Early Detection of Child Growth and Development, participants were able to carry out early detection of child growth and development independently. Conclusion: This activity can be used as a good step to detect a child's growth and development so that appropriate intervention for growth and development disorders can be carried out as early as possible through collaboration between the school and parents.

Pemberdayaan Kader Posyandu Balita melalui Program Pelatihan Deteksi Dini Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan pada Balita di Desa Panaikang

Experts have classified toddlers as a stage of child development that is very vulnerable to disease attacks or lack or excess nutritional intake. One optimal way to support children's growth and development is by monitoring growth and development at the posyandu. The readiness of posyandu cadres is one of the posyandu services in providing basic services. Activities to monitor children's nutritional status are supported by the community who come to the posyandu through cadre participation. The aim of this community service is to provide training to cadres about Panaikan Village. The target of this community service is posyandu cadres. Community service is carried out for 2 days. The methods used are pretest, education, training and posttest. The Pre Test was carried out to determine the cadres' initial knowledge about early detection of growth and development in toddlers. Then education and training was carried out regarding early detection of growth and development in toddlers. After that, a Post Test was carried out. The post test was carried out to determine the results of cadre training regarding early detection of growth and development in toddlers.

Implementation of Home Parenting Activities as an Effort to Prepare Early Childhood Growth and Development

Parents have an essential role in caring for, educating, and meeting the needs of a child, especially in the aspect of growth and development. How parents educate is very important for the growth and development of early childhood. Education and upbringing at home must be harmonized with education at school so that children grow up to be intelligent, independent, and have character, growing into strong and rugged individuals. This research was motivated by a need for parental awareness of children's learning activities at school, inappropriate parenting patterns, and the importance of children's education. This research aims to determine children's development as a communication tool and the model for implementing learning programs in collaboration with parents in early childhood education, especially in Blora Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach obtained through interviews, documentation data, and observation data regarding the implementation of home parenting programs or activities. This research shows that home parenting activities can be carried out through reporting on children's learning progress at school, knowledge of early detection of growth and development, parents' skills in creating work, and involvement of parents as resource persons. Parenting methods are usually carried out at school and sometimes only once a semester; for home parenting, this is done once a month. Implementing home parenting activities can make it easier for parents to provide parenting lessons and learn more about their children's activities.

The Influence of Health Education About Cadre Knowledge on Early Detection of Toddler Growth and Development at the Tamansari Health Center, Tasikmalaya City

The growth and development of toddlers is one of the tasks of the central government up to the level of basic health services, namely posyandu. Where in its implementation can be carried out by trained cadres. The role of posyandu cadres is very important besides health workers, parents, cadres also play an active role in the process of monitoring growth and development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education in the implementation of stimulation of early detection of growth and development of toddlers. This study used a quantitative method with pre-experiments and used a pre-post design. Using the One-group pretest and post test design approach, the population in this study were 50 cadres representing each posyandu. The sampling technique in the study was carried out by total sampling. The instrument used to assess the knowledge of cadres is in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that previously, more than half of the respondents had less knowledge, 26 (52%), whereas after being given health education, they experienced an increase in the good category of 38 people (76%). Wilcoxon - test obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion is that there are differences in the level of knowledge of the respondents before and after being given health education. Suggestions for health workers to strive for all posyandu to get the same visit and increase the ability of cadres to strengthen knowledge related to early detection of toddler growth and development.

In Indonesia, 8% of pre-school children experience speech and language disorders. Almost 20% of 2 year old children have speech delays and language disorders, speech delays most often occur at ages 3-16 years. The research method is correlative with a cross sectional approach. Sampling used a total sampling technique, namely where samples were taken from the entire population, namely 67 mothers with toddlers. Data collection in this research used primary and secondary data. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. Mothers' knowledge in the good category regarding growth and development was 26 respondents (38%). Mothers' knowledge in the poor category regarding growth and development was 41 respondents (61%). Able to detect growth and development disorders in toddlers, namely 30 respondents (44%) The statistical test results with a p-value of 0.023 < 0.05 and OR= 4.26 so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which means there is a significant relationship between the relationship between mother's knowledge about toddler growth and development. early detection of growth and development disorders for toddlers at Posyandu, Bangun Rejo village, Tanjung Morawa sub-district. The results of this research are to increase mothers' knowledge and insight regarding the growth and development of toddlers so that they are better able to detect the growth and development of toddlers.

Pelatihan Stimulasi dan Deteksi Dini Tumbuh Kembang Anak Usia Dini untuk Guru TK/RA/PAUD

Stimulation activities for early childhood development can be carried out in school learning activities (TK/RA/PAUD) by teachers by paying attention to several aspects of development that must be achieved by early childhood. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of kindergarten/RA/PAUD teachers in conducting stimulation and early detection of early childhood growth and development as well as socializing activities of stimulation and early detection of early childhood growth and development to the community. The training method is held in a hybrid manner (the theoretical material is provided online while the practicum material is carried out offline). Community outreach activities were divided into three stages of activity, namely pre-intervention, intervention and post-intervention for 15 kindergarten/RA/PAUD teachers in Kaduagung Timur Village, Lebak Regency, Banten. The results of community service activities show an increase in the average knowledge of kindergarten/RA/PAUD teachers regarding stimulation, early detection, and early childhood development of 33.33 (p=0.000), it is proven that this community service activity has a positive impact on teacher knowledge Kindergarten/RA/PAUD regarding stimulation, early detection, and early childhood development. Monitoring and evaluation results show that kindergarten/RA/PAUD teachers have socialized ways of stimulation, early detection, and early childhood development and development to parents, so that the dissemination of information regarding stimulation and early detection of growth and development can be carried out.

Integrative holistic learning is a process of forming students as a whole including education, aspects of health and nutrition of AUD, aspects of parenting, aspects of early detection of growth and development and aspects of protection. Children's social skills are forms of behavior, deeds and attitudes displayed by each individual to interact, associate, relate, with all existing norms and rules, so that they can accept and be accepted by the environment itself by benefiting. The form of skill is to be cooperative with friends, show empathy, express emotions reasonably, show a tolerant attitude, obey the rules of the game. This study aims to describe holistic integrative learning in developing social skills.This research is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, documentation, interviews and anlysis documents. The data is analyzed using data reduction, displaying data and taking conclusions. The results showed that the development of children's social skills through integrative holistic learning can be seen from changes in the development of children's social skills. Development is evolving from before. On the results of observations in the application of integrative holistic learning students experience developments in terms of being cooperative with friends, showing empathy, expressing emotions reasonably, showing a tolerant attitude, obeying the rules of play. This study aims to describe holistic integrative learning in developing social skills. Thus, integrative holistic learning is effective in developing social skills.

Pengaruh Pelatihan dengan Metode PBL Terhadap Keterampilan Kader dalam SDIDTK

ABSTRACTBackground: Detection and Intervention Program (SDIDTK) is a revision of the Early Detection of Growth and Development (DDTK) program which has been carried out since 1988 and is one of the main programs of the Puskesmas. Based on a report from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the coverage of Toddler health services in early detection of toddler growth and development is 78.11% 10. Monitoring and detection of early childhood growth and development is part of the duties of posyandu cadres in their respective working areas. The task of cadres is very important and complex because the problem of child growth and development is not only directed at physical growth and development, but also the psychological development of children under five. Harisman, stated that the lack of training and coaching to improve adequate skills for cadres caused a lack of understanding of cadres' duties. Early detection education efforts must be increased and one way is through training. Method: With pre-experimental design with non-standardized control group pretest design on 80 trainees. Results: skill changes in the treatment group MD = -13.07, and control group MD = -9.71. The effect of training on skills F = 12,867 sig 0.001 means there is influence. Implementation of The Toddler Growth Stimulation Program During The Covid 19 Pandemic Period, Manggahang Village, Bandung Regency in 2020

Growth and development at the age of toddlers can be a determinant of the success of a child's growth and development at a later stage. Research conducted by Soccoro, et al in the Philippines proved that there was an increase in psychosocial development by 6-11% in children aged 0-4 years who were stimulated for 2 years. Efforts to increase the prevention of growth and development deviations in children under five need to be checked regularly, namely in children less than 24 months it is done every 3 months according to schedule and children aged 24-72 months it is done every 6 months. This activity can be carried out several times in 1 month. The research objectives are study was to identify the schedule and implementation of the early detection program for child development during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bandung Regency. This type of research is descriptive non-analytic research with cross sectional quantitative method. Determination of the sample according to the sample criteria amounted to 43 mothers of children under five. Univariate analysis to determine the schedule for the implementation of the SDIDTK simulation at the age of 0-2 years, and ages 2-6 years, as well as the frequency distribution and to see the implementation variables of the simulation of early detection of growth and development of toddlers during the pandemic. The results showed that almost all 38 respondents (88%) supported the implementation of the detection of growth and development of toddlers, while only 5 (12%) did not support the implementation of the detection of growth and development of toddlers during the covid 19 pandemic. One of the efforts to prevent developmental disorders in infants and toddlers is to monitor growth and development even in the condition of the covid 19 pandemic in the area. Detection and simulation of child development is carried out routinely, not only for children with disorders but also for all toddlers every 6 months according to the age of the toddler. The research suggestion is that the puskesmas can monitor the implementation schedule for the detection of growth and development periodically with the help of health cadres. For educational institutions, it can be a reference for detecting growth and development of toddlers in lecture material and for further researchers, it is expected to be able to analyze factors related to the implementation of detection of growth and development in children in the condition of the covid 19 pandemic in the area.

Empowerment of Family in Early Detection of Total Growth at Puskesmas Karangrejo Metro

The target number of children in early detection of child development and development in the working area of ??Puskesmas Karangrejo is 1,037 children, with details of 133 infants from 0 - 11 months and 904 children aged 12 - 72 months. Of these, the coverage for early detection until February 2020 is still low, namely at 6.7%. The purpose of the Community Service is to empower families in conducting early detection of toddler growth and development in the Karangrejo Health Center area. The method of activity is health education and empowerment of “active participation” of mothers toddler in stimulating and detecting the growth and development of their children. The result of mentoring was that there was progress in the developmental ability of 1 child who had not been able to walk at the age of 19 months, showing an increase in walking ability after 2 weeks of assistance. There was an increase in the knowledge of mothers / families about growth and development by 12.68 points. There was an increase in the frequency of implementing stimulation for child growth and development by mothers of under-five from 88.2% of mothers who had stimulated to 98.6% after mentoring. Continuity of family empowerment is needed regarding early detection of growth and development and not only involving mothers / families but also involving cadres.

Increasing Paud Teachers Knowledge About Childrens Growth Detection with KPSP

Children are the nation's most valuable asset in the future, monitoring and stimulation of growth and development is one way for children to achieve optimal growth and development. Every child needs to be stimulated and monitored regularly as early as possible appropriately and continuously, both in the family and at school. Monitoring growth and development is carried out to find out whether children grow and develop according to their age and stage of development and can detect deviations in child growth and development. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge and provide training to early childhood teachers regarding early detection of child growth and development. This community service method is to conduct counseling about growth and development and early detection, followed by training for early detection of growth and development. Community service results: Pretest results show that of the 35 early childhood teachers who participated in the activity, 13 teachers had poor knowledge, and 12 teachers had sufficient knowledge, and 10 teachers had good knowledge. The results of the posttest after the counseling were 35 early childhood teachers who had good knowledge. The conclusion of community service is: There is an increase in knowledge after counseling on growth and development and early detection.

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG TUMBUH KEMBANG ANAK PAUD/TK HOLISTIK DI PUSKESMAS PRUMNAS REJANG LEBONG BENGKULU

Toddler period is known as the "golden period" and "window of opportunity", a period that is very sensitive to the environment and cannot be repeated. Efforts are made for children to grow and develop optimally by detecting deviations and early intervention. PAUD / Kindergarten teachers are an important element who can find out the existence of growth and development deviations and appropriate interventions at an early age. Community service activities aim to empower PAUD/TK teachers in increasing knowledge and skills through training for PAUD/TK teachers in stimulating children's growth and development and implementing SDIDTK to increase growth and development of preschool/kindergarten children. The target of the activity is 35 PAUD/TK teachers in the Working Area of the Prumnas Public Health Center, Rejang Lebong Regency in 2021. Training activities are carried out offline. The results of the pre-test and post-test of participants showed an increase in knowledge of 27.0 and the results of skills assessment using a checklist obtained an average score of 87. Community service activities by empowering PAUD/TK teachers through training and mentoring so as to improve the knowledge and skills of PAUD/TK teachers in conducting stimulation and early detection of growth and development of kindergarten/early childhood children.

The research design was Research and Development carried out in 2 stages. The first stage was identifying the DDTK instrument from the SDIDTK and Denver II manuals and then conducting FGDs with 70 participants. The second stage is test results development of 30 parents and their children with special needs to get recommendations on the results of instrument development. Methods to identify children with special needs by means of observation, interviews, documentation, orders and a combination of 3 methods. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, validity test and using product moment and reliability using Alfa Chronicle. There are eight questionnaires to detect blind, deaf, mentally retarded, disabled, disabled, autistic, ADHD and special intelligent. The development of this instrument has the addition of aspects of behavior and physical appearance that exist in children. The development of instruments for early detection of development of children with special needs consists of 8 questionnaires. The results of the instrument trial showed good results and the opinion of special school teachers and ABK therapists was very positive with the development of this instrument so it is recommended to be disseminated to posyandu cadres, the community and health workers.

HUBUNGAN PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG KPSP (KUESIONER PRA SKRINING PERKEMBANGAN) DENGAN PENGETAHUAN GURU KB TK TENTANG KPSP

The KPSP (Pre-Development Screening Questionnaire) examination which is carried out for early detection of growth and development of children aged 0-72 months is actually not only the task of health workers, but also people who often interact with children, one of which is Playgroup and Kindergarten teachers. But unfortunately, it’s very rare for these playgroup and kindergarten teachers to understand and carry out KPSP examinations for their students. This study aims to analyze the relationship of health education about KPSP with the knowledge of playgroup and kindergarten teachers about KPSP. It was pre-post test design, the sample werw taken randomly by simple random sampling on 33 playgroup and kindergarten teachers at Permata Hati Bangkalan and Taman Posyandu Eforbia Bangkalan. The data were analyzed using paired T-test with a significance of =0.05 using SPSS. The results showed that there was a relationship between health education about KPSP with the knowledge of Plygroup and Kindergarten teachers about KPSP (p value < 0.001). The average value of teachers knowledge about KPSP has increased before and after health education, from 49.39 to 62.88. It can be concluded that educational activities through health education are effective in increasing the knowledge of Playgroup and Kindergarten teachers about KPSP.

In the current era of globalization, parents, teachers, and all elements of society who are in the environment around early childhood learn to provide stimulation that is following the development of children. The wider and more open parenting science that can be accessed by parents, teachers and the community requires appropriate guidelines as a reference source to detect and stimulate children's development based on facts in the field. This is the background for researchers to develop and produce a book on stimulation and early detection of ICT-based early childhood development that is valid and practical. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model with requirements analysis procedures, prototype design, development, and evaluation implementation. The evaluation technique used is the Tessmer evaluation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research from experts, namely material experts and media design experts with very valid categories with proportions of 95.45% and 89.58% respectively, so that the product is feasible to be continued on a small-scale trial. So that the development of a guidebook for stimulation and early detection of growth for children aged 0-6 years is very valid to be tested as a guidebook for teachers and parents in stimulating and detecting the growth of children aged 0-6 years.
