THE PROBLEM OF THE DEPENDENCE OF GLOBAL WARMING ON THE INCREASE IN CO2 AS A SCIENTIFIC DEBATE

The Purpose of the Study is theoretical substantiation of the problem of global warming and climate change. The Research Methodology. Methods of analysis, modelling, description and generalization of data were used to study the problem of the dependence of global warming and climate change on the increase in CO2. The Scientific Novelty of the study consists in identifying the contradictions of scientific conclusions regarding the direct dependence of global warming and climate change on the level of CO2, outlining new directions of experimental work on the specified problem. The Conclusion. For an objective study of the climate problem and the role of CO2 in global warming, additional unbiased studies are needed, which are based on scientific facts and involve the use of the most modern measurement tools.

Executive control in bilingual aphasia: a systematic review

AbstractMuch research has been dedicated to the effects of bilingualism on executive control (EC). For bilinguals withaphasia, the interplay with EC is complex. In this systematic review, we synthesize research on this topic and provide an overview of the current state of the field. First, we examine the evidence for EC deficits in bilingual persons with aphasia (bPWA). We then discuss the domain generality of bilingual language control impairments. Finally, we evaluate the bilingual advantage hypothesis in bPWA. We conclude that (1) EC impairments in bPWA are frequently observed, (2) experimental results on the relationship between linguistic and domain-general control are mixed, (3) bPWA with language control problems in everyday communication have domain-general EC problems, and (4) there are indications for EC advantages in bPWA. We end with directions for experimental work that could provide better insight into the intricate relationship between EC and bilingual aphasia.

To present a comprehensive model of the correctional psycho-pedagogical

 Basic principles of the speech therapy theory underlie the formative experiment.

 The formation of emotive intonation will be effective only in the case of the
 integrate work of all experts participating in the training and education of
 children: tiflopedagog, speech therapist, psychologist, educators, music
 teacher. Their accurate and coordinated interaction according to the solution
 of the designated question represents a complex of the correctional
 psycho-pedagogical measures. A comprehensive model of the correctional
 psycho-pedagogical impact aimed at the formation of emotive intonation in
 preschool children with visual impairments may be useful for specialists working
 in specialized preschool institutions. This study provides a comprehensive
 approach to the formation of emotive intonation in preschool children with
 visual impairments.

New Directions for Experimental Work in International Relations

This paper provides an overview of some previous important experimental work in international relations. New substantive domains and methodological innovations for approaching innovative experimental work in international relations will each be discussed in turn. These areas of exploration include research into cross-cultural manifestations of basic psychological processes, investigations into the underlying dynamics of identity construction, transformation and rejection, and experimental explorations into such topics as regime type, coalitions and alliances, status competition, time horizons, and emotion.

An information processing analysis of some piagetian experimental tasks

One of the fundamental problems in the study of cognitive development is the determination of the developmental relationship between particular cognitive skills. An indication of its complexity is provided by the research literature centered on Piaget's concept of a “stage” in intellectual development. The first steps in an attempt to tackle this issue from a new methodological orientation based upon an information processing analysis are presented. A simple model of the problem-solving processes which appear to underlie successful performance on a range of experimental tasks testing concrete operations is described. It is analogous to a computer assembly system, with the major processes consisting of encoding of external stimuli, assembly of a task-specific routine from a repertoire of fundamental processes, and execution of the task-specific routines. The postulated fundamental processes are described in detail, and task-specific routines sufficient to perform successfully are described in terms of the fundamental processes. It is argued that since the complex task-specific routines consist of components that contain motivational and attentional mechanisms, no simple ordering of concrete operational tasks can be expected. Some new directions for experimental work are suggested.
