Results of the bibliometric analysis of dissertation researches on a problem of studying pedagogical theory and practice of the period of Ukrainian revolution made in the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine research establishments are presented. Quantitative analysis of document flow of dissertations was made with the following parameters: the total number of dissertations and master’s theses defended during 2001–2016, scientific specialties of pedagogical, psychological and philosophical sciences. The thematic and semantic range of names of theses on problems of studying history of development of pedagogical science and practice of the period of the Ukrainian revolution in chronological, historical, theoretical, and practical measurements is considered. It is noted that the representativeness of source study base is provided with the corresponding information and resource filling of the dissertation works (which are contained in the electronic catalog of National library of V. Vernadsky and in the List of subjects of the dissertation researches), defended in the institutions of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, and reflected on the official website of the academy. Existence of a tendency to increase the number of dissertations and to expand a circle of National Academy of Educational Sciences research establishments, where they are carried out due to expansion of number of the institutions, which passed a stage of organizational and functional reorganization, is stated.
