Research design, data, and methodology: This study analyzed the dispute cases involving online design platforms and proposed practical measures for designers and platform operators to address these issues effectively. Results: This study suggests that online platform operators can enhance their credibility by fostering collaboration with creators. Moreover, it emphasizes the need to develop internal monitoring systems and encourage third-party reporting of infringers and counterfeit products, accompanied by a compensation system. In addition, it proposes enhancing educational efforts to prevent infringement and institutionalizing stringent measures, such as permanently banning infringers from the platform. Finally, the study advocates for expanding online arbitration to ensure the swift resolution of disputes.
