IMPLEMENTATION OF STOCK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH A SMART TROLLEY

A system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) will be used to control kitchen, grocery store, and medical inventories through quantity checking with RFID. Stock atsupermarkets will surely start to fall in the racks due to an increase in customers. A new method that uses RFID is available to swiftly identify how much stock is left in each rack. The RFID reader periodically notifies the backend system of the items that are there and their movements when the tag is scanned. This helps with product positioning and inventory control. The RFID database saves each item's specifications so that the salesperson can quickly retrieve stock information, such as how many goods are stillon the rack and their precise location. When the stock decreases, a warning message will be displayed. There is a cart that fills the rack if the stock drops. In order for the salesperson to plan howto stock the rack in the supermarket using the android application developed by MIT app inventor, a portable robot is installed under the trolley that is led by users from the entry door to the items location. This allows the salesperson tocontrol the trolley by instructing it.

They can be beneficial or detrimental, and their interaction with humans has led to pandemics and serious diseases from the Antonine Plague to the COVID-19 pandemic, the interactions between microorganisms and humans, as well as the mechanisms of transmission, have played a crucial role in the spread of diseases, understanding their epidemiology and transmission is essential for their control. The epidemiological chain describes the transmission process of an infectious disease and involves elements such as the infectious agent, the susceptible host, the reservoir, the exit door, the door of entry, and the vulnerability of the host. The study of epidemiology and microbiology makes it possible to identify the risk factors associated with the transmission of microorganisms, develop infection control strategies, as well as design and evaluate interventions to prevent the spread of diseases and promote public health. Understanding the biological path of the microbe in the human species is essential for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, knowing in depth the infectivity, pathogenicity, virulence, lethality, antigenic power and mutation capacity of infectious agents. This review emphasizes the microbe and its biological pathway through the human species.

Improving the thermal protection characteristics of building enclosing structures of the Samara Academic Drama Theater building

Preservation of the architectural appearance of buildings of historical and cultural heritage is a prerequisite for their energy modernization when performing major repairs or reconstruction. In this regard, it is not possible to use facade systems to reduce heat losses by external walls. The use of internal insulation, as construction practice has shown, quite often led to a violation of the humidity regime of enclosing structures and, as a result, to the formation of dark spots and mold fungi on the internal surfaces. To prevent moisture accumulation in enclosing structures, with internal insulation, only thermal insulation materials with a low coefficient of vapor permeability should be used. The article presents the results of a thermal imaging survey of the facades of the Samara Academic Drama Theater building, which indicate increased heat loss in the basement of the building and the exterior walls made of silicate bricks after reconstruction in 1967. In order to meet modern regulatory requirements for the thermal protection of buildings of historical and cultural heritage, it was proposed to additionally insulate the exterior walls from the inside above the zero mark with foam glass, as well as warm plaster in the basement and basement of the building. Solutions are proposed for the replacement of window structures, entrance doors, coverings and ceilings to increase the energy efficiency of the operated building. When performing the thermophysical calculation of the above-listed enclosing structures, the authors methodology for estimating the plane of possible condensation was applied, which allows for a higher probability of assessing moisture accumulation in them.

Occupational Exposure during Intraperitoneal Pressurized Aerosol Chemotherapy Using Doxorubicin in a Pig Model

BackgroundThis study evaluated occupational exposure levels of doxorubicin in healthcare workers performing rotational intraperitoneal pressurized aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC) procedures. MethodsAll samples were collected during PIPAC procedures applying doxorubicin to an experimental animal model (pigs). All procedures were applied to seven pigs, each for approximately 44 min. Surface samples (n = 51) were obtained from substances contaminating the PIPAC devices, surrounding objects, and protective equipment. Airborne samples were also collected around the operating table (n = 39). All samples were analyzed using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. ResultsAmong the surface samples, doxorubicin was detected in only five samples (9.8%) that were directly exposed to antineoplastic drug aerosols in the abdominal cavity originating from PIPAC devices. The telescopes showed concentrations of 0.48–5.44 ng/cm2 and the trocar showed 0.98 ng/cm2 in the region where the spraying nozzles were inserted. The syringe line connector showed a maximum concentration of 181.07 ng/cm2, following a leakage. Contamination was not detected on the surgeons' gloves or shoes. Objects surrounding the operating table, including tables, operating lights, entrance doors, and trocar holders, were found to be uncontaminated. All air samples collected at locations where healthcare workers performed procedures were found to be uncontaminated. ConclusionsMost air and surface samples were uncontaminated or showed very low doxorubicin concentrations during PIPAC procedures. However, there remains a potential for leakage, in which case dermal exposure may occur. Safety protocols related to leakage accidents, selection of appropriate protective equipment, and the use of disposable devices are necessary to prevent occupational exposure.

HACI BEKTAŞ VELÎ TÜRBESİ İÇ MEKÂN DUVAR YÜZEYLERİNDE YER ALAN KALEMİŞİ TEZYÎNÂTI VE DÖNEMSEL ÇÖZÜMLEMELERİ

Hacı Bektaş Velî, one of Ahmed Yesevî's Anatolian saints, migrated from Nishapur and settled in today's Hacı Bektaş district. He founded Kızılca Halvet, that is Çilehane, and after his death he was buried next to Çilehane and a tomb was built on it. The tomb structure, which is the center and part of the complex, is located opposite the entrance door of the Hazrat Courtyard, which is the third courtyard of the lodge. Although it is not known when the tomb was built, it is dated to the 15th century. When the dervish lodge and lodge were closed during the Republican period, the kulliye was closed in 1925. After serving as an Agricultural School for a while, it was restored with the 1925 letter of the Ministry of National Education and opened as a museum. It conforms to the original structure numbered 22 May 1964 and 1935. It was arranged in accordance with the original in the repairs made between 1950-1960. Although there is information about Bektashism and Hacı Bektaş Velî in our sources, there is no explanatory information about the historical and artistic features of the tomb and the painted decorations. When we examine the painted ornament patterns that we can see in a renovated state today, it is seen that they belong to the 15th century. At the end of the century, perhaps at the beginning of the 16th century, II. We can see the traces of decoration art of Bâyezid period. Investigation into the thermal comfort and some passive strategies for traditional architecture of Li nationality in South China

The ecological experience of traditional regional architecture provides an excellent reference for coping with increased energy consumption from cooling in tropical developing countries. However, the thermal comfort of traditional architecture and the effectiveness of its passive measures still need to be further verified in summertime conditions in hot and humid regions. In this study, we selected the traditional Li architecture, including boat- and Kim-shaped houses, for thermal environment tests. Subsequently, we analyzed the operative temperature and PMV-PPD index to determine their indoor thermal comfort and major passive strategies under hot summer conditions. Finally, we propose suggestions for improving the deficiencies of existing passive strategies. Our results show that the traditional Li architecture failed to satisfy indoor thermal comfort for more than half of the test time during the summer. Gable bottom openings and entry door ventilation can increase indoor ventilation with negligible increases in heat gain; however, existing ventilation efficiency is too low to substantially improve indoor thermal comfort. Additionally, we found that the evolution from boat- to Kim-shaped houses was not fully compatible with the significance of climatic adaptation. Kim-shaped houses benefited from the change in the envelope and external environment and its indoor moisture dissipation rate was accelerated; however, their eave shading made the wind speed attenuation more remarkable between indoor and outdoor. These results can help improve the indoor thermal comfort of traditional architecture in hot and humid regions.

In situ virtual sensing for dwelling infiltration rates in multi-unit residential buildings

Wind- and stack-interacted dwelling infiltration is a major factor influencing heating and cooling loads, indoor environmental quality, and indoor air quality (IAQ) in high-rise or multi-unit residential buildings (MURB). However, it is challenging to observe the real-time infiltration rates in an entire building using existing sensors. Therefore, this study proposes a virtual sensing method for dwelling infiltration rates in MURB. Virtual sensing is developed in situ for the target MURB by a hybrid modeling approach combining forward simulation and inverse estimation using the building life cycle. It mainly consists of (1) multi-zone airflow network modeling with design information, (2) model calibration with intrusive commissioning data, and (3) virtual sensing with nonintrusive operation data. The proposed method can observe the outdoor air infiltration rates across the envelope and the interzonal airflow rates at the entrance door by dwelling units. In the validation case, the hybrid modeling approach could determine the reliable infiltration rate (with 97.16% accuracy). In the application, all dwelling units were rated by the thresholds in terms of the heating loads and IAQ based on the virtual sensing results. We strongly recommend observing dwelling infiltration in each household using the proposed virtual sensing method.

Photon dose rate distribution inside and outside a brachytherapy room.

In a brachytherapy room irradiated with an Iridium-192 (192Ir) source, the spatial distributions of photon dose rates were measured and calculated for the dose distribution both inside and outside the room. The spatial distributions were measured using a thermoluminescent dosimeter (LiF-100) on the surfaces of the concrete walls and barriers of the irradiation room. The calculations were performed using the particle and heavy ion transport code system (PHITS) by considering the detailed model of the brachytherapy room and the radiation source used in the measurements. The measured and calculated doses exhibited a similar distribution pattern within and outside the brachytherapy room. To reduce the edge effect at the entrance door, the addition of a 3-mm thick lead layer on the surface of the concrete wall on the left doorstop is recommended. For the 60Co source, with the existing walls and lead door thickness, the dose at the control console and in front of the entrance maze increased by a factor of approximately 60.

Evaluation of Workplace Exposures to Volatile Chemicals During COVID-19 Building Disinfection Activities with Proton Transfer Reaction Mass Spectrometry.

We conducted an experimental case study to demonstrate the application of proton transfer reaction time-of-flight mass spectrometry (PTR-TOF-MS) for mobile breathing zone (BZ) monitoring of volatile chemical exposures in workplace environments during COVID-19 disinfection activities. The experiments were conducted in an architectural engineering laboratory-the Purdue zero Energy Design Guidance for Engineers (zEDGE) Tiny House, which served as a simulated workplace environment. Controlled disinfection activities were carried out on impermeable high-touch indoor surfaces, including the entry door, kitchen countertop, toilet bowl, bathroom sink, and shower. Worker inhalation exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) was evaluated by attaching the PTR-TOF-MS sampling line to the researcher's BZ while the disinfection activity was carried out throughout the entire building. The results demonstrate that significant spatiotemporal variations in VOC concentrations can occur in the worker's BZ during multi-surface disinfection events. Application of high-resolution monitoring techniques, such as PTR-TOF-MS, are needed to advance characterization of worker exposures towards the development of appropriate mitigation strategies for volatile disinfectant chemicals.

RESEARCH OF AIR EXCHANGE IN THE APARTMENT ON THE BASIS OF EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OF CO2 MASS TRANSFER

Studying the frequency of air exchange in residential buildings is important from the point of view of ensuring microclimate conditions in the room for residents, as well as ensuring an appropriate level of energy efficiency. The purpose of this study is to experimentally study the concentration of CO2 in a typical apartment using stationary CO2 sensors and determine air exchange based on mass balances. The object of the study is a one-room apartment in a family-type dormitory in the city of Kyiv. The dormitory has ducted natural ventilation. As part of the study, actual and experimental measurements of the concentration of carbon dioxide were carried out in the premises of the living room, kitchen, corridor of the apartment and in the ventilation duct leading to the kitchen. Experimental research conditions were created by artificial injection of carbon dioxide. According to the research results, the air exchange rate in the apartment was at the level of 0.74 h-1 for the living room, 0.66-0.81 h-1 for the corridor, 3.4 h-1 for the kitchen, under conditions when the supply air enters through windows and entrance doors. The results of the research can be used to develop energy-efficient strategies for improving air quality in residential premises.

La Aduana digital y su relación con la simplificación de los procedimientos aduaneros

The digital economy is a global trend and it intensified during the pandemic that hit the entire world, which is why currently public institutions must invest in technology to be able to adapt administrative procedures to electronic administrative procedures, eliminating barriers of time and space with the purpose of improving the quality and transparency of the public service. Customs is the entrance door and the exit door for people and goods that are the object of foreign trade, which is why digital Customs is a categorical imperative in the context of the digital economy, being essential for total digitization of customs procedures an ideal regulatory framework both in the General Administrative Procedure Law, and in the General Customs Law, which is the special norm in customs matters. The pandemic evidenced the shortcomings in the logistics of Peruvian foreign trade and, above all, the lack of technology in customs procedures despite the fact that, for a little over a decade, Peru had been experiencing important regulatory changes related to the intensive use of technology, electronic transmissions and digital platforms aimed at avoiding physical contact between people and promoting the non-use of papers. The global needs derived from the pandemic in relation to reducing the negative impacts on international trade flows justified the concern of supranational institutions such as the World Customs Organization (WCO) who, based on best practices, issued a series of recommendations to deal with at this special juncture. In Peru, a series of provisions were made to restore and strengthen the international logistics chain, through the joint work of the public and private sectors, the public sector made the appropriate and necessary legislative and regulatory changes, for its part the private sector carried out the necessary investments to be able to supply the market with the goods and services demanded. In this context, it is evident the material and legal need to have a digital customs office where the electronic document has the same validity as the physical document, the principle of presumption of veracity is applied in its real dimension and customs procedures are one hundred percent digital.

One Hundred Years Later: Stern-Gerlach Experiment and Dimension Witnesses

Inspired by the one-hundredth anniversary of the seminal works of Stern and Gerlach, our contribution is a proposal of how to use their famous experiment in a more contemporary perspective. Our main idea is to re-cast the experiment in the modern language of prepare-and-measure scenarios. By doing so, it is possible to connect geometric and algebraic aspects of the space of states with the physical space. We also discuss possible simulations of the SG experiment as well as some experimental properties of the experiment revealed at the statistical level. Merging a more modern perspective with a paradigmatic experiment, we hope this paper can serve as an entry door for quantum information theory and the.

Crime Scene Examination of Murder and Suicide Case

Information was received in the control room of Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, for crime scene examinations of two dead bodies found in the room. A team of Forensic Experts visited the scene of crime and found various clue materials to establish the nature of the case. The crime was took place in the room of ahouse situated at the ground floor of the building. There was one female dead body found lying on the floor in front of the entry door and one male body was found hanging on the ceiling fan. There are many methods for committing suicide like poisoning, hanging, drowning etc. Hanging is a frequent suicide method because it anticipated a certain, rapid and painless death. Cut throats can be homicidal, suicidal or accidental. Homicidal cut-throats are a well-recognized method of killing while suicidal cut throats are less commonly reported and accidental cut throats are rare. The present study was carried out to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or a murder by examining the scene of crime. Various evidences of forensic interested were collected and were thoroughly examined information from the investigation officer was also gathered. From the study it was concluded that female was murdered by a sharp edge weapon by her husband and then he has attempted suicide by hanging himself.

석탄 저장시설의 석탄비산먼지와 총 휘발성유기화합물의 분포 특성

Coal dust scattering by the wind in the areas around outdoor coal storage facilities of steel mills and coal-fired power plants has been reported. We tried to address this issue by the indoorization of the outdoor coal yard, which will reduce the coal dust scattering. Thus, this study investigated the distribution characteristics of scattering coal dust and total volatile organic compounds, and recommended measures to improve the internal environment. The average concentration of coal dust above the ground by upper dust scattering was measured to be roughly twice as high as that closer to the ground. The highest concentration of dust particles was between 33 and 50 m above ground near the central deck. In addition, the dust concentration was always low in the north entrance area because of external ventilation provided by open door. However, the dust concentration was high in the southwest area, which lacked an entrance door and was further obstructed by mountain terrain. The concentration of total volatile organic compounds was estimated to be higher in the lower part of the coal storage than in the other areas, although there was no significant difference because it was typically extreme low concentration. Therefore, to improve the internal environment, the installation of an air purifier is recommended at the height of central deck in the southwest area of the indoor coal storage.

Deinstitutionalization and mental health of the deprived of liberty with mental disorders: the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil experience.

This paper presents an experience report on the supervision of deinstitutionalization of the prison system through the articulation of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) conducted from 2014 to 2021 within the Superintendence of Mental Health/Municipal Health Secretariat of Rio de Janeiro. This work of deinstitutionalizing people deprived of liberty with mental health problems consists of actions at the exit and entrance doors of the prison system and actions for the care of unimputable and imputable people with mental disorders. In the light of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform, formalized by Law No. 10,216/2001, we aim to present an approach to this process counting on the possibilities of building care policies for insane offenders that are not punitive or segregating. The practical results of this work include more significant participation of the network in the construction of care for insane offenders, elaborating policies that avoid the prison career or reduce the asylum time in the penal system, and understanding that security measures must always have an outpatient nature.

Portals and doors of residential buildings in Eastern Galicia in the late nineteenth century – first third of the twentieth century: typology, decorative features, manufacturers

In accordance with the findings obtained from field studies, the portals and doors in the structure of the entrance spaces of residential buildings in Eastern Galicia (the part of former Galicia and Lodomeria) in the late nineteenth century to the first third of the twentieth century were analysed. The doors were classified according to principles of location, decorative solution and placement of artistic decoration. Leading manufacturers whose products decorated the entrance spaces of residential buildings in Eastern Galicia in the late nineteenth century to the first third of the twentieth century were identified. The relationship between the artistic design of the entry doors and other kinds of art in the decor of the entrance spaces of residential buildings in Eastern Galicia in the late nineteenth century to the first third of the twentieth century was established. Modern restored samples in residential buildings of the specified period in the indicated area were found.

Testing the system: infant ‘abduction’

Infant abductions from hospital are rare events but make headline news. A US study examined 247 infant abductions between 1983–2006 and found nearly half were abducted from healthcare settings [1]. Abduction risk reduction strategies are also considered during the Care Quality Commission’s inspection of each maternity unit [2]. The baby tagging system was updated in our hospital in April 2020, training undertaken and subsequently reinforced with e-learning. In our hospital, many families have safeguarding concerns. These are considered the highest potential risk for infant abduction so it is essential the system and processes provide protection. The aim of this simulation was to test the processes currently in place for a tagged baby abduction from an inpatient ward to highlight good practices and identify system failures. An activated tag was assigned to a manikin on the transitional care unit. The manikin was removed, in a carrier bag, by a faculty member (‘the abductor’) tailgating a leaving staff member thus preventing the ward doors from automatically locking when the tag is near the sensor. The ‘abductor’ took the lift to the ground floor and walked out of the main entrance within three minutes. Faculty members were placed in transitional care (TC), the main entrance, and another tracking the tag’s location. A timeline of events was recorded and analysed. Simulation participants were debriefed, including staff directly involved, parents on TC, front of house staff, and senior managers. It was evident from the debriefing that this caused significant distress to some staff members who felt helpless and uncertain when faced with this scenario. It highlighted how quick and easy it is to leave the hospital with a baby. Important human factors were identified including discrepancies between emergency call requests and responses, and poor knowledge about the abduction of baby policy. System problems were found: hospital ‘lockdown’ locked internal doors preventing responder actions but not all external doors; and the tagging system did not respond as expected – locking the doors to the ward and an inaccurate final tag location. Multiple deficiencies in the system were found so an action plan has subsequently commenced. New external doors have been added to automatic lockdown and a new main entrance door system proposed. Tagging engineers are addressing the automatic locking of internal doors and tag location, switchboard calls are to be standardised, and the standard operating procedure is being reviewed and recirculated. 1. The Symbolic Meaning of the Tjong Yong Hian Gallery Building

In 1898, Tjong Yong Hian was appointed as the Mayor der Chinezeen, the highest representative of the Chinese community in Medan City. To commemorate all of Tjong Yong Hian’s legacy, there was a gallery building inaugurated at Kejaksaan Street, Central Petisah, Medan Petisah Sub-district, Medan City, North Sumatra, on October 29, 2011. This place is nunique in its architectural symbols and Chinese ornaments. This paper uses Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic analysis model known as the ’three-part-triadic’ model. The data analysis technique was carried out in (1) Representamen, (2) Objects, and (3) Interpretants stages. The ornaments in buildings have particular meanings and purposes. These ornaments are seen on entrance gates, walls, doors, windows, roofs, and other places based on the Chinese people’s beliefs, giving meaning to the building and its people.
