Mass Spectrometry has emerged as a valuable technique for investigating molecular cluster characteristics, including size distributions, compositions, stabilities and reactivity. In this study, we present a mass spectrometric analysis of cesium Cs mixed with sulfur hexafluoride S F 6 clusters, denoted as [ Cs ] n [ S F 6 ] m + , encapsulated within helium nanodroplets HNDs. Our analysis involved precise evaluation of mass spectra and calculating ion abundances taking into account the isotope patterns of ions. Additionally, we examined geometrical structures and stabilities of these molecules along with their corresponding highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)-lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy gaps. This finding sheds light on the fundamental properties and behaviour of mixed molecular clusters, offering insights into their potential applications and interactions.
